16-year-old, his father among 3 charged in fatal Frostproof shooting: PCSO
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd will discuss the details of an arrest connected to a fatal shooting in Frostproof in a news conference Tuesday.
A 16-year-old was identified as the second suspect in the Sunday shooting and is charged with first-degree murder.

On Monday, Judd described the teenager as an accomplice to the 15-year-old suspect charged with first-degree murder and attempted robbery. The 16-year-old's father is charged with accessory to murder and tampering with evidence.
The shooting happened on Washington Terrace just after 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Judd said the 16-year-old discussed buying marijuana with the 22-year-old victim before the incident. The victim went to a home, where the 16-year-old pulled out a gun and shot him, according to Judd.
Judd said the victim tried to return fire before his car drifted down half a block, where deputies found him dead, with marijuana in his hand. Both teenagers fled the area.
PCSO is requesting the state attorney's office charge the teenage suspects as adults.
The sheriff's office is offering a $5,000 reward for the recovery of the Draco AK-47 used in the shooting. Anyone with information is urged to contact PCSO or Crime Stoppers.

Amazon van stuck in mud broken into in Lyon County, multiple packages missing
LYON COUNTY (KSNT) – Some people around Lyon County may not be getting their packages this week after an Amazon delivery van was broken into after being trapped in mud for days. The Lyon County Sheriff's Office posted on social media that it is investigating a recent case of theft involving an Amazon Prime Van. Deputies were called on Monday, June 9 to the 1700 block of Road N to help remove this van after it took a wrong turn and became stuck in some mud. Deputies responding to this situation found the van had been stuck for several days. Upon further investigation, law enforcement noticed someone had broken into it and taken several packages. The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is asking locals to help it with the investigation into the break-in. Terroristic threat charge being referred for Wisconsin 6th grader after email sent to middle school
GERMANTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – Following a threatening email directed at a southeastern Wisconsin middle school, authorities have identified the source and are referring a terroristic threat charge against a 6th grader. Officers with the Germantown Police Department noted in a release that after a threatening email was sent to the Kennedy Middle School on Monday, June 2, their investigation culminated in a search warrant at a Germantown home on Friday, June 6. Multiple electronic devices were seized during the search warrant, and they were forensically analyzed. Former Green Bay Packer arrested on drug charges, cash bond set at $5k Data recovered from one of the devices reportedly led to the discovery of a Google account used to send the threatening email. Officers say the device belonged to a 6th grader at the middle school. The email was sent to the Kennedy Middle School attendance email account and allegedly threatened to 'kill all of the teachers,' while mentioning an AK-47. Officers say the student admitted to creating and sending the message. The school secretary who discovered the email immediately contacted the Germantown Police Department's School Resource Officer. Officers say the student's family has been fully cooperative throughout the investigation and is working with law enforcement and the Germantown School District. The students' parents reportedly told investigators that there is no access to guns at the home. Second defendant convicted in human trafficking sexual assault case in Fond du Lac When authorities questioned the student, the student reportedly stated that they were upset following a recent interaction with a teacher and did not intend to act on the threat. We recognize that some parents and community members were concerned about the lack of immediate information. It's important to understand that when a threat of this nature is received, numerous steps must be taken behind the scenes to ensure the safety of students and staff. The school was placed in a 'hold' as a precaution while law enforcement worked to assess and manage the situation. The Germantown Police Department wants to reassure the community that we take all threats seriously and investigate them thoroughly and swiftly. Our detectives worked diligently and continuously to identify the individual responsible and bring this investigation to a swift resolution.
