Nothing's new CMF smartwatch boasts of dual-band GPS and ChatGPT integration

TL;DR Nothing's CMF Watch Pro 3 upgrades include a larger AMOLED display, better sensors, and longer battery life.
AI features like post-workout summaries and ChatGPT integration boost usefulness during workouts.
The CMF Watch Pro 3 has launched globally at $99, but you might be able to pick it up at a discounted price of $79.
There are plenty of fitness trackers in the market, including those that resemble the shape of a smartwatch. Nothing entered this market with its CMF Watch Pro, followed by the CMF Watch Pro 2 last year. Now, the company is refreshing its offering with the new CMF Watch Pro 3.
The CMF Watch Pro 3 looks much like the Watch Pro 2, thanks to the 1.43-inch AMOLED display with Always On Display support, the metal body, and silicone straps. Users will appreciate the slightly larger display, up from 1.32-inch on the Watch Pro 2, as that brings along a 10% improvement in the screen-to-body ratio.
This year, there are three finishes and strap color combinations: Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange. The company also boasts over 120 custom watch faces, so you can personalize your watch to your liking.
Another area where the CMF Watch Pro 3 improves upon its predecessor is its support for a dual-band five-system GPS setup for faster and more accurate route tracking. It also features a new four-channel heart rate sensor with improved accuracy across all skin tones and workout intensities. Battery life is also claimed to have increased, now claiming up to 13 days with typical use, a two-day increase from the Pro 2. A full charge is said to take 99 minutes.
Nothing is also proud of the new AI-powered post-workout summary feature, which helps break down your performance with helpful guidance on recovery time, training load, and even 5K/10K endurance predictions. It also features automatic tracking for seven core activities.
It wouldn't be a current-generation product if it didn't also support AI assistants, so Nothing blessed the Watch Pro 3 with ChatGPT integration. Thanks to it, you can interact with OpenAI's digital assistant using natural-language voice prompts as long as your phone is nearby. The Watch Pro 3 also features a built-in voice recorder with auto-transcription, and an Essential News tool that delivers daily news digests. It's not immediately clear if you need a Nothing phone to access these software features — accessing ChatGPT on the Watch Pro 2 required pairing with a Nothing or CMF phone.
The CMF Watch Pro 3 retains its predecessor's IP68 dust and water resistance rating. Other features include blood oxygen monitoring (SpO2), stress tracking, guided breathing exercises, hydration and inactivity reminders, and women's health support. An additional microphone has also been added to improve call pickup for Bluetooth calling.
Nothing says that all CMF smartwatches are transitioning to the Nothing X app, which lets users manage their Nothing audio products and watches in one app. The app also supports Strava, Apple Health, and Google Health Connect integrations.

