Anthony Joshua would KO Jake Paul with ease but that doesn't make fight dangerous for YouTube star, claims David Haye

DAVID HAYE has revealed the bizarre reason why Jake Paul fighting Anthony Joshua isn't the disaster waiting to happen that boxing fans fear.
YouTube prankster-turned-prizefighter Paul and two-time heavyweight champion AJ are in talks for a controversial bout next year.

That is despite the massive size, skill and experience disparity between the pair.
Joshua, 35, brutally knocked out ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou, 38, in two rounds of their crossover clash in Riyadh in March 2024.
A year earlier, Paul, 28, suffered his first and so far only loss in the ring against Tommy Fury, 26, via split-decision.
He has since improved to 12-1 and earned himself a 14th ranked place in the WBA's cruiserweight rankings after beating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
But moving up to heavyweight to fight AJ - who stands 6ft 6in and 18 STONE - is seen as a dangerous suicide mission amongst almost all fans.
But, former cruiserweight and heavyweight champ Haye reckons it will be painless for Paul and over before he even knows it.
The HighBet ambassador told SunSport: "I don't think it's dangerous at all!
"You don't really get any damage when you get knocked spark out. It doesn't give you brain damage.

"Even Ngannou, how much damage did the AJ fight do to Ngannou? And Ngannou is a lot bigger and stronger than Jake Paul.
"He just knocked him out, he just turned his lights out once, that was it. Well put him down once, put him down again.
Itauma told 'anything other than becoming world champion is a failure' with Brit 'more impressive than Joshua and Fury'
"He had maybe a headache the next day, but there was no damage done, so I think it's actually quite a safe fight because it'll be over very, very fast."
Paul did fight at heavyweight last November when Mike Tyson came out of retirement at the age of 58 - losing over eight shorter two-minute rounds.
The American bulked up to 227lb (16st 2lb) and admitted to struggling to even RUN due to the weight gain.
He moved back down to the 200lb cruiserweight limit of 14st 4lb in June when he beat ex-middleweight champ Chavez Jr, 39, over ten rounds.
That is FOUR STONE lighter than Joshua - who is yet to return since his KO loss to Daniel Dubois last September.
Talks with his promoter Eddie Hearn and Paul's promotional partner Nakisa Bidarian have continued - including a one-hour meeting in person.
Hearn has even labelled the negotiations "advanced" and believes Paul is now the frontrunner for AJ's next opponent.
The fight is likely to fall in 2026 with America, Britain and Saudi all potential hosts.

"I took that for granted a few years ago when I was always in the top four. The standard is so high now that I have realised you have to keep your foot down all the time. Who are Moses Itauma's parents? The boxing prodigy's heritage revealed

MOSES ITAUMA is set to take on heavyweight veteran Dillian Whyte this weekend - but who are the parents behind Britain's boxing sensation? The 20-year-old knockout artist has been fast-tracked to face former world title challenger Whyte in Saudi Arabia. Now, fans want to know more about the family roots that shaped this rising star. Itauma's incredible story spans two continents, and his unique Nigerian-Slovakian heritage is clearly paying off in the ring. Moses Itauma's Nigerian father Moses Itauma's paternal heritage traces back to Nigeria, connecting him to one of Africa 's most populous and culturally rich nations. His Nigerian father represents the African side of his multicultural identity, though specific details about his father's name and background remain relatively private. Nigeria has a strong tradition in combat sports, particularly boxing, with legendary fighters like Dick Tiger and, more recently, Anthony Joshua (who also has Nigerian heritage) making their mark on the heavyweight division. 4 Eastern European roots Moses Itauma was born in his mother's hometown of Kezmarok, Slovakia, in December 2004. His Slovakian mother provided the European foundation for his early life, giving him dual cultural perspectives from birth. Slovakia, a landlocked country in Central Europe, has its own proud sporting traditions. His mother's influence appears to have been significant in his early development, particularly given that he was born in her homeland. The family's decision to later move to Britain shows the international perspective that has shaped Moses's worldview from a young age. From Slovakia to Kent The Itauma family didn't stay in Slovakia for long after Moses's birth, relocating to Chatham in Kent, England, where Moses was raised. This move proved pivotal in shaping his boxing career and British identity. Chatham, located in Medway, became the backdrop for Moses's formative years. The town's working-class environment and proximity to London's boxing scene provided the perfect breeding ground for a future heavyweight contender. The family's decision to settle in Britain has allowed Moses to represent the UK professionally while maintaining his diverse cultural heritage. This British upbringing, combined with his dual African-European ancestry, has created a truly international fighter who embodies modern Britain's multicultural identity. 4 The Itauma boxing dynasty Moses isn't the only boxer in the family. He's the younger brother of light-heavyweight fighter Karol Itauma, suggesting that boxing talent runs deep in the family. This sibling connection indicates that their parents have been instrumental in supporting both sons' boxing ambitions. Having an older brother already established in professional boxing has likely provided Moses with valuable insights and guidance. The older Itauma also won a gold medal at the Youth Olympics in 2018, although he hasn't fought since March 2024. Karol's experience in the light-heavyweight division has probably helped Moses navigate the complexities of professional boxing from an early age. The fact that both brothers have pursued boxing careers speaks to their parents' supportive approach to their children's sporting ambitions. Managing two professional boxers requires significant family commitment and sacrifice. 4 Privacy and family values Despite Moses's rising profile in boxing, his family has maintained a relatively low public profile. His parents haven't sought the spotlight, preferring to support their son's career from behind the scenes rather than becoming media personalities themselves. This approach suggests strong family values and a focus on Moses's development as both a fighter and a person. The family's privacy allows Moses to develop his career without additional pressure on his parents or family members. Their supportive but discreet approach has likely contributed to Moses's grounded personality and professional approach to boxing. Having stable family support without media intrusion creates an ideal environment for a young fighter's development. A foundation for future success As Moses Itauma prepares for his high-profile bout with Dillian Whyte, his parents' influence becomes even more significant. The multicultural foundation they've provided, combined with their support for his boxing ambitions, has created the perfect environment for a future champion. His Nigerian-Slovakian heritage, British upbringing, and family support system have combined to produce one of boxing's most promising young talents. With his parents' continued guidance, on the heavyweight division while representing the best of modern Britain. When is Itauma vs Whyte and how can I watch it?
