Erika Christensen's career timeline
Erika Christensen's journey in Hollywood kicked off pretty early, even featuring in Michael Jackson's "Childhood" music video back in 1995 when she was just twelve. She never actually got to meet the King of Pop on set though, as they were green-screened together for the video.
Her big moment arrived in 2000 with her captivating portrayal of Caroline Wakefield, a teenage drug addict, in Steven Soderbergh's acclaimed film
Traffic
.
The role really put her on the map, earning her an MTV Movie Award for Breakthrough Female Performance and a Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble cast. People magazine even named her one of their "Breakthrough Stars of 2001".
After Traffic, Erika kept busy with a mix of film roles, diving into everything from teen thrillers like Swimfan (2002) to comedies such as The Banger Sisters (2002) and The Perfect Score (2004).
She also explored dramatic and thriller territory in films like Flightplan (2005), How to Rob a Bank (2007), The Tortured (2010), and more recently, The Case for Christ (2017), KIMI (2022), and Cheaper by the Dozen (2022).
Erika's television career has been equally varied. She had early guest spots on popular shows like Frasier, The Practice, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and That '70s Show.
A significant chapter of her TV career was playing Julia Braverman-Graham in the beloved NBC family drama Parenthood from 2010 to 2015, a role for which she won a Gracie Award in 2014.
She also appeared in shows like Six Degrees (2006-2007), Wicked City (2015), and Ten Days in the Valley (2017).
Currently, you can catch her starring as Angie Polaski in the ABC series Will Trent, which premiered in 2023.

Paige Spiranac reveals every single bit of cosmetic surgery she's had after ‘a lot of speculation' about boob job

PAIGE SPIRANAC has revealed all the plastic surgery she has had on her body, admitting there have been a lot of changes. The golf beauty is not short of admirers on social media, with four million followers on her Instagram page alone. 6 Paige Spirinac has lifted the lid on her plastic surgery procedures Credit: INSTAGRAM @_paige.renee 6 In a fan Q&A she said she has not had work done to her body Credit: INSTAGRAM @_paige.renee 6 However, she has had several procedures on her face in the last nine or so years Credit: INSTAGRAM @_paige.renee 6 These include a nose job and general facial rejuvenation Credit: INSTAGRAM @_paige.renee 6 She has also had veneers, botox and filler Credit: INSTAGRAM @_paige.renee 6 Paige has more than four million followers on Instagram Credit: The Mega Agency However, Paige has opened up on the cosmetic work she has had done to try and stay on top. Taking to her Instagram story in a candid Q&A with fans, Paige lifted the lid after a fan asked her about the truth behind her looks. The American said: "There's been a lot of speculation over the cosmetic work that I've had done, so let's be transparent right now. "Yes, my face and body do look different than when I first started doing this. "One I am older and two I am 50 pounds heavier but this is all the work I've had done over a nine-year span." Paige revealed she had had no work done to her body, with all of it being real. However, her face has had its share of procedures. She explained: "I've had my nose done and then I've had filler work done in the past, but I don't think I have any filler left in my face right now. "I've done Botox before [but] I don't have any botox in my face currently. "I'll just do my upper forehead and sometimes around my eyes. Paige Spiranac rival Claire Hogle turns heads in stunning outfit after wowing fans with skills on and off the course "These are two veneers, my teeth just never grew in properly there. "And I will do laser work for resurfacing and tightening, and that's all." That means there have been no secret surgeries across her time in the spotlight, something which is quite rare in the influencer sphere. According to the BBC, 27,462 cosmetic surgery procedures were conducted in the UK in 2024 - a five per cent rise on 2023 - with nine in ten of these surgeries being women. Boob jobs were the most popular treatment, followed by breast reduction surgery in second place. However, the figures indicate that much of the rise was driven by facial rejuvenation surgery, similar to what Paige admits to having had done.

