Andrew Tate and brother Tristan reveal they WILL return to the UK for trial after being charged with rape, human trafficking and prostitution offences against three women

Daily Mail3 days ago

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan will return to the UK to defend themselves after being charged with rape and other offences, their legal team has said.
Representing the Tate brothers, law firm Holborn Adams said in a statement that once proceedings faced by the siblings for separate charges are concluded in Romania they will 'return to face UK allegations.'
The brothers are already facing prosecution in Romania over allegations of trafficking minors, sexual intercourse with a minor and money laundering, which must be settled before they can be extradited to the UK, the Crown Prosecution Service said.
They have been charged with a string of offences including rape, human trafficking, controlling prostitution and actual bodily harm against three women in the UK.
Andrew, 38, faces 10 charges connected to three alleged victims including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain.
Meanwhile, Tristan, 36, faces 11 charges connected to one alleged victim including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking.
An international arrest warrant was issued by Bedfordshire Police for the siblings over allegations dating back to between 2012 and 2015, which they deny.
The charges were authorised in January 2024 but full details have only been released now as the CPS wanted to clarify the position of the proceedings.

The Tates' legal team added:' These proceedings are set down for trial in 2027 (as things stand) whereby Andrew Tate will, again, rigorously defend himself with our full support.'
MailOnline has reached out to Andrew Tate's representatives for comment.
A CPS spokesman said: 'We can confirm that we have authorised charges against Andrew and Tristan Tate for offences including rape, human trafficking, controlling prostitution and actual bodily harm against three women.
'These charging decisions followed receipt of a file of evidence from Bedfordshire Police.
'A European Arrest Warrant was issued in England in 2024, and as a result the Romanian courts ordered the extradition to the UK of Andrew and Tristan Tate.
'However, the domestic criminal matters in Romania must be settled first.
'The Crown Prosecution Service reminds everyone that criminal proceedings are active, and the defendants have the right to a fair trial.
'It is extremely important that there be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.'
The women are being represented by lawyer Matt Jury, who said: 'We welcome the clarity from the Crown Prosecution Service that our authorities are working to ensure the Tates face justice here in the UK – they cannot be allowed to escape extradition.

'At the same time, we ask once more that CPS admit its mistake in failing to prosecute Tate when he lived in the UK and finally charge him for the rape and assault of the other three women, our clients, who originally filed criminal complaints against him as long ago as 2014 but were failed by the system. They deserve justice, too.'
The three women's allegations were subject to a Hertfordshire Police investigation, which was closed in 2019.
The brothers, who have long denied all allegations both in Romania and Britain, have become notorious for their flamboyant online presence and inflammatory views - particularly toward women.
Older brother Andrew, a self-declared 'alpha male' and 'misogynist', first rose to prominence after appearing on Big Brother in 2016.
Since then, the former professional kickboxer has cultivated a global online following, particularly among teenage boys, with controversial advice urging men to 'reject feminism', dominate women, and focus on wealth an status.
His rise to stardom, particularly on TikTok, has sparked warnings from academics and teaches, who say schoolboys are copying his rhetoric to justify sexist and aggressive behaviour towards women.

JoJo Siwa addresses her sexuality amid shock new romance with Chris Hughes

JoJo Siwa marked the start of 2025 Pride Month with a poignant message for her social media followers. Taking to Instagram Stories on Sunday, the 22-year-old former child star wrote, 'Happy day 1 of the happiest month. What I have learned over the last 22 years is that pride is all about love, acceptance and celebration.' She added, 'No matter who you are or what you are, you are you, you are beautiful, and you are perfect. Everyone's story is different and everyone's journey is different.' Siwa — who shocked fans when she started dating Celebrity Big Brother UK costar Chris Hughes, 32, in April — declared that the 'most beautiful thing' about love is 'that it's just love.' In conclusion, she wrote, 'Happy pride to the beautiful LGBTQIA+ community, to the allies, and to all that exist:).' While starring on season 24 of Celebrity Big Brother UK, JoJo shared, 'I've always told myself I'm a lesbian, but I think being here, I've realized, "Oh no, I'm not a lesbian, I'm queer." I think that's really cool. I'm switching letters.' Later, while speaking to Us Weekly, the former Dance Moms personality said she thought the statement wouldn't make it to television. 'That was one of those conversations actually that I was having that I was like, "This will never see the light of day." I don't mind that it did, because I actually think it starts a very beautiful conversation of queer. I think queer joy is so special and so magical,' she told the outlet. She went on to reject putting her sexuality 'in a box.' 'Queer is a beautiful umbrella term for the LGBTQIA community,' Siwa emphasized. 'I think that for me to be a woman and say I have a non-binary partner, but then also say I'm a lesbian is crazy. 'I just realized within myself that the way my eyes are to the world, I think I'm just queer. It has nothing to do with anything besides that. It's nothing to be ashamed of. The world is going crazy with that one though. It flabbergasts me.' Before launching her romance with Huges, JoJo was in a brief relationship with Australian content creator Kath Ebbs, who is non-binary. Their unceremonious breakup happened at the Celebrity Big Brother UK wrap party in April. Back in 2022, Siwa was forced to defend herself after telling Yahoo! Life she doesn't like the word 'lesbian.' She took to TikTok to clarify her statement and address scrutiny from fans, stating, 'I never said that 'lesbian' was a dirty word.' In the interview with the publication the former Lifetime star said, 'I don't like the word itself. It's just like a lot. But I mean, at the end of the day, that's what I am.' She compared it to the word 'moist,' which some people don't like because of the way it sounds phonetically. 'It's like the word moist. It's just like… ugh!' she added, much to the dismay of some of her followers. She reiterated on TikTok, 'I never would say that it's a dirty word because it is not. It's not a bad word, it's not a slur, it's especially not a word that I am ashamed of saying or ashamed of identifying as by any means. The the blond dancer added, 'I don't hate the word lesbian. Whenever someone talks to me about my sexuality I just say that I'm gay.
