The World of Warframe Gets Weirder Than Ever With a Living Guitar
Her name is Lizzie, she looks like a fleshy Stratocaster and she has big feelings about being attached to the hip of a rock star named Flare.
Long-running online shooter Warframe's Techrot Encore update amps up an already strange game by introducing, yes, a living guitar. That's also a flamethrower.
In a world with eldritch child soldiers, a bending space-time continuum and robotic romance, it's hard to add new weirdness. A moody guitar with a penchant for instant messaging completely changes the game.
While the Hex's story may have largely concluded at the end of the first major Warframe 1999 update, the new protoframes and Lizzie are about to unfold an entirely new story.
Here's everything we know about this bizarre new Warframe character.

When players first meet the nonbinary rock legend and their instrument, their relationship will have a serious rift. Lizzie was born of the Helminth serum injected into Flare -- the same strain of infection that turned them into the Temple protoframe. This sapient infestation was forced onto the rock star, and they're inherently suspicious of the outcome.
Lizzie has the capacity to feel, think and reason, but that doesn't mean Flare trusts their new forced companion. Neither party necessarily believes that the other is doing what's in their mutual best interest, especially since Flare's mind is clouded with anger as they try to get revenge on the man who killed their bandmates.
That doesn't mean the relationship will be broken forever. Flare and Lizzie will be available as new conversation partners on the KIM instant messenger system, where players will have a chance to build chemistry with the new characters and help them overcome their inner turmoils.
This machine kills fascists. Flare and Lizzie might not be chums when players first run across them, but that doesn't mean the guitar isn't integral to the rock star's kit of abilities in-game as the Warframe Temple. Each time players activate one of Temple's abilities on beat with their built-in metronome, Lizzie grows stronger.
When enough abilities are strung together, Temple can unleash their guitar with Exalted Solo, transforming Lizzie into a flamethrower to scorch surrounding enemies. If you've ever seen Mad Max: Fury Road, Temple is just like the dude who hypes up Immortan Joe's warband -- but far deadlier.
If Temple fires the flamethrower on the beat of the metronome, electric sparks will fly, dealing additional elemental damage to enemies caught in the area of effect.
Lizzie can be modded in the player's arsenal just like other exalted weapons, meaning she'll be a potent weapon that will scale up with Warframe ability strength. Players will be able to shred through enemies when Temple and Lizzie release on March 19.

Dave Portnoy goes ballistic on Barstool's Kirk Minihane over ‘Jew jokes': ‘You work for me'
Dave Portnoy unloaded on a Barstool Sports staffer for wanting to have an antisemitic comedian on a Barstool platform. On a recent episode of 'The Unnamed Show,' Portnoy and Kirk Minihane argued about comments made by a content creator who goes by Beyond Average Mick criticizing Portnoy's reaction to a recent antisemitic incident at a bar Portnoy owns in Philadelphia. The conversation reached a boiling point when Minihane told Portnoy not to tell him to 'shut up.' Warning: graphic language 'Shut the f–k up you bald f–k,' Portnoy responded. 'How's that?' 'OK, go ahead,' Minihane said in response. 'I'll never recover from that. Go ahead, Dave, continue.' 'Well, you're the one that's like big bossman 'don't tell me' — you work for me,' Portnoy shot back. 'You little bitch. You work for me.' 'For now,' Minihane replied. 'For now? Quit, I'll save $500K,' Portnoy said. Previously, Temple student Mo Khan posted a video on social media showing a bottle-service sign in the Portnoy-owned bar with the message 'F–k the Jews' written on it. Portnoy spoke with Khan, who initially took responsibility, and offered to send him on an educational trip to Auschwitz concentration camp. When Khan changed his story and claimed he was not involved in the incident, Portnoy called him a 'coward.' That prompted Beyond Average Mick to call Portnoy 'Rabbi Dave' and criticize him for what he believed was a sanctimonious response to the incident. When Minihane suggested having Beyond Average Mick on his Barstool show to have a conversation with Portnoy, Portnoy was not pleased. 'I hate this kid,' Portnoy said. 'I do think he's an antisemitic piece of s–t.' When Portnoy said certain 'Jew jokes' crossed a line, Minihane pushed back and suggested jokes of that nature should be allowed. 'You're telling a comedian not to make a joke,' Minihane said. 'OK, we'll ban Jew jokes of that nature. We'll get the constitution, we'll get congress and ban Jew jokes of that nature.' Minihane explained his reasoning for wanting to have Beyond Average Mick on the show. 'I thought it would be interesting to have somebody on who you disagree with and have a conversation,' Minihane said. 'Which I thought you were trying to do with bringing these guys to Auschwitz, trying to have a conversation so you can put a name and a face to someone you disagree with. You don't want to do that, so I was wrong.' Portnoy released a follow-up video Thursday. 'This is about the bigger thing. Clips, what we talk about, taken out of context,' Portnoy said. 'Now I'm seeing 'Dave wants to throw people in jail for Jew jokes' and 'Dave wants to regulate Jew jokes' and 'he's been this free speech guy and remember he sang that Ja Rule lyric like 10 years ago.' It's crazy. 'So, let me just set the record straight because people just watch the little clips. I was referring to, if you're making a Jew joke right now, currently, after a bunch of Jews got Molotov Cocktails thrown at them in Colorado, or after two Jew are gunned down outside a Jewish Museum, and your response is somehow 'It's the Jews' fault' or a veiled Jew joke, you're an antisemitic piece of s–t. That's what this was about.' 'This was about, after Mo Khan held the 'f–k the Jews' sign in my bar and I kicked him out and tried to make an example of him, a troll basically was saying I have no right to talk about that or be mad about that. It's just a joke, I make jokes, when are jokes illegal? Well, that's an antisemitic piece of s–t. I'm not saying he should be in jail. I'm not saying put in him in cuffs. I'm saying that's an antisemitic piece of s–t.'