Taylor Swift will release new album in weeks – with ‘superstar collaboration' as she talks about dropping hints 3yrs ago

Read on to find out what Taylor's boyfriend Travis Kelce had to say about their relationship as he gave his most revealing interview yet THE GREATEST SHOWGIRL Taylor Swift will release new album in weeks – with 'superstar collaboration' as she talks about dropping hints 3yrs ago TAYLOR SWIFT only completed her 149-date Eras Tour last December, by which time it had become the highest-grossing tour of all time. While she was criss-crossing the globe, she recorded and released The Tortured Poets Department, which was the best-selling album of 2024 — but instead of taking a break, she is already making a comeback. Advertisement 12 Taylor Swift sent her fans into meltdown when she announced her 12th studio album Credit: Getty 12 Taylor and Travis attend a friend's wedding last year Credit: The Mega Agency 12 A hint posted in October '24 of Miami Hard Rock Stadium seat section A12 (August 12) Credit: X/@TAYVISNATION 12 In orange on page 12, a date hint, in Eras Tour Book In the early hours of yesterday morning, she sent her fans into meltdown when she announced her 12th studio album will be called The Life Of A Showgirl, and will be released in the coming weeks. And it turns out she has spent years dropping Easter eggs — a term used for secret hints — about the record, including a heavy clue that fellow superstar Sabrina Carpenter has collaborated with her on a song. Taylor confirmed the forthcoming release in a teaser video from a podcast — set to be released at midnight tonight — which was recorded with her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother, fellow American footballer Jason. In the clip from their New Heights podcast, shared alongside the caption 'Posted at 12:12 on the 12th. Tay's 12th album is called . . . ' she said: 'This is my brand new album The Life Of A Showgirl.' Advertisement READ MORE ON TAYLOR SWIFT A.I'M TOO SEXY AI bot reveals most beautiful singer – with Taylor and Dua in the running The album artwork was blurred in the video, but she has updated all of her pages with the colour orange, having started teasing that would be the album's colour theme last year. She is now keeping the cover secret by obscuring it with an orange padlock on her website. Wearing orange outfits Taylor started dropping hints by wearing orange on night 12 of the European leg of her Eras tour, while performing in Lyon, France, last June. In November, she released her Eras Tour Book and was wearing orange on the 12th page. Advertisement Then on Monday, her official management and social media team @taylornation posted 12 images of the star wearing orange outfits from the tour, with the caption: 'Thinking about when she said 'See you next era . . .'.' All I started thinking of was how do I hint at things, how far is too far in advance? Can I hint at something three years in advance? Taylor And the final image notably featured her with Sabrina, from when they performed together in New Orleans last October. Travis Kelce flirts with Taylor Swift on New Heights podcast as music megastar makes major announcement Welcoming her on stage at the time, Taylor pretended to phone the Espresso singer and said: 'Put on some clothes and come down to the stadium.' Fans are now convinced Sabrina referenced that last week when she shared a photo of herself on Instagram with some washing and the caption: 'Go put on some clothes!' Advertisement In yet another Easter egg posted last October, Taylor hinted at the date she would announce the project. A snap shared online saw her standing in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium with a sign for seated section 'A12' visible — which fans believe is a reference to yesterday's date, August 12. Taylor first played a showgirl in her 2022 video for Bejeweled, which also featured burlesque performer Dita von Teese. She had previously suggested she likes to plant clues three years in advance. Advertisement During a 2021 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she said: 'All I started thinking of was, how do I hint at things, how far is too far in advance? 