RACING fans have been left stunned after seeing footage of an incredible jockey foot race.
The remarkable race aired on Peruvian TV channel, Monterrico, on June 22 of this year.

Typically, fans at a horse racing track will expect to see Thoroughbreds striding out of the blocks to the finish line.
However, in this race, the jockeys themselves are the ones going through their paces.
This year's event saw 16 jockeys running a 100 metre sprint race for bragging rights over their competitors and to raise some money for charity.
As soon as they got away, two runners started tangling with one another, while the race winner was all smiles with his rival runners for the unique race.

Seeing footage of it online, fans were left stunned and believed they had come across The Holy Grail of horse racing events.
One said: "This may be the greatest thing I have ever seen."
A second added: "This is like a Monty Python skit!"
A third wrote: "Can we bet on this because if so that would be fun."

Jockey who 'jumped off horse' flees country after investigation launched into incident
The race happens at a Peruvian event known as Jockey Fest, the country's largest equestrian festival held at the Monterrico Racetrack, though admission is completely free and is held between midday and 7pm.
The jockey foot race itself started at 3:55pm this year, though there are some other races that occur throughout the day which gives attendees to bet on their favourite horse and rider.
Its aim is to "open the doors of the Jockey Club to new generations and promote equestrian sports as part of our cultural identity", according to president of the Jockey Club of Peru, Danilo Chávez.
Part of this strategy is to make it trend on social media, with many of the jockeys involved becoming social media stars as a result
The 2024 edition of the event saw as many as 15,000 fans turn out for the event, with horse racing in Lima - capital of Peru and where the track is located - dating back to 1864 and the venue itself being opened in 1960.
Chávez adds: "It's one of the ways to connect with new audiences and show that the Hippodrome can also be a modern and fun meeting place."

Princess Margaret's wild Monty Python night at the aristocrats' party revealed by BBC presenter
A 'very drunk' Princess Margaret once played a Monty Python song at an aristocratic gathering in the Scottish Borders, a former BBC presenter has revealed. The Queen's sister was described as being 'incredibly sloshed' as musicians danced around, according to former BBC presenter Steve Blacknell. The event was hosted by Colin Tennant, later 3rd Baron Glenconner, at his family's Glen House estate. His wife Lady Anne Coke was Princess Margaret's lady-in-waiting. At the time Blacknell was living with Scottish psychedelic folk band The Incredible String Band who were invited to the dinner. Speaking on the Time Capsule podcast, the 72 year old said: 'So there I am living with my heroes, one day the door opens in my little cabin and the drummer Jack [Ingram] comes in and he says 'we're off to have tea with some people so put your shoes on we're leaving in 10 minutes'. 'The row where they lived was in a place called Innerleithen in Peeblesshire, beautiful rolling hills and stuff, so about three quarters of a mile away was a castle which was owned by Colin Tennant. 'Now Colin Tennant was the guy who bought Mustique, the island, and was just an incredibly rich guy and he had this huge mansion thing. 'So we all traipse up there, we walk in and I can't believe I'm doing this with these people I adore so much and we can hear a piano playing so we get nearer and nearer and there plinking away on the piano, cigarette hanging out of her gob, is a very very very drunk Princess Margaret. 'So there she is with Roddy Llewellyn and they're all completely drunk... you're thinking what the hell is going on, I was only 21 or something. 'She starts playing on the piano, rather badly, 'I've got a ferret sticking up my nose' which is the Monty Python song and she said 'well come on then dance'. 'So just like dancing around a maypole me and these heroes of mine are dancing around an incredibly sloshed Princess Margret, to this day I still can't believe it.' Blacknell is best known for being an MTV Video Jockey as well as working in PR for several record labels, he is currently the CEO of the Central London School of TV and Media Training.

C hloe Kelly strides up to the ball. The weight of the moment is enormous. So many men and women have made this lonely walk before her, down this long, dark tunnel of fear, towards a small white spot painted on ground that won't swallow you up, however much you might wish it would 30 seconds from now. We all know the history of English players taking penalties which must be scored, and we all know it is a history of misery and pain. She has just seen three of her team-mates miss, fail, crumble. She knows that if she does the same, England will be out, the headlines will be harsh, the golden era will be over. And in the face of all this, in the face of the impassable Swedish goalkeeper, what does she do? Chloe Kelly laughs. She actually giggles. And then, in the grand tradition of Charlie Chaplin and Monty Python, she sticks out a leg.
