About AELIS FARMA
Founded in Bordeaux in 2013, Aelis Farma is a biopharmaceutical company that is developing a new class of drugs, the Signaling Specific inhibitors of the CB1 receptor of the endocannabinoid system (CB1-SSi). CB1-SSi have been developed by Aelis Farma based on the discovery of a natural regulatory mechanism of CB1 hyperactivity made by the team led by Dr Pier Vincenzo Piazza, the Company's CEO, when he was the director of the Neurocentre Magendie of INSERM in Bordeaux. By mimicking this natural mechanism, CB1-SSi appear to selectively inhibit the disease-related activity of the CB1 receptor without disrupting its normal physiological activity. CB1-SSi have consequently the potential to provide new safe treatments for several brain and peripheral organ diseases.
Aelis Farma currently has two first-in-class clinical-stage drug candidates. AEF0117 for the treatment of cannabis use disorders (CUD), that has shown to be able to decrease cannabis use across two studies. AEF0217 for cognitive disorders, which has shown in a Phase 1/2 to be safe and able to improve adaptive behaviour in young adults with Down syndrome (Trisomy 21). The clinical results obtained with these 2 molecules have confirmed the pharmacological activity of CB1-SSi in humans. The Company also has a portfolio of new innovative CB1-SSi for the treatment of other disorders associated with a dysregulation of the activity of the CB1 receptor, including diseases involving peripheral organs, such as obesity and related metabolic conditions. The different drugs developed by the company belong to the same general pharmacological class, the CB1-SSi, but have distinct functional effects allowing to target different types of dysregulations of the CB1 receptor and guaranteeing that the different compounds are not substitutable one with the others.
Aelis Farma draws on the talents of more than 25 highly qualified employees.

KKR Forms A$500 Million Strategic Partnership with CleanPeak Energy to Launch New Distributed Energy Platform

SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global investment firm KKR today announced the signing of definitive agreements under which funds managed by KKR will commit A$500 million to strategically partner with CleanPeak Energy ('CleanPeak') to rapidly grow its distributed energy platform. KKR's investment will support CleanPeak in growing and developing a pipeline of distributed solar, battery storage and micro‑grid solutions for Australia's commercial and industrial ('C&I') sector. Co-founded by Philip Graham and Jon Hare in 2017, CleanPeak is a leading provider of fully financed, integrated solar‑and‑storage systems for blue‑chip corporates across Australia. The company operates over 50 distributed generation sites across Australia including over 140MW of Solar Assets and 35MWH of Battery Energy Storage System ('BESS') projects, and is currently delivering over $200m of construction projects in the sector. 'By combining CleanPeak's proven operating platform with KKR's global network, operational expertise, and deep experience across our energy and infrastructure teams, we are well positioned to unlock significant opportunities for corporate customers looking to decarbonise and reduce their energy bills.' CleanPeak Chief Executive Philip Graham welcomed the strategic partnership, 'KKR is a perfect strategic partner for us as we seek to rapidly expand renewable energy solutions for our customers. They bring deep energy transition expertise, financial strength and a partnership mindset that will allow CleanPeak to continue to offer net zero solutions at the same time as accelerating our growth plans through bolt‑on acquisitions. Together, we will deliver reliable, lower‑carbon energy for corporate Australia.' 'CleanPeak's distributed energy approach reduces network costs which make up a significant portion of the all-in cost of retail electricity and results in more competitive power prices for our customers,' said Jon Hare, CleanPeak's Chief Operating Officer. KKR is making this investment from its Global Climate Transition strategy. This investment marks the strategy's first in Asia-Pacific and its sixth transaction globally, underscoring KKR's conviction in the energy‑transition opportunity set. Since 2010, KKR has committed more than US$34 billion in climate and environmental sustainability investments. Past investments have included Zenobē, a UK-based transport electrification and battery storage solutions specialist; EGC, an energy service provider in Germany; Dawsongroup, an independent asset leasing business which provides a diverse range of business-critical solutions; Avantus, a solar and solar-plus-storage developer in the US; and IGNIS P2X, an industrial decarbonisation platform. FirstCash Holdings' (NASDAQ:FCFS) Upcoming Dividend Will Be Larger Than Last Year's

