GEORGE RUSSELL has splashed out on a £2.2MILLION luxury yacht following his success on the track.
The Formula One superstar has traded the tarmac for the waves after recently purchasing a Pershing 6X yacht.

Russell, 27, is having one of his best campaigns behind the wheel for Mercedes and is currently fourth in the Driver's Standings.
And the Brit is clearly earning himself a handsome pay packet, reportedly £11.2m-per-year, as he he started to treat himself to some of the finer things in life.
The four-time F1 Grand Prix winner's new yacht is the definition of luxury, a cutting-edge boat with top speeds of 48 knots and enough space to carry 14 people.
The 62ft vessel has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen and a remarkable upper deck living area.

Just like Russell's F1 car, the boat also packs a punch with twin MAN V12 1550mhp engines.
Meanwhile the bow of the boat has a huge plush area for Russell and his pals to lounge in the sun when they're out on the water enjoying their time away from the track.
And the rear is fit with a garage in case anyone was hoping to bring their jet ski along with them for a change of pace on the water.
Pershing are clearly not a company who shy away from treating their customers either, as Russell recently attended the brand's 40th anniversary party in Capri - sipping on champagne and taking in the views of a private drone show.

Russell could be in good stead to grow his yacht collection in the future as he looks set to pen a new and improved contract with Mercedes.
The 27-year old is out of contract next year and has expressed his hope to stay with the team in the future amid speculation of a potential move for Max Verstappen from Red Bull to Mercedes.

Speaking ahead of the British Grand Prix earlier this month, he said: "I want to continue with Mercedes into the future. Toto [Wolff] has never let me down, has always given me his word.
'He's also got to do what's right for his team, which includes me and the thousands of people who work for Mercedes.
'For me it's nothing to worry about, as I don't think I'll be going anywhere, and whoever my team-mate is doesn't concern me either, so I'll just focus on the driving.
'It'll happen when the time is right. I expect in the next couple of weeks. But we'll need to wait and see.
'There hasn't been a lack of interest, let's say. But I've been focused on my side, I am loyal to Mercedes.
'The likelihood I'm not at Mercedes next year is exceptionally low.'

He was cleared twice over the texting scandal but is now on gardening leave." A source close to the situation alleges that Horner walked into the London meeting completely unaware of his impending fate. He was purportedly "dumbfounded" upon learning he had been sacked, with a family friend stating that Horner thought he was there to discuss a different matter. While Horner's future in F1 remains uncertain, his achievements haven't gone unnoticed by Max Verstappen, who expressed gratitude to his former boss in a heartfelt social media post. The heavyweight stars clashed at Wembley on Saturday night in front of over 90,000 fans. Usyk dominated most of the bout with his sharp jabs and swift movement. Dubois had his moments - notably in the fourth round - as he sought to level the series. However, the Ukrainian put an end to the rivalry in the fifth round when he knocked 'Triple D' down with a counter right. Dubois managed to beat the count before being sent tumbling to the canvas again with a savage left hand just seconds later - prompting the referee to call off the fight. Over the years, the 27-year-old has faced accusations of quitting fights, and these claims resurfaced on Saturday night. However, these allegations were swiftly dismissed after video appeared online showing the Brit's team throwing in the towel moments before the referee ended the scrap, reports All Out Fighting. To their annoyance, only designated vehicles had been granted entry into Wembley Stadium - which shockingly meant that both Dubois and his dad had to walk to the stadium entrance from the car park. The drama didn't stop there, though. When they finally arrived, a large portion of Dubois' group were denied entry. Stan allegedly then told security that his son wouldn't continue without them. When is Daniel Dubois' next fight? Whether the constant delays on the day of the fight affected Dubois' performance remains to be seen. As for what's next for the young Brit, his promoter Frank Warren has advised 'Triple D' to take six months off and learn from Usyk's mental resilience if he wants to make it back to the top. Warren stated: "You've got to learn from defeats, I mean that's what life's about, isn't it? You know, not everything goes your way, you got to come back, it's the mark of a man if he can do it, and we'll see if he could do it. "He's got to resurrect himself. That's what we've had to do. That's the story. Usyk a quality, quality fighter, he has a great boxing IQ, and he's got the most unbelievable mental attitude. That's what makes him. That's what Daniel's got to learn from. Try and get and develop the mental attitude that Usyk has."

New Racing Bulls F1 team boss ‘shocked' after ‘amazing' promotion
Alan Permane admitted he was 'shocked' after being announced as Racing Bulls' new team principal following Christian Horner 's exit at Red Bull. The domino effect of Horner being relieved of his duties saw Laurent Mekies – formerly RB team principal – promoted to Red Bull F1 CEO. Permane, who was previously racing director at RB, is now the team boss. The 58-year-old was previously with Alpine, in all its previous guises including championship-winning seasons with Benetton and Renault, for 34 years before being let go in July 2023. The engineer joined Racing Bulls at the start of last season. 'It's amazing that they feel I'm capable and have the potential to lead this team. 'I deeply thank the Red Bull Austria senior management, Oliver Mintzlaff and Helmut Marko, and of course Laurent for recommending me, pushing me forward, his belief in me as well. It's been a great week.' Racing Bulls are currently seventh in the constructors' championship and have two young talents in Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar in the cockpit. Yuki Tsunoda was previously with the team for four years before being promoted in March to replace Lawson, dropped by Red Bull after just two races. 'It's a great team and I know that the senior Red Bull guys are extremely happy with the way the team is being run,' Permane added. 'They're very happy with our competitiveness. 'The target is to be top of the midfield, and we are certainly in a battle for that and we'll continue that fight throughout this year.' The next race of the 2025 season is the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend (25-27 July).
