
Family ‘devastated' over 25-year-old's suspicious death in Aberdeen
THE family of a man who died after being found injured in Aberdeen have said they are 'devastated' at his death, which police are treating as suspicious.
He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he died on Tuesday, August 5.
Police said his death is now being treated as suspicious following a post-mortem examination.

Ironside's family have paid tribute to him in a statement issued via Police Scotland.
They said: 'Austin was popular, with friends across the city, and would do anything to help others.
'He was always smiling and his infectious laugh brought light into the lives of everyone who knew him.
'We are all devastated by what has happened and would like privacy at this terrible time.'
Detectives from Police Scotland's major investigation team are leading the investigation into the death and appealed for information.
Detective Chief Inspector Carron McKellar said: 'Our thoughts remain with Austin's family and friends as they come to terms with their tragic loss.
'Extensive inquiries to establish the full circumstances remain ongoing and I would like to reassure the local community that everything is being done to trace who is responsible.
'We will have a continued police presence in the area and I would like to thank the local community for their co-operation.
'We continue to appeal for anyone with any information which may assist our efforts to please come forward.
'Anyone with information can contact police on 101, quoting incident 1991 of Sunday August 3. Alternatively, information can be passed to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.'
Police have set up a major incident public portal (MIPP) where members of the public can send information directly to the police.

Man, 41, dies after crash involving van near roundabout on A77
A man has died following a crash involving a van on the A77 in South Ayrshire. The incident, involving a Ford Transit Tipper, happened at the Sandyford Roundabout in Monkton at around 1.35pm on Monday. Active shooter wearing Hawaiian shirt guns down four at Target in Austin
Four people have been shot at a Target in Austin after the gunman, who was described as wearing a Hawaiian shirt, opened fire on shoppers. The shooter is currently on the loose and the public have been warned to stay away from the store on Research Boulevard, Texas. Shots were fired just before 4pm ET at the Target, by a suspect described as a white man possibly wearing khaki shorts and a Hawaiian or floral shirt. At least four people are being treated by medics at the scene, EMS confirmed. It is unclear how serious their injuries are.
