Bobby Deol is undoubtedly a big star but Abhay Deol's net worth is five times more than him, just like Vivek Oberoi, who also turned into a businessman.
When you think of the Deol family, the spotlight usually falls on Sunny Deol's action-packed career or Bobby Deol's recent comeback. But here is a twist you did not see coming: there is one Deol who is quietly richer than both of them. Meet Abhay Deol, the cousin who built a fortune worth a jaw-dropping Rs 400 crore.
Abhay Deol has always stood apart from the Bollywood crowd. He is not the one to chase headlines or flaunt his lifestyle. Neither is he a regular Bollywood poster boy nor an activist artist-kind. Instead, he has carved his own path, selective with work and, as visible, incredibly smart when it comes to finances.
Where Bobby Deol Stands
As for Abhay Deol's cousin Bobby Deol, the actor's net worth is estimated at Rs 66.7 crore, according to Lifestyle Asia. He earns Rs 4–6 crore per film and reportedly took home Rs 5 crore for his role in Animal. Bobby also enjoys a significant amount of money from brand deals, charging around Rs 1 crore for each endorsement. While this all is impressive, Abhay is clearly in a league of his own.

The new release witnessed a rise in footfalls and collections; however, not to the level that it should have. One of the main factors that affected its growth was the Mumbai rains. Weeks/Days The figures exclude 3D handling charges. Coolie Tamil Nadu Day 6 Box Office Estimates: Rajinikanth's movie slumps further, adds only Rs 4 crore

Directed by Lokesh Kanagraj, Coolie was released in cinemas on August 14, 2025, coinciding with the Independence Day weekend. The Tamil action thriller, led by Rajinikanth, was dubbed into the Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada languages. After its extended opening weekend, Coolie looks to slump at the Kollywood box office. Coolie fetches Rs 4 crore on Day 6 in Tamil Nadu markets Produced under the banner of Sun Pictures, Coolie maintained an excellent hold in its extended opening weekend in Tamil Nadu. The Rajinikanth-led movie collected Rs 96 crore gross, including Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It is among the top 3 Kollywood movies to have had the highest first four-day collections of all time in its home state. The action thriller observed a big drop on the first Monday, collecting only Rs 6 crore. Now, as per estimates, the numbers tumbled further to Rs 4 crore gross on the first Tuesday. Coolie has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the Kollywood box office, while bringing a cume gross collection of Rs 106 crore. Coolie will struggle to enter Rs 150 crore club in the state Going by the trends, it is unlikely that Coolie will be able to smash into the Rs 150 crore club in Tamil Nadu. Based on the opening, it should have been targetting Rs 200 crore plus in the state instead. Lokesh Kanagaraj's latest directorial, which clashed with War 2, will be perceived as a film that didn't match its potential. With Rajinikanth 's star power and good word of mouth, it could have been the highest-grossing Tamil movie of all time. However, the recently released action thriller will now end in the top six highest-grossing films in Kollywood. Coolie may touch the top 5 list, but that's going to be tight. Coolie is a big hit as per the collections. Though it will emerge as an underwhelming performer. Coolie In Theaters Coolie plays in theaters now. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates. Sculptors battle rain with fire sprays to ready Ganesh idols

1 2 Ranchi: The ongoing monsoon, marked by above average downpour this year so far, is giving tough time to idol makers in the state capital ahead of the upcoming Ganesh puja later this month. With few days left for the festival, idol makers are running against time to ensure their creations take shape to meet the deadline. With moisture refusing to let the clay or paint settle, artisans have now resorted to an unusual but effective solution: fire sprays to dry their creations. "For the eight-foot heavy idols, a full gas cylinder is consumed just in the drying process. The time varies depending on the thickness of the clay and the weather outside, but without fire sprays, we could never meet the deadlines this year," said sculptor Prasanjeet Hazra. Hazra, who has been making idols for more than a decade, said orders this time extend beyond Ranchi to neighbouring districts like Ramgarh and Hazaribag. "We are preparing idols priced anywhere between Rs 1,000 and Rs 80,000. The heaviest ones, costing around Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000, are the toughest to dry. Still, devotees want them ready in time, so we must keep pushing through," he said. To shield their work from relentless downpours, artisans have improvised by covering half their open spaces with tarpaulin sheets and building temporary sheds. The challenges go beyond drying and sheltering the idols. Sculptors say repeated moisture damage has forced them to repaint many pieces twice over, driving up costs and labour.