Tesla Stumbles, but Elon Musk Gets a Massive Payday

Key Points Tesla's sales are struggling in key markets overseas. Consumer backlash from Elon Musk's political stance is real. These 10 stocks could mint the next wave of millionaires › Unless you've been purposely hiding from the news -- which would be understandable -- you know that investors in Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) have had plenty to digest. Between allegations Tesla isn't paying its bills and hurting small businesses, to facing consumer backlash from CEO Elon Musk's political tour (and we can't forget the sliding sales and global profits), it's been a full downpour. Let's consider the recent speed bumps, as well as Musk being rewarded with a hefty $29 billion payday. The overseas spiral July figures are seeping in from Europe, and they show that Tesla registrations checked in 41.6% lower compared to the prior year, despite sales of electric vehicles (EVs) surging across the Continent. It's a continuation of the sales spiral the EV maker faced during the first half of 2025. And the problem is that the decline was supposedly due to the new Model Y being in limited supply -- but the issues appear to be deeper than that. The story is similar in China, another crucial market for Tesla. Its sales of China-made EVs dropped 8.4% in July compared to the prior year. That was a reversal from the small gain Tesla posted in June, which at the time reversed an eight-month losing streak. The consumer backlash The consumer displeasure is real, and Musk's political allegiances have pushed some buyers to new and different brands. There's evidence of the effect this is having on Tesla's once-spotless brand image, according to new data from S&P Global Mobility, which tracks sales data across the automotive industry. The new data, shared with Reuters, showed that Tesla's consumer loyalty took a nosedive in July 2024, correlating with Musk's public commitment to an anti-environmental political campaign. According to Reuters, Tesla's loyalty peaked at 73% in June 2024 before bottoming out in March at 49.9%. No matter how you slice it, that's a quick and dramatic decline in consumer sentiment, literally driving buyers to another brand. A massive payday Tesla's board granted Musk 96 million shares, worth roughly $29 billion, in an attempt to keep the billionaire focused on the EV company amid his multiple businesses and ventures. The vote comes after a 2024 Delaware court ruling that voided Musk's 2018 compensation package, which was valued at over $50 billion. The court said the approval process was flawed and unfair to shareholders. According to Automotive News, the special committee that was formed to consider the new pay package said: "While we recognize Elon's business ventures, interests and other potential demands on his time and attention are extensive and wide-ranging ... we are confident that this award will incentivize Elon to remain at Tesla." What it all means Tesla and its investors certainly appear to be at a crossroads. While selling EVs and zero-emission credits keeps the lights on for the young company, it constantly reminds investors that its future may be more in line with artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and robotaxi services. Long-term investors should stay the course but should also prepare for a bumpy few quarters as the company works through its upcoming identity crisis, the slow ramp-up of the robotaxi, and an aging lineup. Elon Musk Turns His AI Chatbot Into a Male Fantasy Engine

Elon Musk has always been the biggest hype man for his own companies. Whether it's Tesla, SpaceX, or X (formerly Twitter), the world's richest man personally takes to social media to promote new features, products, and ideas. His AI venture, xAI, is no exception. Over the past week, Musk has been flooding X with posts promoting Grok Imagine, the new image-and-video-generation feature in SuperGrok, the most advanced version of xAI's Grok chatbot. But the images Musk chooses to showcase say as much about the intended audience as they do about the technology. Instead of highlighting landscapes, futuristic tech concepts, or abstract art, Musk's posts overwhelmingly feature sexualized AI-generated women: scantily clad warriors, lingerie models, leather-clad dominatrices, and bikini-clad beachgoers. Many are posed in ways that lean on well-worn male fantasies: dominance and submission, BDSM aesthetics, and the 'vulnerable beauty' trope. Added prompt 'Turn around' to the source picture and created a video from the other direction — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) August 7, 2025Since August 2, Musk's X account has become a catalog of Grok-generated softcore. Video created by Grok Imagine! — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) August 7, 2025Musk's choices aren't random. He's a cult figure in parts of the manosphere, the online ecosystem of male influencers and communities that promote traditional or exaggerated masculine ideals. In that world, sexualized imagery, fantasy dominance, and 'idealized' femininity are cultural currency. By repeatedly showcasing these types of AI women, Musk appears to be speaking directly to that audience. This isn't the first time AI tools have been criticized for reflecting the biases of their creators or promoters. But in the high-stakes AI race, Musk and xAI seem comfortable making Grok Imagine a product that caters openly to a male-heavy user base. In the war for chatbot dominance, they're betting on an old internet truth: sex sells, especially to men. Even Grok's official account leaned into the marketing on August 2, commenting on one of Musk's posts: 'Thanks for showcasing Grok's video animation! Excited for the audio iteration update,' the chatbot account posted. 'It'll unlock even more creative possibilities. What scene should we animate next?' Thanks for showcasing Grok's video animation! Excited for the audio iteration update—it'll unlock even more creative possibilities. What scene should we animate next? — Grok (@grok) August 2, 2025The message was clear: Grok Imagine is about AI fantasy. And right now, that fantasy looks tailor-made for Musk's most loyal male fans.