'Can I hint at something three years in advance? Can I even plan things out that far? I think I'm going to try to do it.' The new album is set to be a major return to the pop sound of her 2014 record 1989, and 2017's Reputation, both of which were created with hit Swedish producers and songwriters Max Martin and Shellback. Max is renowned for being one of the most successful songwriters ever, having worked on hits including Baby One More Time for Britney Spears, Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl and Blinding Lights for The Weeknd, as well as Shake It Off, Blank Space and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together for Taylor. Advertisement Shortly after the announcement yesterday morning, billboards in New York and Nashville took users to a Spotify playlist which featured 22 songs by Taylor, all of which have been made with Max and Shellback. However, fans are yet to be told when they will actually be able to get their hands on the new album. It is available to pre- order through her website, where it states the record will ship before October 13, but adds: 'This is not the release date, official release date to be announced.' Taylor is believed to have completed the record earlier this year, and last month The Sun revealed she had shot a music video in Los Angeles. Advertisement However, she has used a series of non-disclosure agreements for everyone involved in the album in a bid to keep details under wraps. 12 The cover of The Life of a Showgirl is covered with an orange padlock on her website Credit: Reuters 12 Taylor Swift Bejewelled music video hints at the title of her new album Credit: Youtube/@taylorswift 12 Taylor's team hinted at collaboration with Sabrina by posting 12 pics of Taylor in orange including this one Advertisement The record was created in secret and she has not been seen entering or leaving a recording studio since December 2023 — before The Tortured Poets Department was released. Taylor has become one of the most prolific musicians in pop since she released her self-titled debut in 2006. And music forecasters believe The Life Of A Showgirl will easily become the biggest-selling album of 2025 within its first week of release, due to the massive demand for the star. Bookmakers William Hill have already made her 1/3 odds-on favourite to be named International Artist Of The Year at next year's Brit Awards. Advertisement Taylor has sold more than 300million records worldwide, racked up 13 No1s on the UK album chart — overtaking Madonna's record of 12 in February — and has had 30 Top Ten singles, including four No1s. As well as her 11 studio albums released so far, she has put out four re-recorded versions after the rights to her back catalogue were bought against her will in 2019. However, in May she announced she had bought back the rights to her first six albums, ending the long-running legal wrangle. She wrote on her website: 'All of the music I've ever made now belongs to me. I've been bursting into tears of joy . . . ever since I found out this is really happening. 'To say this is my greatest dream come true is actually being pretty reserved about it. I can't thank you enough for helping to reunite me with this art that I've dedicated my life to, but have never owned until now. Advertisement 'I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away. 12 Taylor in orange lippy, in a teaser for Travis's New Heights podcast, posted at 12:12 on the 12th Credit: Instagram 12 Sabrina shared a photo of herself on Instagram with some washing and the caption: 'Go put on some clothes!' Not just in a, 'It's just for the kids' aspect.' Travis, who has been with Taylor for two years, said: 'I hadn't experienced somebody in the same shoes as me, having a partner who understands the scrutiny, understands the ups and downs of being in front of millions. That was very relatable, seeing how exhausted she would get after shows. I sort of made her a football fan. She is the most engulfed fan now Travis 'She may not think of herself as an athlete. She will never tell anyone that she is an athlete. 'But I've seen what she goes through. I've seen the amount of work that she puts on her body, it's mind-blowing.' Advertisement On how impressed he was during Taylor's record-breaking Eras Tour, he continued: 'You're doing a show for three hours with a lot of energy, bringing it every single song. That is arguably more exhausting than how much I put in on a Sunday, and she's doing it three, four, five days in a row. 'She is so good at mesmerising everybody and making everybody feel like it's an intimate situation. She's beautiful. She's up there making everyone feel at ease.' And he is enjoying the perks of being the boyfriend of a superstar singer, as he added: 'I get to be the plus one. I get to go and be that fan. Because I am a fan. And it's so cool that I get to experience her being that plus one for me on the football field. 