And when Sinner cancelled a practice on Tuesday, one day after falling and hurting his elbow in his lucky escape against an even-more-badly-injured Grigor Dimitrov, everyone wondered whether the Italian would play at all on Wednesday.

West Ham closing in on signing of wing-back previously wanted by Crystal Palace and Brighton in £22m deal
West Ham are closing on the signing of Slavia Prague wing-back El Hadji Malick Diouf. The Hammers have had an offer of £22million plus a further £5million in add ons accepted and final details are in the throes of being completed.
