I know, it sounds way too good to be true — but I assure you it's the real deal. In fact, I'm gonna take you through the process of building your own kit (and share what products I'm picking because why not?!).
1. First and foremost, you'll ~pucker up~ and pick out a lip product, aka your new signature lippie. 💋

You'll want to start by selecting the type of lip product you want: lip balm gloss (great for a more everyday look), plumping lip oil (extra glossy hydration), lip plump/lip plump gloss, lift liner, or their ultra-shiny lip vinyl gloss — and then choose your preferred shade and whether you want a sparkly or solid color. I'm totes choosing this sparkly peach lip plump so I can live out my dream of being a mermaid princess. The light pink shade is so perfect for spring and summertime, and I just love how it ✨shimmers ✨ in the light. Not to mention, it feels like a creamy lip balm while ~doing the work~ to give me a thick, luscious pout.
2. Up next, choose something to accentuate your cheeks, be it blush, bronzer, highlighter, or contour tape...whatever will define your cheekbones like a movie star, y'know?

And in terms of blush, there's multiple kinds: Amazonian clay blush, liquid blush, satin plumping blush, or silk stick blush. I've been a long-time fan of their 12-hour Amazonian clay blush, which adds a subtle rosy pop to my cheeks all day long.
I'm going to try something different with the Maneater Silk Stick Blush. It'll still give me the natural, everyday kind of look I tend to go for, only it seems easier and more luxurious to apply than clay blush. Also, I'm sure my dry skin is gonna love the antioxidant-packed triple oil blend.

Oh, and BTW, I'm going for the neutral Buff shade (my complexion is pretty similar to the model they're showing it on, and I also have blue eyes and brown hair). I want that ~sun-kissed~ look even on days I don't get outside much.
3. Now, on to the eyes, aka the ~windows to your soul~. Pick carefully if you want to enchant your soulmate. 😉

The choices are plentiful in this stage with an eye highlight pen (for when you need to convince folks you got enough sleep last night), a fine brow pencil, a brow pencil and gel, dual-ended eyeliner stick, a highlighting eye and cheek palette, and of course, a few different eye shadow palettes. As much as I love Tarte's chocolate-y smelling palettes, I'm going with their best-selling Double Take eyeliner. I've always been a fan of easy-to-apply pen eyeliners, and this lets me choose from liquid or gel formulas — or use both for extra drama! Best of all, it's waterproof and won't smudge (even as I inevitably cry listening to an emotional story on The Moth Podcast).

4. Can you believe we're practically halfway through? Well, we are, and things are about to get ~complex-ion~. You've got some tough decisions in this section with various options for foundation, concealer, tinted moisturizer, and pressed face powder — and you can only pick one. 😩

The Shape Tape creamy concealer is quite popular, offering full matte-finish coverage with built-in eye cream for 24-hour moisturizing. Or, you can give your skin an extra boost of love with the skincare-infused creaseless creamy concealer, which features caffeine, niacinamide, cloudberry, and more. The Face Tape foundation is a great choice if you're seeking to cover up blemishes and even out your skintone without weighing it down. But if those aren't calling to you, there are lots more options to choose from.
With the days getting longer and sunnier, the BB Blur Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30 is pretty much a no-brainer for someone like me (aka someone who loves being outside but also burns after .002 seconds in the sun). Nothing I love more than makeup that's also skincare. 😊

Even though it packs in the hydration and sun protection, it offers a matte finish, unlike most sunscreens (and even some moisturizers). According to one reviewer, it "goes on like silk" and another says it "leaves [their] skin feeling soft", which is enough to convince me.
5. Moving on to ~la pièce de résistance~ of any make-up look: mascara.
