In April 2025, Matt Barnes shared his emotional departure on the podcast. He revealed that it's been 30 years since he has cried and said, "I'm starting to feel it now. I feel like I'm almost pouring from an empty cup." This emotional detachment, he admitted, contributed to the end of the relationship with groom Anansa Sims.
Anansa Sims, the daughter of Beverly Johnson's model, began dating Matt Barnes in 2018 and was involved in December 2022. They have 2 children together.