'I sort of made her a football fan. She is the most engulfed fan now. Advertisement 'She knows what the injury reports look like. She understands what special situations are, third and short – all these things because she just naturally loves to hear about my job.' Travis said: 'Whenever I'm with her, it feels like we're just regular people. 'When there is not a camera on us, we're just two people that are in love. It happened very organically, even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked. We fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with. 'We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the f*** off.' Some of the treatments are costing THOUSANDS per go PRIME TIME These frozen in time celebs have barely aged a day – can you guess how much time has passed between their two pics? THE world of celebrity beauty is always full of intrigue, keeping us guessing and wondering how they do it. Recently, it seems some stars have uncovered the secret to slowing - or even reversing - the signs of ageing. Advertisement 23 Kris Jenner has been flaunting her youthful appearance lately Credit: Instagram/krisjenner 23 Mariah Carey turned 56 in March this year Credit: The Mega Agency 23 She recently revealed that she doesn't acknowledge the passage of time, including her birthday Credit: Getty Good genes and a healthy lifestyle play their part, but there may be more to the glow of our favourite celebs. From subtle touch-ups to more noticeable transformations, some age-defying celebrities have barely aged since their twenties. And to show just how frozen in time these celebrities truly are, we've included side-by-side photos of them at 20 and how they look today. Can you guess how many years there are between each pic? Skin specialist and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Ross Perry reveals what they might have had done - and how much it all costs. Advertisement Tyra Banks Supermodel Tyra Banks certainly knows how to strike a pose and steal the spotlight when it comes to working the cameras. At 51, she looks just as stunning as she did during her modelling days in 2000. Dr. Ross says: 'There's a reason Tyra Banks became a supermodel. 'Genetically blessed with striking facial features, though she has admitted to undergoing nose surgery in her younger years, Tyra still looks as incredible today as she did at 20. Advertisement 'Her skin remains completely flawless and virtually line-free. One factor that contributes to this is her skin type. Mariah Carey, 56, wears FOUR figure-hugging outfits and puts on leggy display as she headlines Brighton Pride 'Black skin tends to age more slowly and show fewer signs of aging compared to lighter skin tones, primarily due to a higher concentration of melanin. 'Melanin acts as a natural sunscreen, offering greater protection against sun damage, one of the biggest causes of premature aging. 'Also, darker skin typically has a thicker dermis and more compact collagen bundles, which contribute to its firmness and resilience over time." Advertisement 'While Tyra may have had subtle assistance to maintain her youthful appearance, it's clear that her genetics, smart skincare choices and likely a carefully curated tweakment routine have all played a role in preserving her iconic beauty.' Estimated cost of potential treatments: Botox: £1,050 a year (£350 per session, every four months) Profhilo: £950 for initial two sessions, with top-ups at £475 every 4-6 months Fractional Ablative Laser Skin Resurfacing: £2,250 for three initial sessions, plus maintenance Regular Facials: £2,400+ a year (£200+ a month) TOTAL COST OVER 31 YEARS: £161,150 Lindsay Lohan 23 Actress Lindsay Lohan pictured back when she was 20-years-old in 2006 Credit: Getty 23 Lindsay Lohan seen at 'Live with Kelly and Mark' in Hudson Square on July 28, 2025 Credit: GC Images Advertisement 23 Lindsay Lohan at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in 2025 Credit: Getty Answer: 19 years She starred in Freaky Friday where she swapped lives with her mum, but it seems Lindsay Lohan has mastered the art of barely aging in real life. At 39, she's undergone the ultimate glow-up, looking like she is turning back the clock. Dr Ross Perry explains: 'In the last 18 months, Lindsay Lohan has undergone the ultimate glow-up, looking even better now than she did 20 years ago. She appears more radiant, more refreshed, and more polished. Advertisement 'While Lindsay has firmly denied undergoing plastic surgery, she has openly credited her