Intel Organization: "Israel" continues to commit brutal genocide, starvation in Gaza with US support
Gaza – Saba:
The International Organization for Supporting the Rights of the Palestinian People (Hashed) confirmed on Sunday that while Muslims are celebrating Eid al-Adha, the Israeli enemy forces continue their aggression and commit the most heinous crimes of genocide and brutal massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip for more than 610 consecutive days, with American support and partnership.
The organization said in a statement that American support and partnership in the crimes of genocide against civilians in Gaza was manifested by its use of the veto against a draft resolution in the UN Security Council calling for an end to the genocide and ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid.
The organization considered the American veto a green light that gives the Israeli entity the green light to continue committing crimes and grave violations against Palestinian civilians, in addition to continuing American arms exports to Israel and supporting the "American-Israeli" plan to distribute aid as an alternative to the work of international humanitarian organizations.
Hashd called on the international community and the signatories to the Genocide Convention and the Geneva Convention to take immediate and urgent measures to halt the crime of genocide, ensure the unconditional flow of urgent humanitarian and medical aid under UN supervision, and abolish the illegal and immoral "American-Israeli" mechanism for distributing aid.
It called on the countries of the world to boycott the Israeli entity and impose sanctions on it, including an arms embargo, hold its political and military leaders accountable before international courts, and support the work of the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice.
It also called for immediate international protection for the residents of the Gaza Strip through the mechanisms of Chapter VII of the UN Charter and through the "United for Peace" formula to ensure the formation of an international humanitarian coalition and peacekeeping force within the framework of a vision to end the Israeli aggression, ensure the protection of civilians and civilian facilities, and provide humanitarian areas and corridors for the delivery of humanitarian and relief aid.
Hashd stressed the need to enable UNRWA and other humanitarian organizations to perform their duties without restrictions or obstructions from the Israeli enemy, and to ensure the protection of its workers and other humanitarian workers. It urged civil society and human rights organizations in the United States to take action before the American and international courts to prosecute Americans responsible for and complicit in crimes committed against civilians, particularly American companies responsible for the distribution centers for American-Israeli aid.
It also called on the free people of the world to continue their efforts and popular movements to pressure third countries to fulfill their moral and legal obligations to stop the genocidal war and Israeli aggression, support the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, end the Israeli aggression, and dismantle the racist settlement system.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 54,880 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 126,227 others. This remains a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue crews.

Jihad mourns death of its leader, Raeq Basharat, in Tubas
Tubas - Saba: The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine has moured the death of its leader, Raeq Abdulrahman Basharat, to the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic world. Basharat was assassinated by the Israeli special forces last night in the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas. In a press statement issued Wednesday, the Islamic Jihad Movement said, "The martyred leader played a prominent role during the 1987 Intifada and was subjected to an assassination attempt in 2002, during which his wife was martyred and his hands were amputated." It noted that Basharat had been arrested numerous times, totaling over nine years, and had gone on a hunger strike for 53 days in 2022 to protest his administrative detention before his release. It emphasized that Basharat "never hesitated to fulfill his duty and pursued his responsibilities with unwavering determination and resolve." The movement stressed that the targeting of leaders and mujahideen by the Israeli enemy's gangs will not weaken the resolve of the Palestinian people, nor will it weaken the resistance's will to continue confronting the occupation. Rather, their pure blood, which waters the land of Palestine, will produce generations more resilient and more formidable. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

Israeli Knesset to vote today to dissolve itself
Occupied al-Quds - Saba: The Israeli Knesset is expected to vote Wednesday to dissolve itself at the request of the Israeli opposition. According to Israeli sources, this move comes following a dispute over a bill to conscript more ultra-Orthodox Jews into military service. The Israeli Supreme Court ruled on June 25, 2024, that military service would be compulsory for Jews (Haredi) and that financial support for religious institutions whose students refuse to be conscripted would be suspended. The Knesset will only be dissolved if the bill passes four separate votes: a preliminary reading today, Wednesday, followed by three additional readings. Final approval of the bill requires a majority of 61 votes of the 120 Knesset members. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

Maghreb "Resilience Convoy" continues journey to break siege on Gaza
Tripoli - Saba: The Maghreb "Resilience Convoy/Sumud" to break the siege on the Gaza Strip continued its journey to Egypt on Wednesday, then to the border with the Strip after entering Libya. The convoy's organizers announced the start of the second phase of the journey. The first group of the Maghreb "Resilience Convoy" to break the siege on Gaza arrived Tuesday, from Tunisia to the Libyan city of al-Zawiya, 51 km from the capital, Tripoli. Dr. Mohammed Amin Balnour, the medical coordinator of the "Resilience Convoy" to Break the Siege on Gaza, stated that the reception in Libya "was exceptional, and people took to the streets to greet the convoy, while Libyan security personnel gave it an official salute." Balnour added that the Libyans "provided the convoy with all necessary aid, including food, cold water, and other supplies." Regarding the health status of the convoy members, Balnour said, "The health situation is good, with only some cases of travel fatigue." He added, "One patient was returned to Tunisia from Ben Guerdane on the border with Libya." The convoy set off on Monday morning from Tunis, heading for Gaza, in an attempt to break the Israeli blockade and show solidarity with the Palestinians. Approximately 1,700 activists are participating in the convoy, with others expected to join them on the way to the Libyan border, along with Libyan organizations and supporters. According to the activists' overland journey, the starting point was Tunis, heading south toward the Tunisian-Libyan border. The journey will extend across Libya to its border with Egypt, and then to the Rafah land crossing. The overland convoy is expected to arrive in Cairo on Thursday and then head to the Rafah crossing, where it will arrive on Sunday, according to what the organizers posted on their social media page. Approximately 1,500 Tunisian civil society and human rights activists, as well as approximately 200 Algerians, participated in this first-of-its-kind land convoy to break the siege on Gaza. Others, along with Libyan organizations and supporters, will join the convoy en route to the Libyan border. According to organizers, nine buses and 100 private cars set out from the Tunisian capital toward the Libyan border. Additional Libyan vehicles are expected to join the convoy as it travels toward the Egyptian border. The Arab "Sumud" convoy comes as Israeli occupation authorities intercepted the ship "Madeleine," carrying 12 international activists. The convoy is part of an international civil society movement that includes more than 30 countries in partnership with the Global March to Gaza, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, and the Joint Action Coordination for Palestine. Organizers said the convoy is not carrying aid to Gaza, but rather aims to carry out a "symbolic" mission in the Palestinian enclave, which the United Nations has described as the hungriest place on earth. Israel recently allowed limited aid into Gaza after a nearly three-month land blockade. The limited aid allowed by the Israeli occupation authorities is distributed through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which is supported by Israel and the United States, is rejected by the UN, and has faced widespread criticism for its distribution mechanism.
