Over 350 illegal street vendors arrested in Dubai
As many as 375 street vendors, who illegally sold food and counterfeit goods, have been arrested in Dubai during the first half of Ramadan.
In a post on its official social media handle, the Dubai Police confirmed that numerous vehicles used to transfer the illegal items were also seized.
"These actions violate public safety regulations and health requirements set by the relevant authorities," the authority added.

"(We) adopt a holistic humanitarian approach to managing female inmates, extending beyond correctional aspects to include emotional and social support, upholding their dignity and rights,' Col Al Zaabi continued. The UAE and Ireland have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening legal cooperation after the extradition of an Irish national accused of murder and links to a criminal network. Sean McGovern, who is believed to be part of the Irish Kinahan criminal network, was arrested in Dubai in October 2024 after an Interpol Red Notice was issued.