skincare regime and a few advanced aesthetic treatments for her transformation. "Among her favourites? IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) laser facials, which help to brighten the skin and reduce pigmentation for a clearer, more even complexion. "She's also a fan of Morpheus8, a cutting-edge treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production, tighten skin, and improve texture. These are said to include a nose job, eyelid surgery, Botox, fillers, a facelift, dental enhancements, and cheek implants Dr. Ross Perry 'Lindsay's porcelain skin tone and natural freckles mean she has always had to be extra careful with sun exposure. Advertisement "It's likely that daily SPF protection has been a staple in her skincare routine since childhood. "Being fair-skinned, she would be particularly prone to sun damage and premature ageing, so avoiding the sun and investing in skin protection has clearly paid off. 'If you look back at Lindsay in her 20s, there was a period when she appeared to overindulge in cosmetic treatments, most notably lip fillers, cheek fillers, and Botox. "However, her current look is a masterclass in subtle tweakments. Any previous overuse appears to have been dialled back and refined, giving her a much more balanced and natural appearance. Advertisement 'The biggest rumour surrounding her transformation? A full facelift, although this has been fiercely denied. "Should this have taken place, it would typically cost anywhere between £12,000 and £30,000+, depending on the extent of the surgery and the surgeon's expertise.' Estimated cost of potential treatments: Morpheus8: £1,485 - £1,980 for initial sessions (£495 per session, 3-4 sessions), plus maintenance Subtle Botox: £960 a year (£400+ per session, every 5 months) Lip Enhancement: £700+ IPL Laser Facials: £1,360 - £2,040 a year (£170 per session, a series of 4-6 sessions twice a year) TOTAL COST OVER 19 YEARS: £68,590 Kris Jenner 23 Kris Jenner showing her original face in throwback pics around the year of 1988 Credit: Instagram/Kris Jenner Advertisement 23 Wrinkless Kris Jenner pouting for new Kylie Cosmetics promo more recently Credit: Instagram/Kylie Cosmetics Answer: 49 years Kris Jenner has always been the ultimate matriarch, but at 69, she arguably looks better than ever. Kris has built her look alongside the Kardashian empire, where beauty and speculation go hand in hand. Dr Ross Perry explains: 'Kris Jenner arguably looks the best she ever has, fresh-faced, polished and, yes, noticeably different from how she appeared two decades ago. Advertisement 'While the shift in her appearance can certainly be attributed to a skilled surgeon and a team of top-tier aesthetic experts, it's also a testament to the Kardashian brand itself. "After all, few families have built an empire on beauty, speculation, and reinvention quite like the Kardashians, and perhaps nothing captures public attention more than the 'has she or hasn't she?' conversation around cosmetic work. 'To Kris's credit, she's been fairly open about dabbling in aesthetic treatments, and it's been widely reported that she has spent upwards of half a million pounds on procedures over the years. 'These are said to include a nose job, eyelid surgery, Botox, fillers, a facelift, dental enhancements, and cheek implants. Her most recent procedure, a deep plane facelift, reportedly cost around £100,000 alone. Advertisement 'But keeping up with Kris is a full-time commitment. Her current glow is said to be maintained through a mix of advanced non-surgical treatments, including:' Estimated cost of potential treatments: Deep Plane Facelift: £100,000 Botox: £960+ per year (£400+ per session, every 5 months) Fillers: £1,500 - £3,000 annually Dental Enhancements: £20,000 - £50,000 Cheek Implants: £5,000+ Non-surgical skin treatments (e.g., laser facials, Morpheus8): £5,000 - £10,000 annually TOTAL COST OVER 49 YEARS: £664,790 Mariah Carey 23 Mariah Carey poses for a portrait in 1990 in New York City, New York Credit: Getty 23 Mariah Carey pictured more recently as fan constantly praise the singer for her enviable looks Credit: INSTAGRAM Advertisement Answer: 36 Mariah Carey, the ultimate diva, has perfected her signature look over the years, barely changing despite the passing decades. At 56, she continues to radiate glamour, with her youthful appearance sparking rumours of subtle cosmetic enhancements. Known for her extravagant lifestyle - complete with beauty treatments like bathing in milk and hiring masseuses for hours-long pampering sessions - Mariah's approach to self-care is nothing short of iconic. Dr Ross Perry explains: 'Mariah Carey's signature look has barely changed over the years. Advertisement She has no doubt used Botox to fill out her lines, done in a way that lifts her eyes rather than making them droop Dr. Ross Perry 'Yes, there has been weight loss and weight gain, which has resulted in more of a rounded and puffy face in appearance, often leading to speculation of the overuse of fillers and rumours of a breast enlargement. "However, the procedures Mariah has no doubt done have been carefully and subtly executed. 