"If successful, the system will be implemented in stages on highways operated by PLUS Malaysia Berhad. The main objective is to improve traffic flow, enhance user convenience and reduce congestion at toll plazas," it said in a statement today. Meanwhile, Bernama also reported that LLM stressed that there has been no change to the categories of vehicles subject to tolls, which excludes motorcycles.
