‘You in my house?' Rapper Kid Cudi says ‘Diddy' broke into his home
New York: Rapper Scott 'Kid Cudi' Mescudi testified at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sex-trafficking trial that the hip-hop mogul broke into his home in 2011 after discovering Mescudi was dating his on-and-off girlfriend Casandra Ventura.
The incident is one of a number of violent and threatening acts that prosecutors allege that Combs undertook during a 20-year scheme to coerce women, including Ventura, to take part in drug-fuelled sex parties known as 'freak offs' and prevent them from leaving his orbit.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs' lawyers have acknowledged he has a history of drug abuse and domestic violence, but argue that the women who took part in freak offs did so consensually.
Testifying as a prosecution witness on Thursday, New York time, Mescudi told the Manhattan federal court that Ventura called him early one morning in December 2011 and told him Combs had found out about their relationship and asked Mescudi to pick her up.
Mescudi, wearing a leather jacket over a white shirt and blue jeans in court, said Ventura sounded nervous and scared, and warned him that she had given Combs his Hollywood Hills address.
Mescudi, known for hit songs Day 'N' Nite and Memories, said one of Ventura's associates then told him that Combs was in his home. After dropping off Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel, Mescudi said he drove toward his home. On the way, Mescudi testified, he called Combs.
'I said, 'Motherf---er, you in my house?'' Mescudi testified.
Mescudi said Combs sounded calm and told him he wanted to talk.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs accused by reporter of drugging and raping her during European tour
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been accused by a reporter of drugging and raping her during his European tour in 2000. The rapper, 55, is still sitting trial in New York on federal charges including racketeering and sex trafficking, and away from the court proceedings Kathi Steininger, a 44-year-old Austrian journalist, publicly accused him of the attack when she was 19. Speaking to Austrian broadcaster PULS 24, she claimed the incident occurred after she conducted an on-camera interview with Combs. She alleged she was separated from her cameraman, given a drink by Combs, and subsequently lost consciousness. Kathi allegedly awoke to find herself being raped on the back of his tour bus. She said of the drink she was given: 'There was 100 percent something in it. I would never have gone to bed with that man.' Kathi also stated she intended to testify in Combs' ongoing sex trafficking trial in New York but was informed her case fell outside the statute of limitations due to the alleged assault occurring overseas. Following this, she chose to waive her anonymity and share her story publicly, expressing hope for justice and potential legal action in Austria. She also revealed the alleged attack left her with post-traumatic stress disorder, rendering her unable to work. Charges against Combs also included coercion. The trial, which began in May 2025, centres around allegations Combs orchestrated a decade-long scheme involving violence, coercion and forced participation in drug-fuelled sex events, referred to as 'freak-offs'. The events allegedly involved high-profile guests and were characterized by excessive drug use and non-consensual sexual encounters. At the heart of the charges is Combs' relationship with ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, 38, who filed a lawsuit against him in November 2023. Cassie accused Combs of rape, physical abuse, and forcing her to participate in 'freak-off' orgies. The lawsuit was settled out of court the following day. In May 2024, surveillance footage from 2016 surfaced, allegedly showing Combs physically assaulting Ventura in a hotel hallway. The video, obtained by CNN, appeared to corroborate Ventura's claims of abuse. Combs has denied all allegations against him. His lawyer Ben Brafman described Ventura's claims as 'offensive and outrageous'. The trial is expected to continue for several weeks, with testimonies from multiple accusers and extensive media coverage. If convicted on all charges, Combs could face a maximum sentence of life in jail.

Diddy dangled Cassie's friend off balcony, jury told
Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs dangled a friend of his former girlfriend Casandra Ventura off the balcony of a 17th-floor apartment in September 2016, the friend has testified at Combs' sex trafficking trial. Bryana Bongolan, Ventura's friend, told jurors in Manhattan federal court that Combs then came up to her from behind on the balcony of Ventura's Los Angeles apartment, lifted her up and placed her on top of the balcony's rail. Combs then told her several times, "You know what the f*** you did," Bongolan testified. "For a split second I was thinking about if I was going to fall but for the most part he was yelling at me, so I was trying to answer him," Bongolan, 33, told the jury. Bongolan testified that she told Combs she did not know what she had done. To this day, she does not know what Combs believed she did, Bongolan said. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to five counts including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan say Combs over two decades coerced women, including Ventura, to take part in drug-fuelled sexual performances with male sex workers known as "Freak Offs". The trial is in its fourth week. Ventura, a rhythm and blues singer known as Cassie, told jurors last month she took part in Combs' Freak Offs for about a decade, at first to please him and later because he blackmailed her with videos of the encounters. She said Combs frequently beat her. Prosecutors with the Manhattan US attorney's office say Combs and his associates used force and the threat of force to coerce women to take part in the Freak Offs and to make sure witnesses to his abuse remained quiet. Combs' lawyers have acknowledged he was at times abusive in domestic relationships but argue that women who took part in Freak Offs did so consensually. Bongolan said Combs and Ventura often had a volatile relationship. Bongolan said she saw Ventura with a black eye or bruises on multiple occasions. Once, Bongolan said she saw Combs throw a knife in Ventura's direction in Ventura's apartment. Another time, on the beach in Malibu, California, Combs approached Bongolan and said, "I'm the devil and I could kill you," Bongolan testified. She said she did not know why Combs told her that. Bongolan said the 2016 balcony incident took place early one morning after she had spent the night at Ventura's apartment. She said she was about 155cm tall and weighed between 45 to 52 kg at the time. Combs, Bongolan said, was "bigger". After holding her on top of the balcony's rail for between 10 and 15 seconds, Combs threw her onto the balcony furniture, Bongolan said. Jurors saw photographs Bongolan took of bruises she said she suffered as a result of the incident. Bongolan says she still has night terrors and paranoia. Combs could face life in prison if convicted on all counts. Prosecutors have said they may finish presenting their case next week, allowing the defence to put on its case. 1800 RESPECT (1800 737 732) Lifeline 13 11 14 Men's Referral Service 1300 766 491 Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs dangled a friend of his former girlfriend Casandra Ventura off the balcony of a 17th-floor apartment in September 2016, the friend has testified at Combs' sex trafficking trial.