'She is, after all, the ultimate diva, with rumours suggesting she uses milk as a beauty treatment and once allegedly paid a masseuse $1,500 (£1,144) to massage her for eight hours while she slept. "These rumours only add fuel to her brilliant 'diva qualities.' Advertisement 'I don't doubt she looks after her body with a daily personal trainer, private chef, and leads a healthy lifestyle - all contributing factors to ageing well. "I'd also say she stays out of the sun, but equally, as she has such few lines, she has no doubt used Botox to fill out her lines, done in a way that lifts her eyes rather than making them droop. 'Other than that, she may have possibly had some filler to keep the youthful cheeks nice and full-looking - very much a signature of Mariah's - and then, alongside this, likely laser resurfacing on the skin and possibly Profhilo.' Estimated cost of potential treatments: Advertisement Botox: £400 every 4-5 months Profhilo: £475 per session Fillers: £400+ Laser skin resurfacing treatment: £170 per session TOTAL COST OVER 36 YEARS: £116,280 Cher 23 Entertainer Cher poses for a portrait wearing a fur coat in circa 1966 Credit: Getty 23 Cher is a 80-year-old icon of the stage and screen who still looks flawless today Credit: Getty Answer: 60 years Cher has always been the queen of reinvention, defying age and gravity with her timeless beauty and iconic silhouette. At nearly 80, she still turns heads, proving that age is just a number. Advertisement Known for her openness about cosmetic enhancements, Cher has reportedly spent over £500,000 on procedures and treatments to maintain her youthful glow – a testament to her commitment to looking and feeling her best. Dr Ross Perry explains: 'Cher has long defied the rules of ageing and gravity, and at nearly 80, she still turns heads with her youthful glow and unmistakable silhouette. 'While she's never shied away from discussing her love of cosmetic enhancement, it's estimated that the global superstar has spent over £500,000 on plastic surgery and aesthetic treatments over the years. 'Among the most widely reported procedures are multiple facelifts, several breast augmentations, regular Botox and lip fillers, rhinoplasty, and potentially cheek implants - though Cher has always fiercely denied this rumour. Advertisement 'For someone nearing 80, the fullness in Cher's cheeks is unusual. At that age, most people experience significant facial volume loss. In her case, this is likely the result of fat transfer or dermal filler rather than implants. 'To maintain her smooth, glowing skin, it is also likely that Cher regularly undergoes skin rejuvenation treatments, including laser and light-based therapies every 6-8 weeks. "Considering that around 80% of visible skin ageing is caused by sun exposure, it's safe to assume Cher stays out of the sun entirely and wouldn't dream of leaving the house without a high SPF.' Her glow, poise, and confidence are undeniable, and her appearance remains remarkably natural. Advertisement While her weight has fluctuated over the decades, giving her face a fuller or more chiselled look at different times, her skin remains smooth, luminous, and impressively youthful. Dr Ross Perry explains: 'A key factor in Oprah's graceful ageing is her genetics. 'As often noted, Black skin typically ages more slowly than lighter skin tones, largely thanks to a higher concentration of melanin, which acts as a natural sunscreen. "Melanin offers enhanced protection against sun damage, one of the primary causes of premature ageing. It's unclear whether Oprah has ever gone under the knife, and if she has, it's been done with such subtlety that it escapes obvious detection. "Her overall look is likely a mix of excellent skincare, clever makeup artistry, and naturally good skin. 