GRAHAM Norton revealed why he was spotted with his arm in a sling after undergoing a secret surgery.
The Irish TV presenter, 61, is serving as the host for the BBC's Eurovision Song Contest this weekend.

Graham, who hosts an eponymous talk show on the Beeb, was a guest on Scott Mills' BBC Radio 2 show on Friday.
He appeared alongside former Eurovision winner, Concnita Wurst, on the radio show when Scott asked them both to reveal something they had not spoken about in interviews previously.
Graham announced: "I have a good one," before revealing he'd undergone major surgery on his shoulder.
"This is my left shoulder's first appearance on radio, (it's) a brand new shoulder. It's less than two weeks old," he told Scott and Conchita.
When asked how he was feeling after the operation, Graham replied: "It feels a bit new, it's a little owie (sore), but forgive me, I'm on many, many medications right now, so if I say anything bad, it's not my fault."
He was also seen at the recent Bafta Television Awards show sporting a black sling for his arm.
The TV star has not divulged the reason for his surgery, but appears to be on the mend.
Graham is in Basel, Switzerland for this year's Eurovision contest and has served as a long-time host of the BBC's production of the singing spectacle.
The UK will be represented by Remember Monday, who is the first girl group to represent the UK at Eurovision since Precious in 1999.
The first semi-final of Eurovison 2025 took place on Tuesday, May 13, and the second was held on Thursday, May 15.

In honor of this year's competition, Eurovision fans were asked to vote for their favourite British Eurovision entries of all time.
Bucks Fizz's Making Your Mind Up, Sam Ryder's Space Man and Brotherhood of Man's Save Your Kisses for Me came top of the pile.
Cliff Richard's first Eurovision entry in 1968, Congratulations, and Katrina and the Waves' Love Shine a Light, the last Eurovision win for the UK in 1997, make up the remainder of the top five, in a study of 2,000 adults.
Others to feature in the top UK Eurovision songs include Lulu with Boom Bang-a-Bang from 1969, and Sonia's Better the Devil You Know, which finished an agonising second place in 1993.

The fifth winners of Race Across the World have been crowned after a rollercoaster final on the BBC. The remaining teams faced one last dash to reach the last checkpoint on a truly mammoth journey. After eight weeks - and around 14,000km - four pairs successfully completed the journey from the Great Wall of China to Kanyakumari in India. It is an incredible journey that has taken them across two of the most populous countries in the world - via Nepal. The final of Race Across the World's fifth series took place tonight (June 11) and just over seven hours separated the top three teams heading into the last leg. Race Across the World series 5 finalists | BBC Heading into the final leg of the mammoth race from China to the bottom of India, mother and son duo Caroline and Tom were in the lead. They reclaimed the top spot at the end of last week's seventh leg - as then-leaders Brian and Melvyn saw themselves tumble to the bottom of the leader board after opting for the rural route and avoiding Mumbai and falling 17 hours behind. EXCLUSIVE Ncuti Gatwa spoke at pro-Palestine rally outside Parliament just days after sudden on-screen exit as Doctor Who
As the BBC 's Doctor Who, Ncuti Gatwa came under fire when he mysteriously pulled out of his Eurovision hosting duties moments after Israel qualified last month. Now it can be revealed that three days after the actor departed Doctor Who, he spoke at a pro-Palestine demonstration outside parliament. On 3 June, the actor, 32, stood in front of a banner reading ' Gaza: Actions Not Words' and delivered a speech to hundreds of people at the Westminster event, organised by Choose Love – a charity that this week supported Greta Thunberg 's 'selfie yacht' trip to Gaza. Gatwa had withdrawn from his role as a Eurovision Grand Final spokesman just 18 days before his speech at the rally. It has prompted renewed speculation as to his motivation for pulling out of the role and whether the BBC was aware that he would do so if Israel qualified. He had been due to announce the UK jury's points during the live broadcast but was replaced at short notice by singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, 46. The BBC made the change public only two minutes after Israel qualified for the final – prompting speculation that his withdrawal was a protest. The broadcaster cited 'unforeseen circumstances' as the reason. The timing raised eyebrows, as Israel's contestant, Yuval Raphael – a survivor of the October 7 Nova music festival attack – secured her place in the final that same evening. Gatwa has previously expressed support for the Palestinian cause on social media, sharing images of 'Free Palestine' graffiti and promoting fundraising campaigns. The Rwanda-born, Scotland-raised actor made history as the first Black actor to lead Doctor Who, taking on the role of the Fifteenth Doctor in 2023. However, his tenure ended after just two series, making him the second shortest-serving Doctor in the show's history – only Christopher Eccleston's single-series run was shorter. Gatwa's departure was announced in May 2025, when his character regenerated into Rose Tyler played by Billie Piper, 42, ending his 18-month stint in the Tardis. One attendee at the Westminster rally told the Mail: 'He actually read out the names of deceased Palestinian children from his mobile. 'Ncuti appears unaware that, despite his support for Palestine, he could face serious risks in parts of the Middle East. Given the timing – coming so soon after the Eurovision controversy and his abrupt departure from Doctor Who – his appearance may reflect a belief that his position at the BBC had become untenable.' He was joined at the rally by comedian Alexei Sayle and his former Doctor Who co-star Varada Sethu. Sethu, 33, who played companion Belinda Chandra in Doctor Who, who left the sci-fi show at the time as Gatwa, also spoke at the rally.
