Authorities in Gaza have accused Israel of turning aid centers into 'deadly traps' and using food as a weapon of war.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, 11 people were killed and several others wounded in Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas in the Gaza Strip, including gunfire near an aid distribution center west of Rafah.
WAFA quoted medical sources as saying that five people, including two young girls, were killed in an Israeli drone strike on displaced persons' tents in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. Another girl died from injuries sustained in an earlier Israeli strike on Khan Younis.
In Rafah, four civilians were killed and 70 others wounded by Israeli fire near an aid center in the western part of the city. Elsewhere, one person was killed and others wounded by Israeli gunfire near a distribution point at the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) had warned on Saturday that the current aid distribution model in Gaza is ineffective and "amounts to inviting people to their deaths."

Watch: Arson at a synagogue in Jerusalem

The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported a fire that broke out at the synagogue of Israel's former Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef in Jerusalem, with authorities suspecting it was arson. Israeli Interior Minister Moshe Arbel commented, saying, "The attempted burning of Rabbi Yosef's synagogue is a frightening incident and an assault on a national symbol." Meanwhile, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir noted, "The scenes of the synagogue being set on fire and the swastika drawn are shocking. This event is concerning, carries anti-Semitic characteristics, and must not be tolerated."

Israeli Drone Attack Claims One Civilian in Shehabiyeh Town, South Lebanon

The Israeli enemy continued on Sunday its attacks on Lebanon and its sovereignty, launching a drone raid on a motorcycle on the Shehabiyeh-Kfardounin highway in south Lebanon. This comes as Israeli attacks and violations continue across Lebanon, two days after a major airstrike targeted Beirut's southern suburbs, causing damage that displaced hundreds of families. A preliminary count conducted by the Beirut Reconstruction Committee showed that the attack completely destroyed nine buildings, while 71 buildings were damaged by Israeli shelling, in addition to 50 cars and 177 businesses. Also on Sunday, the southern suburbs of Beirut (Dahiyeh) witnessed intense reconnaissance aircraft activity at a medium altitude.