The board of FirstCash Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:FCFS) has announced that it will be paying its dividend of $0.42 on the 29th of August, an increased payment from last year's comparable dividend. Despite this raise, the dividend yield of 1.4% is only a modest boost to shareholder returns. This technology could replace computers: discover the 20 stocks are working to make quantum computing a reality. FirstCash Holdings' Payment Could Potentially Have Solid Earnings Coverage The dividend yield is a little bit low, but sustainability of the payments is also an important part of evaluating an income stock. Before making this announcement, FirstCash Holdings was easily earning enough to cover the dividend. This means that most of what the business earns is being used to help it grow. Looking forward, earnings per share is forecast to rise by 21.0% over the next year. Assuming the dividend continues along recent trends, we think the payout ratio could be 22% by next year, which is in a pretty sustainable range. Check out our latest analysis for FirstCash Holdings FirstCash Holdings Is Still Building Its Track Record Even though the company has been paying a consistent dividend for a while, we would like to see a few more years before we feel comfortable relying on it. Since 2016, the dividend has gone from $0.50 total annually to $1.68. This works out to be a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 14% a year over that time. FirstCash Holdings has been growing its dividend quite rapidly, which is exciting. However, the short payment history makes us question whether this performance will persist across a full market cycle. The Dividend Looks Likely To Grow Investors could be attracted to the stock based on the quality of its payment history. It's encouraging to see that FirstCash Holdings has been growing its earnings per share at 13% a year over the past five years. Growth in EPS bodes well for the dividend, as does the low payout ratio that the company is currently reporting. FirstCash Holdings Looks Like A Great Dividend Stock Overall, we think this could be an attractive income stock, and it is only getting better by paying a higher dividend this year. Distributions are quite easily covered by earnings, which are also being converted to cash flows. Taking this all into consideration, this looks like it could be a good dividend opportunity. Companies possessing a stable dividend policy will likely enjoy greater investor interest than those suffering from a more inconsistent approach. However, there are other things to consider for investors when analysing stock performance. Taking the debate a bit further, we've identified 2 warning signs for FirstCash Holdings that investors need to be conscious of moving forward. Looking for more high-yielding dividend ideas? Bread Financial Holdings (NYSE:BFH) Has Affirmed Its Dividend Of $0.21

The board of Bread Financial Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:BFH) has announced that it will pay a dividend on the 12th of September, with investors receiving $0.21 per share. This payment means the dividend yield will be 1.3%, which is below the average for the industry. While the dividend yield is important for income investors, it is also important to consider any large share price moves, as this will generally outweigh any gains from distributions. Investors will be pleased to see that Bread Financial Holdings' stock price has increased by 31% in the last 3 months, which is good for shareholders and can also explain a decrease in the dividend yield. AI is about to change healthcare. These 20 stocks are working on everything from early diagnostics to drug discovery. The best part - they are all under $10bn in marketcap - there is still time to get in early. Bread Financial Holdings' Earnings Will Easily Cover The Distributions It would be nice for the yield to be higher, but we should also check if higher levels of dividend payment would be sustainable. Bread Financial Holdings has established itself as a dividend paying company, given its 9-year history of distributing earnings to shareholders. Using data from its latest earnings report, Bread Financial Holdings' payout ratio sits at 14%, an extremely comfortable number that shows that it can pay its dividend. Over the next 3 years, EPS is forecast to expand by 37.5%. Analysts forecast the future payout ratio could be 12% over the same time horizon, which is a number we think the company can maintain. View our latest analysis for Bread Financial Holdings Bread Financial Holdings' Dividend Has Lacked Consistency Even in its relatively short history, the company has reduced the dividend at least once. This suggests that the dividend might not be the most reliable. Since 2016, the annual payment back then was $2.08, compared to the most recent full-year payment of $0.84. Doing the maths, this is a decline of about 9.6% per year. Generally, we don't like to see a dividend that has been declining over time as this can degrade shareholders' returns and indicate that the company may be running into problems. The Dividend's Growth Prospects Are Limited Dividends have been going in the wrong direction, so we definitely want to see a different trend in the earnings per share. Although it's important to note that Bread Financial Holdings' earnings per share has basically not grown from where it was five years ago, which could erode the purchasing power of the dividend over time. Our Thoughts On Bread Financial Holdings' Dividend In summary, while it's good to see that the dividend hasn't been cut, we are a bit cautious about Bread Financial Holdings' payments, as there could be some issues with sustaining them into the future. The low payout ratio is a redeeming feature, but generally we are not too happy with the payments Bread Financial Holdings has been making. We would probably look elsewhere for an income investment. It's important to note that companies having a consistent dividend policy will generate greater investor confidence than those having an erratic one. At the same time, there are other factors our readers should be conscious of before pouring capital into a stock. Taking the debate a bit further, we've identified 2 warning signs for Bread Financial Holdings that investors need to be conscious of moving forward. Looking for more high-yielding dividend ideas?
