Palestinian media: Prisoner release means rights obtained through sacrifices

Saba Yemen27-02-2025

Gaza - Saba:
The Palestinian Prisoners' Information Office said the release of a new group of Palestinian prisoners is evidence of the battle of will that the people have waged, and evidence that rights are obtained through sacrifices, but not granted through bargaining.
The director of the office, Ahmed Al-Qudra, said on Thursday, in a press statement, that the seventh batch of the "Flood of the Free" deal was released after the resistance imposed its will.
He explained that it included the release of 642 prisoners, including 151 prisoners with life sentences and long sentences, distributed as follows: (43 prisoners will be released to the West Bank and Quds, 97 prisoners will be deported abroad, 11 prisoners from Gaza who were arrested before October 7) in addition to 445 prisoners from Gaza detainees after October 7 and 46 female and child prisoners.
Al-Qudra congratulated the released prisoners who gained their freedom after long years of captivity and suffering, and specifically mentioned the heroes of life sentences and long sentences who were sentenced to prison until the end of their lives, and the prisoners of Wafa Al-Ahrar who were re-arrested by the occupation, numbering 41 prisoners.
"The resistance fulfilled its promises and returned them to freedom again."
Al-Qudra stated that victory would not have been achieved without the sacrifices of our people, especially in Gaza, which offered its sons as martyrs and endured despite the pain, to be today the maker of freedom, as it has always been the symbol of steadfastness and resistance.
The Director of the Prisoners' Media Office called on the masses of our people to receive the prisoners as heroes "so that their return will be a scene confirming that they are symbols of struggle and steadfastness, and not just numbers for flags to be raised and chants to be heard, as this is the day of freedom, and our promise is that the path of struggle will remain open until the last prisoner achieves his freedom."

Hamdan district commemorates day of guardianship / al-Wilayah in Sana'a

Sana'a – Saba: Residents of Wadi'ah and Bani Mukram sub-districts in Hamadan district of Sana'a governorate on Monday organized a speech event to commemorate al-Wilayah day, held under the slogan "And support those who support him." Attended by local sheikhs and dignitaries, the speeches emphasized drawing lessons from Imam Ali's (peace be upon him) life of jihad, asceticism, courage, and sacrifices in support of the Noble Messenger and Islamic faith. Speakers explained that the Islamic nation's current state of defeat stems from its abandonment of the principle of Guardianship and the Prophet's commandment on the Day of Ghadir. The speakers stressed the need for the nation to return to the right path and strengthen its loyalty to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the beacons of guidance to confront forces of evil and global arrogance. The event also highlighted Yemenis' historical support for the Prophet and Imam Ali, their current confrontation with "global arrogance," and their backing of the Palestinian people and their resistance. The commemoration included poetry and performances reflecting Yemenis' connection to Imam Ali and the Prophet's family. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (Local)
