Megyn Kelly Trashes Charlize Theron For Sleeping With A 26-Year-Old Man: 'Have Some Class'
Kelly slammed the actress as "vulgar" and "off-putting" for revealing such dalliances in public like that, adding that it's "inappropriate" and "feels weird."
Charlize Theron also caused quite a stir when she said celebrity attendees at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's Venice wedding "suck."
Kelly has taken aim at Theron after she revealed she recently slept with a 26-year-old man.
The Hollywood star, who's currently promoting her new film "The Old Guard 2," sat down with Alex Cooper on her "Call Her Daddy" podcast, where she revealed she recently had a one-night stand with an unidentified fellow.
"I did just recently f-ck a 26-year-old, and it was really amazing… I've never done that. And I was like, 'Oh, this is great.' Women should be the ones that are like, 'F-ck you, I'm going to have an orgasm,'" she said.
Theron's comment seemed to make Kelly uncomfortable, and the former Fox News host didn't hesitate to criticize her for making such a comment publicly.
"She decided to go on a podcast tour, for some reason, sat down with 'Call Her Daddy,' the sex podcaster who interviewed Kamala Harris, all about how much they love abortions," Kelly said during Thursday's episode of her SiriusXM podcast "The Megyn Kelly Show."
"And this is Charlize Theron trying to sound like [a] super cool girl, and I'm gonna let you decide for yourself whether that's what she accomplished," she continued, per the New York Post.
Kelly added, "She's 49 years old. She's trying to sound like she's 26 years old, and it's inappropriate. It feels weird. She's one of our biggest stars, that's true. Act like it… Have some class."
Kelly went further to share that Theron may be misrepresenting her sexuality and blowing her sexual encounters out of proportion for attention.
"I kind of call bullsh-t because I believe that Charlize Theron probably prefers women. That's my belief. Okay, I'm entitled to my opinion, and there's no reason to get into the details as to why I believe it, but I believe it," Kelly said.
"And I don't think that she's telling the truth about the 26-year-old," she added.
Theron's sexuality has long been a subject of debate among netizens, but the "Atomic Blonde" actress addressed the talks in a 2017 appearance on the Bravo television show "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen, where she was asked if she had "dipped in the lady pond."
"When I was young, yes," she told Cohen at the time. "I mean, it's just so not a big deal. I'm so old school — I really like dudes."
The 49-year-old went on to share that even though she'd previously explored her sexuality, she identifies as heterosexual and has offered supportive messages of bisexual visibility.
Kelly also took a jab at the actress for using profanity during her appearance on the show.
"I love a good F-bomb… But every sentence? An F-bomb? 'F in this, F in that, F in God,' what is that? This is like an affectation where she's trying to act like, again, young, cool girl, 'I get it, and I don't need a man,'" she said.
During her chat with Cooper, Theron also spoke on the freedom she feels raising her two adopted children without a male partner; however, Kelly wasn't having it at all.
"She's got two children. They don't need a father? She's super proud of the fact that there's no father in the picture? Great. Good for you," Kelly said. "It's a very strange thing to see one of our best-known actresses sit down like that, with the crossed legs, with this sex podcaster, talking about their orgasms and who they f'ed. It's just really off-putting."
Theron has been involved in several controversies recently, including when she ripped into Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's star-studded wedding in Venice.
Several A-list stars, including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Sydney Sweeney, graced the lavish nuptials, prompting the actress to diss them, saying the attendees "suck."
"I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding," Theron said while hosting the fifth annual Block Party for the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project last week.
"But that's okay because they suck and we're cool," she added jokingly, per The Blast.

