At the Cité des bébés, a plastic-free space
Nestled within the Cité des sciences, this space designed for relaxation and contemplation invites parents to get down to their baby's level. Inside this little oasis, toddlers who can walk are free to explore barefoot, discover a Tuareg tent, a sound sculpture made from neckties – yes, really – or a snail-shaped bathtub. Infants can crawl among cushions, lounge in hammocks suspended from the ceiling, or develop their fine motor skills with toys provided on site. This Ciré des bébés, which is outfitted exclusively with upcycled materials and no plastic toys, is open to little ones from birth to 23 months, with only about 40 spots available.
