100 supersonic fan photos capturing three nights of Oasis in Edinburgh
And now, the three shows have come and gone, leaving behind memories of a lifetime for all those who managed to see the Gallagher brothers back in action once again. The Manchester band rocked the Scottish capital over three nights on August 8, 9 and 12, with thousands having flocked to Edinburgh for the occasion. Many of those didn't even have tickets to the concert, but just didn't want to miss out on the chance to soak up the atmosphere and singalong (albeit from a distance) to the band's iconic hits. We asked those of our readers who were lucky enough to see Oasis at Murrayfield to send in their pictures, and we received hundreds of brilliant photos from across the three nights. We've put together 100 of those into a bumper fan gallery so take a look through and see if you can spot yourself or anyone you know. 1 . Ex-Celtic star reveals his hack for getting FREE Oasis tickets after blagging last-minute brief from Liam Gallagher
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) EVERY one of the 200,000 Scots who were lucky enough to attend one of the Oasis comeback gigs in Edinburgh this summer will have their own story as to how they got their hands on tickets. Some fought through tooth and nail when the general sale went live. Others rushed to the pre-sale. Plenty paid hundreds of pounds for second-hand briefs. Cillian Sheridan's footie career has taken him all around the world... and he's now here to spread the word on how he blagged a brief completely scot-free. The 36-year-old started his pro career in Glasgow's east end but has since played in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Poland, Australia and Israel. In addition to the Hoops, he has starred in Scotland for Motherwell, St Johnstone, Kilmarnock, Dundee, Inverness and Queen's Park and is currently at Brechin City. Now as a part-time footballer, Sheridan was able to slide away during the week to attend the legendary Manchester group's third and final comeback concert at Murrayfield Stadium. The capital venue hosted around 70,000 fans each night, including two former Celtic heroes in Neil Lennon and Simon Donnelly. Joining them was Sheridan - but his route to the capital was rather different. He revealed that he met frontman Liam Gallagher at his hotel after playing a round of golf. Sheridan teed it up at the famous Gleneagles and on the way back to his car after his round, he bumped into the singer - and crucially he DIDN'T ask for a photo. He said: "Here's my hack to Oasis tickets. Ex-Celtic star goes wild as he does the huddle at Oasis gig with 70,000 fans "Go for a round of golf in the morning, on your way back to your car bump into Liam Gallagher at his hotel. "Here's the important bit. DON'T ask for a photo, instead chance your arm & ask for a ticket! "Not how I thought my day would pan out! Legend!" Sheridan included the words alongside a picture of his view at the gig, revelling with the other fans in the Scottish sunshine. Given Sheridan's heritage, one fan posited one theory as to how he ended up with a free ticket. They said: "Luck of the Irish." 3 Cillian Sheridan in action for Brechin City Credit: SNS Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