'That said, it would be reasonable to suggest that Oprah may opt for small amounts of Botox, particularly around the eye area to prevent crow's feet, along with occasional laser or light-based facials to treat pigmentation, thread veins and to maintain an even skin texture.' At 60, she seems to have unlocked the secret to ageing gracefully, blending natural beauty with a touch of aesthetic enhancement. While genetics undoubtedly play a role - her mother has aged beautifully - it's clear that Liz works hard to maintain her slim, toned physique, which could easily rival someone in their late 20s. Her thick, glossy hair, always expertly styled, completes her polished yet effortlessly youthful appearance. Advertisement Speculation around a facelift is ongoing, and while nothing has been confirmed, if she has had one, it's been expertly executed Dr. Ross Perry Dr. Ross Perry explains: 'Certainly, genetics play a part in Liz's age-defying look. 'Her mother has aged beautifully and Liz has clearly inherited those attributes. But there's also no denying that she works hard to maintain her physique. "Her slim, toned frame, often a key marker of youth, combined with her signature thick, glossy hair, gives her an effortlessly youthful vibe. 'One of Liz's most recognisable features has become her plump lips, a shape that was far less prominent during her early days in the spotlight, such as when she dated Hugh Grant. Advertisement "This suggests she may have had regular lip filler, but it's been beautifully balanced and proportionate, enhancing her natural beauty without overpowering her features. 'Speculation around a facelift is ongoing, and while nothing has been confirmed, if she has had one, it's been expertly executed. "In today's world, it's less about whether someone has had work and more about how well it's been done. And in Liz's case, the result is subtle, elegant, and natural. 'To maintain her youthful glow, Liz is likely to rely on a mix of non-surgical aesthetic treatments, such as Botox to soften fine lines, dermal fillers to restore volume and Profhilo to deeply hydrate and improve skin elasticity. "Upper eyelid surgery is another possibility, as it's a straightforward yet effective procedure for lifting sagging lids, commonly affected by age.' At 56, JLo is the perfect example of how hard work, commitment, and a touch of clever beauty tricks can defy the ageing process. Advertisement While her natural beauty and genetics play a role, her dedication to self-care ensures she remains as radiant as ever. Dr Ross Perry explains: 'First and foremost, JLo has been blessed with natural beauty and great genes. An inexpensive yet effective moisturiser, particularly for tackling fine lines under the eyes. Dr. Ross Perry 'Her olive skin tone also gives her a natural advantage when it comes to ageing. "Olive skin contains more melanin, the pigment responsible for skin colour, which provides a natural layer of protection against sun damage, a major contributor to premature ageing. Advertisement 'But genetics can only go so far. Jennifer is famously committed to self-care. "She reportedly eats a clean, unprocessed diet full of oily fish, leafy greens, and hydration-boosting foods. "She avoids caffeine and alcohol, two known accelerators of ageing, and likely benefits from a private chef who crafts meals rich in vitamins and antioxidants. 'Her workout regime is also a key part of her youthful glow. She exercises vigorously to maintain a toned physique and promote overall wellness. Advertisement "Given her skin type, it's likely JLo is careful about sun exposure, opting to get her daily dose of Vitamin D without overexposing her skin to UV rays, another major factor in skin ageing. 'Despite her natural appearance, it is likely JLo has had some subtle tweakments over the years. "These could include a small amount of Botox around the eyes, frown lines, and forehead, always with a light touch. "Some soft filler in the cheeks, where we tend to lose volume with age, could also be part of the equation. Advertisement 'Other non-invasive treatments she may use include Profhilo, an injectable that deeply hydrates the skin and laser therapy to treat pigmentation and improve texture. 'Her daily skincare routine is likely meticulous. It may include a gentle cleanser, a Vitamin C serum in the morning, retinol at night, and a high-quality SPF every single day. "She's also been quoted as using olive oil on her skin, rich in antioxidants and vitamins, which is a natural way to lock in moisture and support the skin barrier. 'Interestingly, she's also rumoured to use Aquaphor, an inexpensive yet effective moisturiser, particularly for tackling fine lines under the eyes.'