2 DCU Movies Get Mixed Updates From James Gunn
James Gunn recently gave some updates about the status of The Authority and Swamp Thing DCU movies. What are the new DCU updates from James Gunn? Speaking to Josh Horowitz during a recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, Gunn gave a less-than-positive update on the status of The Authority. 'It's been rough for us,' Gunn said. 'I moved…the writer moved on to another project in the DCU that I think he's really killing right now.' Gunn wouldn't reveal what the other project was, but did say it was another movie set in the DCU. The Authority was one of the original projects announced by Gunn when DC Studios was first revealed. However, the project has remained up in the air ever since, with recent reports suggesting that the film has been moved to the 'back burner' of DC's slate. As for Swamp Thing, Gunn actually provided a positive update about that. He was asked whether or not James Mangold — who was tapped to write and direct the project — had delivered a script as of yet. Gunn revealed he hadn't, but that the pair just spoke. 'We talked to James the other day,' said Gunn. 'No, he hasn't delivered a script. He's been distracted with his billions of movies. But we're talking about it again.' Originally reported by Anthony Nash at SuperHeroHype. 'Ghost' Premiered 35 Years Ago This Weekend. How PEOPLE's Critic 'Really' Felt About It Back in the Day
The romance thriller ghost story made $505.7 million at the box office and inspired a Broadway musicalNEED TO KNOW Ghost celebrates its 35th anniversary on July 13 The romance thriller made $505.7 million at the box office and inspired a Broadway musical However, back in 1990, PEOPLE's film critic called it "dopily written"Ghost premiered on July 13, 1990, centering on a young woman in trouble as the ghost of her murdered lover tries to protect her with the help of a spiritual medium. The movie opens up with lovebirds Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze) and Molly Jensen (Demi Moore). However, it takes a turn when Wheat is murdered by business partner Carl Brunner (Tony Goldwyn), leaving him to return as a ghost but unable to communicate with Jensen. The late banker then seeks help from psychic Old Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg) to shield Jensen from Brunner's nefarious plans. At the time, PEOPLE's critic noted that the film "isn't another movie about friendly spirits hanging out' and 'takes the ghost business with boneheaded seriousness.' "Swayze is killed in a mugging and realizes he's dead to the world (though visible to the audience), he starts researching ghost behavior," the review read in part. "He wants to help Moore, his girlfriend, catch his killer." "So he finds a veteran ghost, Vincent Schiavelli, who can physically influence the living. Swayze goes into training, and Schiavelli tells him, 'You've gotta take all your emotion — all your anger, love, hate — push it way down into the pit of your stomach and let it explode,'" the review continued. "In its intensity and mumbo jumbo, the scene resembles Yoda guru-ing Luke — you expect Schiavelli to tell Swayze, 'Let the ectoplasm be with you.' " PEOPLE joked in its Ghost review that Moore may have set "an all-time record for most scenes of tears welling up in eyes" in the "dopily written" film, which also had "fundamentalist Christian overtones." "The zero-perspective direction is by Jerry Zucker, who has been involved with on-purpose funny movies — such as Airplane! — but none that more richly deserves guffaws than this one," the review concluded. "If making bad movies qualifies as a deadly sin, [Bruce Joel] Rubin and Zucker had better start pushing all their emotion into the pit of their stomachs right now so they have a fighting chance when those little devils in the black outfits come after them." Despite this review from PEOPLE, the film raked in a whopping $505.7 million worldwide, surpassing another 1990 hit, Home Alone, which made $476.6 million at the box office. Ghost was nominated for five awards and won three at the 1991 Oscars. Goldberg walked away with the hardware for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Speaking to PEOPLE after the movie came out, Swayze explained that the film was much more than just a love story to him. He revealed that seeing the plaster dummy representing his character's body took him back to his father's funeral, when he "almost passed out" after touching his dad in his coffin. 'I had pushed that memory out of my life until that moment on location when it all came back, big time,' he said. 'There were a few scenes where something happened to me that was very scary.' As difficult as it was to manage those emotions, it helped him tap into his character, who, like his father, died before his time. In the same interview, Swayze said he felt the message of the film "was about living your life for the moment, because that's all you've got … If you don't communicate with the people you love, you set yourself up for incredible pain if you lose them.' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Speaking at a 2013 American Film Institute event honoring the film, Moore said she loved the script but wasn't sure audiences would respond to it. 'It's a love story, and it's a guy – a dead guy – trying to save his wife, and there is a comedy part, but really, really it's a love story, and I thought, 'Wow, this is really a recipe for disaster … It's either going to be something really special, really amazing, or really an absolute bust,'" she recalled. She shared a similar sentiment over a decade later while chatting with Interview Magazine, acknowledging that Ghost got 'horrible reviews.' 'I remember seeing the movie and thinking it was great, and then the first reviews were awful,' the actress said in the 2024 interview. 'I was so out of my body, because all of a sudden, I was like, 'I don't know if I can trust myself because I thought it was good?' At that moment, I decided to not read reviews, because you have to give equal value to the good and the bad," she added. Ghost is available to watch for free on Kanopy and Hoopla, and for rent on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. Read the original article on People Solve the daily Crossword
