Pyar Paisa Profit Trailer: Mihir Ahuja, RJ Mahvash's Film Looks Super Amazing

News1805-05-2025
The trailer offers a compelling glimpse into the ambition, heartbreak and relentless hustle that define life within a prominent venture capital firm.
Amazon MX Player is gearing up for the release of its upcoming youth-centric drama series, Pyar, Paisa, Profit. With just a few days left for its release, the show rolled out its gripping trailer today, May 5. It offers a compelling glimpse into the ambition, heartbreak and relentless hustle that define life within a prominent venture capital firm. The trailer takes viewers into the glittering yet cutthroat environment of a top Mumbai-based VC firm.
Abhijeet, a bright young man from Delhi with small-town roots, enters this high-pressure world in pursuit of a life he has only witnessed in glossy magazines. He is joined by Saurabh, Shruti and Garima, each driven by their desires, romantic aspirations, or personal desperation. Their lives undergo a dramatic transformation as they secure coveted positions, filled with extravagant perks and designer privileges.
However, this high life comes with its own set of challenges. They are forced to navigate demanding bosses, intricate office politics, forbidden romances and the constant threat of layoffs. As a result, their bonds are tested and their truthfulness is stretched thin. Ultimately, when the very element that initially united them—money—begins to tear them apart, survival becomes their only goal.
Speaking about the series at a press meet, Amogh Dusad, Head of Content at Amazon MX Player, stated, 'At Amazon MX Player, we are committed to telling stories that mirror the aspirations, struggles and emotions of India's youth. Pyar, Paisa, Profit perfectly captures the pulse of a generation navigating the chaos of ambition, love and survival in a hyper-competitive world. It's fresh, fast-paced and deeply relatable and we are excited to bring it to viewers across India for free."
Mihir Ahuja, who brings the character of Abhijeet to life, shared his perspective. He stated, 'What drew me to this show was how authentically it portrays what happens when your dreams start coming tre, but at a cost. Abhijeet is caught between his small-town roots and the fast, flashy world of the venture capital industry in Mumbai. He's smart, idealistic and just wants to make it big, but he soon realises that sweeping ambitions come with unexpected compromises. Portraying him felt like holding up a mirror to an entire generation grappling with pressure, desire and self-worth."
Marking her debut as Garima, RJ Mahvash offered insights into her character. 'Garima is fierce, unapologetic and deeply emotional beneath her tough exterior. She's someone who knows how to survive in a competitive world but is still searching for something real, whether it's success or love. What I found fascinating about the show was how her vulnerability is never portrayed as weakness but rather as strength," she expressed.
Created by Mamta Patnaik, in collaboration with Sumrit Shahi and Durjoy Datta, the show is based on the novel, 'Now That You're Rich…Let's Fall In Love' by renowned author Durjoy Datta. The show features a talented ensemble cast including Mihir Ahuja, Shivangi Khedkar, RJ Mahvash, Neil Bhoopalam and Ashish Raghav. Helmed by Prashant Singh (known for Jabariya Jodi and Dehati Ladke), Pyar, Paisa, Profit is produced by Yash A Patnaik under the banners of Inspire Films Limited.
Don't miss watching Pyar, Paisa, Profit, streaming for free from May 7 on Amazon MX Player. You can access it through its apps on mobile devices, the Amazon shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, Airtel Xtreme and connected TVs.

Say hello to rom-coms! She is a dancer hailing from Kerala, while he is Param Sachdev from Delhi, who has come to Kerala and on the very first day meets her near their place of stay. Their connection is laidback and full of filmy references, but soon enough, she loses her cool and tells him off for playing with the emotions of everyone. Is he going to win them over, though? Especially Sundari? The main highlight comes at the very end, when Janhvi Kapoor new film shouts at Param and his friend, and tells them 'arrogant, entitled and prejudiced Janhvi Kapoor North Indians scene'. The question is posed to her by Param, and she shakes her head at him and then proceeds to show him the South Indian stalwarts in films.