Dave Portnoy target of antisemitic comment during Barstool Sports pizza review
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was on the receiving end of an antisemitic comment as he filmed a pizza review in Toronto. Portnoy, doing a review at Terrazza for his ever-famous 'One Bite' reviews that was posted Monday, was outside the shop with a box containing a pizza pie as someone off camera went by and yelled 'F–k the Jews' toward Portnoy. 'See, there we go, there we go,' Portnoy, who is Jewish, said after the person made the comment. Advertisement A few young fans of the Bartsool Sports head standing behind him then started to laugh, which led Portnoy to reprimand them. 'What are you guys f–king laughing about?' he said as he turned toward the fans, who then became quiet. 'Exactly. So here we go, one bite everybody knows the rules. We won't let that get … what is that Toronto hospitality there? Advertisement 'That's terrible, terrible ' said Bill the Greek, who was with Portnoy for the video in Canada. This incident comes about a month after a server at a Barstool Sports bar in Philadelphia allegedly carried out a sign during a bottle service that read 'f–k the Jews.' Dave Portnoy heard the comment during a pizza review in Toronto. One Bite Pizza Reviews/YouTube Two servers were fired and two Temple University students were suspended after the incident at Barstool Sansom. Advertisement 'We are saddened, embarrassed, and frustrated by the deplorable actions of a customer and misguided staff,' Barstool Samson Street said in a post after the incident. 'Who the f—k would do that sign in my f—king bar? You think I'm just gonna sit here? I'm gonna make it my f—king mission to put you in lights. My f—king mission,' Portnoy said in the immediate aftermath of the sign going viral. 'What I'm saying is, I'm getting the names, I'm trying to be a little responsible, I'm trying to keep it together, but I'm on it,' he said. 'But I'm on it. I'm f—king on it.' Portnoy chided the fans for laughing after the comments. One Bite Pizza Reviews/YouTube Advertisement Portnoy then offered two customers a trip to Auschwitz in Poland to better educate themselves, but he then took away the offer to at least one of the people, as Portnoy said the person denied responsibility for what happened after the Temple student allegedly posted the sign on social media. 'His trip to Poland has been revoked,' Portnoy said in a post on X. 'Whatever ramifications come his way he 100% earned.' 'I'm like trying to make this a teachable moment, throw a lifeline to a kid, and he's like, 'Well, I already got suspended from Temple' because you got a 'f–k the Jews' sign at a bar and posted it on social media,'' Portnoy added.

Trailer For Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell Time-Bending Romance A BIG BOLD BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY — GeekTyrant
The first trailer for Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell new film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey has arrived, and it looks like a beautifully made film with the makings of a quietly devastating, visually rich, emotionally charged fantasy about love, memory, and second chances. The film follows two lonely strangers, Sarah and David, who meet at a wedding and soon find themselves swept into a surreal, time-traveling adventure. But this isn't some bombastic sci-fi spectacle. It's intimate. Personal. They're not trying to save the world—they're just trying to understand their own. The official synopsis reads: 'What if you could open a doorway and walk through it and re-live a defining moment from your past? Sarah (Robbie) and David (Farrell) are both single strangers who meet at a mutual friend's wedding and soon, through a surprising twist of fate, find themselves on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey – a funny, fantastical, sweeping adventure together where they get to re-live important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present… and possibly getting a chance to alter their futures.' There's definitely a magical realism vibe to all of this with dreamlike moments, gentle sci-fi elements, and a focus on emotional truth. The movie is being directed byKogonada and he's new to this territory, with Columbus and After Yang , he's shown a ability to mix aching humanity with clean, contemplative aesthetics. Colin Farrell, speaking with Collider, described the project like this: 'It's kind of a love story, but it's not a very typical one. It's definitely magical realism. It's grounded in a world that we recognize, but it also is removed enough into the world of fantastical that it goes into these kinds of whimsical places. 'It's a story about being revisited by, but also having the opportunity to revisit certain moments in your past that were very formative.' He continued: 'It's about two people at a stage in their lives — Margot [Robbie]'s character and my character — that find themselves at an emotional crossroads where they're not living terrible lives, but life hasn't really worked out for them. 'They're both terrible at relationships. Neither have been able to find a moment's joy in relationships or companionship. And they begin to find that through each other, as a result of this one night where they go on this fantastical journey and get to see from an objective perspective these moments in their lives that, as I said, were very formative, and get to take accountability for times where they hurt people.' Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think! The movie is set to hit theaters on September 19th, 2025
