Best achievements in salad: Behold the 2025 All Hockey Hair Team
The pinnacle of Minnesota high school hockey has arrived. No, we're not talking about winning the state tournament. It's being recognized for Best Achievements in Salad.
Pulltab Sports has released its annual All Hockey Hair Team, and there's no shortage of flowing lettuce in its Oscar-themed, pun-rich video, subtitled "There's No Business Like Flow Business."
The video is packed with mullets, bleach blonde dye jobs, skaters snapping into a Slim Jim, managers dressed up as Harry and Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber, and a Hibbing team likened to the backstage of a Poison concert.
The 2025 edition showcases how popular the salon portion of the tournament has become, with cameos from mullet-wielding Minnesota-born comedian Nick Swardson, Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, actor Fred Armisen (SNL, Portlandia), broadcaster and 2024 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Jeremy Roenick, and NHL prospects and current Gophers Brodie Ziemer and Beckett Hendrickson.Players featured in the video get a care package that includes an All Hockey Hair Team hat and products from Minnesota-based men's haircare company Duke Cannon.
The All Hockey Hair Team doesn't just showcase locks, however. It also raises money for the Hendrickson Foundation, which supports sled, special, military, and blind and deaf hockey programs in the state.

'Catherine has been nothing but supportive of her husband – and that's exactly why Prince William is so deeply hurt,' Schofield explained. 'His pain doesn't come from personal insults or headlines. It comes from his instinct to protect the woman he loves… But what cuts the deepest is Harry's treatment of Catherine. She's always loved him, always treated him like a little brother. That's the betrayal William won't forget… But Harry never seems to think about the consequences.' British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox New Digital that Middleton had been 'saddened' by the rift between the brothers. But she won't intervene. 'Catherine and Harry shared a fun humor and were often seen giggling together at events,' Chard explained. 'Sadly and upsettingly, Princess Catherine was dragged into the public negative narrative which was a real smack round the face for the kind sister-in-law who tried hard to be the peacemaker between the brothers.' Recent reports had indicated that, even though Middleton was upset at Harry's recent interview, she was trying to mediate between the brothers. 'Kate's deeply upset with Harry, but she's also frustrated that William and the rest of the family have allowed things to deteriorate this badly,' the insider said, adding that, 'It's heartbreaking for her to watch the family so publicly divided.' also reported that 'William is furious that Harry's speaking out again and doing interviews – he's convinced this isn't the end of it.' And Prince William has, therefore, given instructions to the rest of the family not to communicate with Harry. 'He's made it clear to the rest of the family that they should keep their distance from the Sussexes, because anything shared could be turned against them,' the report also said. According to Royal expert Hilary Fordwich, all of this only adds to the strained relationship between Middleton and Prince Harry, who used to be close. 'Princess Catherine and Prince Harry's relationship has dramatically deteriorated over recent years,' Fordwich claimed. 'There is a huge sense of betrayal and broader frustration, as well as a massive cultural clash. How Harry has changed under the influence of Meghan Markle has been baffling both to the royal family and beyond.' 'Catherine, in particular, is deeply wounded by Harry's media disclosures airing family grievances and betraying any family loyalty while dismissing royal values. Catherine was once the peacemaker between the feuding brothers. Brian Tyree Henry on how ‘Dope Thief' let him ‘reclaim' his name: ‘I was just Paper Boi to people,' and now ‘I became Brian again'
"Dope Thief allowed me to reclaim my name," says Brian Tyree Henry, the star and executive producer of the Apple TV+ limited series. The Oscar, Emmy, and Tony nominee tells Gold Derby, "I was just Paper Boi [from Atlanta] to people for quite a few years. And so with this one, I think that I became Brian again, and that is very special to me." Watch our full interview above. Henry plays Ray Driscoll on Dope Thief, a con artist who, along with his lifelong friend Manny Carvalho (Wagner Moura), robs from drug dealers by posing as DEA agents. Unfortunately, they steal from the wrong people, and mayhem ensues. The program is written by Peter Craig and based on the 2009 novel by Dennis Tafoya. "Everything that happens is absolutely terrible, but in the end, it's a fun ride," the actor recalls. "Being able to do this show with him was the greatest gift I've ever been given, honestly." On their first day on set, he recalls Moura pulling him aside and revealing that he was "really scared," to which Henry responded, "'Regardless of what goes on, I promise you I won't leave your side. We've got each other.' And from then on, we were just connected and locked in." Henry calls Dope Thief a "love story between these two friends who are more than friends. I don't even think the word 'friend' is appropriate. They've been through so much together. It's very easy to see series where it's a Black and Brown man paired together — violence, drugs, all the yahooey — but you never really get to the core of who they are. But these two men are afraid and vulnerable, and there is grief, there is regret." Apple TV+ Henry sees a connection between his roles as the lead actor and executive producer, and takes both positions seriously. "What I realized by being the star of the show and also the EP, is that there's this phrase that floats around on sets that says, 'It starts from the top.' Whoever is considered the top of the show, their tone dictates the rest of how the show goes and is felt. And so, in this particular project, I felt like being No. 1 on the call sheet meant that I set the tone, and I didn't want anything but joy." The tone of Dope Thief shifts between incredibly dramatic and hilariously light-hearted. "Even if I'm on the ground covered in blood with a hole in my leg, in between takes, we're going to get up, I'm going to play music, we're going to talk," says Henry. "Peter would let us improv all the time, which is my juice. I love it. I just always want to be truthful in where the characters are." Regardless of what happens at upcoming awards shows, Henry is happy that Dope Thief gave him room "to show people my range and that I'm not just one thing." He's already been nominated at the Gotham TV Awards for this project, and the Emmy nominations will be unveiled on July 15. "I don't ever win sh-t," he laughs. "It's cool, but I'm always so wrong about what I think people will recognize. Let me tell you something: I'm honored." Henry opens up about how the sixth episode, in which Ray was in a "delirium" after being shot, came on the heels "of a major loss in my life, when my father died." He explains, "This episode also dealt with Ray and his father [played by Ving Rhames] and all these different things, and I was like, you have got to be kidding. There is no way that you can make this up. It was incredibly cathartic. It is an episode that I truly, truly, truly love. It was incredibly hard to make, but at the end of the day, it was so rewarding." The actor is proud of all of his collaborations and has nothing but thanks for Craig. "I tell Peter all the time, thank you for putting dialogue like this in my mouth," he says, "and for allowing space for me to actually show all these different emotions that they normally just don't let us as Black actors play." What does Henry think his character will be up to five or 10 years in the future? "I hope that Ray is on a farm in a garden that he has procured somewhere in New Hope, Pa.," he says with a smile. "I hope that he makes candles, is in love with his mother [played by Kate Mulgrew], that they're running a shop. I really want him to wear cardigans, but I want him to really feel like he's free," Henry continues. "I think that freedom is the thing that he needs." Dope Thief is now streaming on Apple TV+. Amazon MGM Studios has shared trailer for its upcoming action comedy led by Oscar nominee Eddie Murphy (Beverly Hills Cop) and Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island). The R-rated movie is scheduled to make its debut on August 6, exclusively on Prime Video. 'In the film, a routine cash pickup takes a wild turn when two mismatched armored truck drivers, Russell (Murphy) and Travis (Davidson), are ambushed by ruthless criminals led by a savvy mastermind, Zoe, with plans that go way beyond the cash cargo. As chaos unfolds around them, the unlikely duo must navigate high-risk danger, clashing personalities, and one very bad day that keeps getting worse,' reads the official synopsis.
