Charles told SunSport
"I told him I had a surprise, a new place that I wanted to show him and his father.
"The minute they drove in - like you did today - I stood there and said, 'What can you see on the far side?'

"They looked, they looked, they didn't know what they were looking for. I said, 'That's your destiny. The Wembley arch, that's your destiny calling. That's your destiny beckoning.'"
Dubois linked up with Charles after leaving Shane McGuigan but had just 14 weeks with his new coach before fighting Usyk.

A low-blow in round five - which Dubois argued was legal -
Usyk, 38, later went on to become undisputed champion by beating Tyson Fury, 36, before dropping the IBF belt to take the rematch which he also won.

Dubois, 27, meanwhile cemented himself as a true champion by flattening Joshua, 35, with a right hand in round five of their Wembley war.
And Charles says the boxer he took to Wroclaw is unrecognisable from the man that stands in front of him today.
He said: "We tried to cram everything to fight a genius of a fighter in the name of Usyk who since then has become undisputed.

"So we had 14 weeks to cram everything because when you fight a southpaw there are rules that you must obey when you're in front of a southpaw.
"Imagine trying to cram that into a new fighter, the working relationship, the trust wouldn't be there irrespective of whether it's Daniel Dubois or whoever else.
"The trust and the working relationship between a fighter and a trainer takes time to develop. Now it's been 24 months, there's a lot of development in all different areas.

"Daniel's two years older, two years wiser, all the ethos of boxing of the boxing that we teach here in this Pug gym, he understands the ethos we teach.
"And, the trust has developed, why? For many reasons; the numbers of fights that he has been with us, they're all wins with the exception of the Usyk fight.
"And the way he's beat his personnels, two unbeaten fighters and one was a double world champion. The way he disposed of them, remarkable."

Martin Johnson's 'good advice' could help Lions seal Tour triumph says John Fogarty
British & Irish Lions legend Martin Johnson has reminded his 2025 successors of the importance of small margins winning big games as he presented the team for Saturday's second Test against Australia with the jerseys. England's 2003 World Cup-winning captain, Johnson became the first man to skipper the Lions twice when he followed up his 1997 captaincy with the same role four years later. He had led the Lions to an iconic victory over the Springboks in '97 but experienced the other side of the coin in 2001 when the Lions were beaten 2-1 by the Wallabies. The former Leicester Tigers second row visited the Lions camp in Melbourne on Thursday night for the shirt-presenting ceremony ahead of Saturday's game when the Andy Farrell's side will try to seal a series victory at the first opportunity having won the first Test in Brisbane last Saturday. Assistant coach John Fogarty described Johnson's impact on the players following Friday's captain's run training session at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. 'Martin came in last night and he speaks nice and calmly. It was so cool to have him there. It was a privilege really,' Fogarty said. Read More Lions Tour Special: a crucial innings for the Wallabies in Melbourne 'He talked a bit about the Lions series they won and the Lions series they lost and the difference in either. He spoke about how in the biggest games the fundamentals are incredibly important. There's going to be errors but not compounding errors on errors is a huge part of winning big games. 'The room was completely quiet for the whole time he was there and spoke. There were guys just staring up at him. Maro (Itoje) asked him a question or two and then he handed out the jerseys. It has been such a privilege this whole journey to have someone like him come in and talk to the lads was another privilege. It's cool.' Some of the current Lions squad had not been born when Johnson last led the Lions 24 years ago but Fogarty said: 'They knew who he was. They knew who he was for sure. 'There was a bit of contemplation and reflection after he talked which is a good thing. It is what you want. You don't just want to turn around and get your dinner. There was a bit of thinking and there were conversations, but it was a quiet room because they wanted to listen to a guy they see as an icon.' Scrum coach Fogarty explained his biggest takeaway from Johnson's address. 'He said it is the smallest of margins in the biggest of games. The error bit, what he is talking about there is being able to get back to neutral and talking about being in the moment. 'All that stuff is difficult when you're playing in front of 95,000 people in a stadium as iconic as this. When you are under pressure or applying pressure, your emotions can go up and down so being able to get back to neutral or find a way to get clarity back in your mind in the shortest of times is difficult for players. 'I think that's really important for us tomorrow. We are not going to get everything our own way and we understand what type of a game and how big a game it is going to be for both teams, and we know it is going to be a game of small margins. So that's good advice.'

'We are not playing a pub team' - Lions captain Maro Itoje dismisses Australia frailty talk
Lions captain Maro Itoje has dismissed notions of Australian rugby frailty and a Test series whitewash ahead of Saturday's second Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground by claiming 'we're not playing a pub team'. The British & Irish Lions have a chance to wrap up the series in front of an estimated 90,000-plus crowd at the iconic home of Australian cricket and Aussie Rules football having blown the Wallabies away in the opening half of the first Test in Brisbane last Saturday on the way to a 27-19 victory. A repeat at the MCG would deliver a first series win for the famous touring team since 2013 and seventh in nine tours Down Under stretching back to the original 'British Isles' visit to Australia in 1889. That history resonates for tour skipper Itoje, who has quite the Lions backstory himself having first pulled on the red jersey in 2017 in New Zealand, quickly becoming a fan favourite in his battles against the All Blacks. This Saturday's match will be the England captain's seventh consecutive Lions Test appearance having started five and come off the bench in the final, deadlocked encounter of the drawn 2017 series. He does not entertain the idea that Lions players need help focusing on the task ahead. 'When you wear this jersey and represent the Lions you know it comes with huge honour and a sense of responsibility and we know we are not playing a pub team,' Itoje said. 'The Wallabies are a proper team, I played them last year in the autumn and we lost to them when we were supposed to win. They are a team that can punish you if you don't approach the game properly.' The Saracens second row acknowledged that a Lions Test brings something different from within into play compared to other big days for club and country. 'I guess these are the sorts of games, these are almost the reason why you want to play rugby. You want to play rugby and be a part of these huge occasions, huge games with maybe a little bit of jeopardy on the line, but more so the opportunity to do something special, the opportunity to be a part of something special, the opportunity to do something that lives long in the long in the memory, and create special memories with your friends and colleagues and family. 'So I try and focus on the opportunity. Then I also just try and focus on the process of what I need to do to get myself in the right space. 'Naturally, given the magnitude of the game and the weeks, there's a higher level of focus. As a professional athlete, there's always focus to what you do, but there's… not all games are equal. 'Not all games mean the same thing. And this game, last week, these games aren't equal to normal games of rugby. They're special. So naturally, there's a higher level of focus. It requires a higher level of intensity and a higher level of diligence to what you want to do.'

"Two of my favourite prospects [especially Soule], incredible eye for play-making and tons of gravity to attract and create space for Evan or / and Dovbyk* to run into. Roma fans mob and serenade Ireland star Evan Ferguson at airport ahead of loan move from Brighton "If the process is good, that bodes well for projecting how a team or player will perform during the upcoming season. "Evan's end product today—four goals and an assist—is great, but the biggest takeaway from his goals is the variety of weapons in his arsenal. "He's technically proficient, especially for someone of his physical stature. His understanding of how to operate in tight spaces looks good, which is crucial for a striker in Serie A. "He seems comfortable with both feet, and as we all know, he's very strong aerially. "These aspects of his game will help open up different attacking possibilities for Roma's attack, which we know Gasperini will take full advantage of.
