Man Dies After Falling from 2nd Deck onto Media Area in UEFA NL Final

Rana Atef On Sunday, a fan died after falling from the second deck onto a media area during the UEFA Nations League final between Portugal and Spain. The incident at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany occurred during the first half of extra time, according to the Associated Press, ESPN and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). In a statement on Monday morning, the UEFA confirmed the fan died, according to the outlets. "There was a medical emergency at the Munich arena, and despite the best efforts of the medical team, the person sadly passed away at 00:06 (CET). Cristiano Ronaldo equalized for Portugal in the 61st minute, taking advantage of a defensive mistake by Spain.
