Karnataka SSLC 2 Results 2025: Exam Pattern
The KSEAB conducts SSLC 2 exam for subjects including First Language, Second Language, Third Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science.
The first language exam which focuses primarily on the native language, carries 100 marks, while the second and third language exams are conducted to test candidates knowledge of other languages, carrying 80 marks each.
The SSLC exam 1 result was declared on April 30 for a total of 8,42,173 candidates.
A total of 5,24,984 had passed the examination, amounting to a pass percentage of 62.43 per cent.

To qualify in the KSEAB SSLC exam, candidates are required to secure at least 35 percent marks in each subject. The board has implemented a grading system to categorize the performance of students. Those who score 90 percent or above are categorized as excellent and awarded Grade A+. Students scoring between 80 to 89 percent receive Grade A, while those obtaining 70 to 79 percent are given Grade B+. Candidates scoring between 60 to 69 percent are awarded Grade B, those with 50 to 59 percent receive Grade C+, and students scoring between 35 to 49 percent are given Grade C. Additionally, grace marks are provided to candidates who narrowly miss the minimum passing marks, ensuring deserving students are not penalized for minor shortfalls.
