The Allegations: Rosen Law Firm is Investigating the Allegations that Luminar Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: LAZR) Misled Investors Regarding its Business Operations.
According to the lawsuit, throughout the Class Period, defendants made false and misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Austin Russell ('Russell'), Luminar's President, CEO and Chairman of the Board, was engaged in undisclosed conduct that would make him the subject of an inquiry by the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors; (2) this conduct created material risk that Russell would be released form his positions at Luminar; (3) Luminar's loss of Russell as an employee would then create material risk of adversely affecting Luminar's business by making it more difficult to compete with other market participants, manage R&D activities, and retain existing customers or cultivate new ones. Further, negative public perception and negative news related to Russell could adversely affect Luminar's brand relationships with customers, or standing in the industry; (4) accordingly, Luminar had no reasonable basis to provide and/or maintain Luminar's financial guidance; and (5) as a result, defendants' public statements were materially false and/or misleading at all times. 'We enter the back half of 2025 in a very similar position as we started, which speaks to the resiliency of small businesses given the amount of uncertainty they faced so far this year.' Jobs Index and Wage Data Highlights The national Small Business Jobs Index in July (99.82) matches the 2025 year-to-date index level, showing modest month-to-month movement and signaling a consistent trend of stability for U.S. small businesses. Hourly earnings growth has continued to trend below three percent for 11 of the last 12 months, marking a return to the historical average seen from 2014-2020. Since hitting a six-year low in January 2025 (2.27%), weekly earnings growth among U.S. small business workers has steadily increased during the past six months to 2.76% in July. Weekly hours worked have shown positive growth in July (0.11%) for the first month since August 2024, and the one month annualized weekly hours worked jumped to 2.31% in July. The Midwest has been the top region for small business employment growth for the past 14 months. Bolstering the region, Ohio (101.09) continues to lead states for small business job growth in July, followed closely by Indiana (100.89). Education and Health Services leads sectors for small business job growth for the 14th-straight month. Leisure and Hospitality remains last among sectors for job growth (98.35) in July, but its jobs index represents the largest one-month gain (0.59 percentage points) among industries. MaxLinear to Unveil Panther V: 450Gbps Storage Accelerator for Enterprise and Hyperscale Data Centers at FMS 2025
CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MaxLinear, Inc. (Nasdaq: MXL) a leader in high-performance data storage accelerator solutions, today announced its next-generation Panther V storage accelerator that delivers ultra-low latency, 450Gbps throughput, 12:1 data reduction, and PCIe Gen5 x 16 interface connectivity. MaxLinear will showcase Panther V during the Future of Memory and Storage 2025 (FMS 2025) conference in Santa Clara, CA August 5-7 and demonstrate the storage accelerator's performance, efficiency, and scalability for enterprise and hyperscale data centers. Panther V builds on the proven Panther III architecture, delivering more than double the throughput while continuing to reduce both capital (CAPEX) and operational (OPEX) expenditures. By offloading compute-intensive data transformation tasks—such as compression, deduplication, encryption, and real-time verification (RTV)—from the CPU to a single hardware-based solution, Panther offers substantial performance gains, storage cost savings, and energy efficiency improvements when compared to traditional software-only, FPGA, and other competitive solutions. 'Panther V is engineered to meet the demands of modern data centers where performance, efficiency, and cost control are paramount,' said Vikas Choudhary, Vice President of Connectivity and Storage business at MaxLinear. 'With its high throughput and energy efficiency performance, Panther V will empower customers to scale intelligently while reducing infrastructure costs.' Key Features and Benefits 450Gbps Throughput: Delivers over 2x the performance of Panther III, enabling ultra-low latency data processing across file, block, and object storage. Optimized for high-performance computing, hyperscale and hyperconverged architectures, and AI/ML workloads.
