The choirs will sing the song at their weekly rehearsals
Members of more than 20 community choirs will mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a rendition of Dame Vera Lynn's wartime classic The White Cliffs of Dover.
Buskerteers Choirs will perform the song at rehearsals including in Haywards Heath, Ipswich, Crawley and Brighton.
Footage from across the south and east of England will be compiled into montages, to be shared by the choirs.
The campaign is raising money for the Royal British Legion, supporting veterans and their families.

Founder Andrew Small says the choir is "incredibly proud" to be marking the anniversary with the song which he says "so beautifully captures the spirit of hope during wartime".
He said: "As we aim to raise £1,000 for the Royal British Legion, we do so in heartfelt remembrance of those who made immense sacrifices for our freedom.
"It's more important than ever that we come together to honour their legacy and ensure their stories are never forgotten."
The song was one of several of Dame Vera Lynn's which helped raise morale during World War Two.
VE Day marked the end of World War Two in Europe when huge crowds took to the streets on 8 May 1945 to sing, dance and rejoice after nearly six years of war.
The Buskerteers Choir includes 28 community choirs which are open to everyone and they aim to raise £1m for charity through busking and performance.
Videos will also feature choirs in Chelmsford, Cambridge, the New Forest, Bury St Edmunds and Bournemouth among others.

Perrie Edwards keeps it casual in stylish white oversized T-shirt and jeans while leaving Heart FM studios

Perrie Edwards kept it casual as she strut out of the Heart FM studios in London on Wednesday. The singer, 32, wore a stylish white oversized Jacquemus T-shirt, teamed with jeans and gold sandals. She accessorised with rectangle sunglasses and a gold chain handbag to match her jewellery. Perrie is currently promoting her new song If He Wanted To He Would, which she announced on Instagram this week. It comes after Perrie put on a stylish display as she departed the Hawaiian Tropics Endless Sessions in London. The singer, who performed an acoustic set for lucky competition winners, wore a plunging blazer dress for the event. She teamed the oversized number with a pair of platform flip flops and styled her hair into beachy waves. Perrie performed a number of her hit songs including Forget About Us and Little Mix tracks, Touch and Black Magic. It's been a busy month for the musician who recently celebrated her 32nd birthday with her fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The singer, who shares son Axel, three, with her husband to be, enjoyed a dinner out at a sushi restaurant as well as celebrations at their Cheshire home and shared an insight to Instagram. For their evening out, Perrie looked incredible in a sexy black blazer dress, teasing her black bralet with a deeply plunging neckline. Perrie wore her blonde locks in a bouncy blown out style and completed her look with a pair of peep-toe heels and a black bag. Alex, 31, opted for a simple but stylish look for their evening together in a boxy white T-shirt with black trousers and a pair of white trainers. Their home was decorated with rainbow balloons and fun banners of Perrie's face alongside the words 'birthday b****'. The rainbow theme continued with a sprinkle-covered cake with had the words 'Happy Birthday Perrie' iced onto the top of the cake. Perrie and the professional footballer announced their engagement in April 2022 after going public with their relationship in 2017. She recently recalled the moment she told Alex that she loved him for the first time early in their romance. Appearing on the Capital Evening show with Jimmy Hill, the former Little Mix star revealed how she stumbled over the romantic admission. She said: 'In my real life I can never say exactly what I mean... but I feel like in my music it's different. 'I remember the first time I told Alex I loved him, I was on a night out with the [Little Mix] girls and they were gearing me up - and for some reason I had a pan, right? 'I had a frying pan because Alex told me he liked pancakes so I went out of my way to buy a pan, but we had promo. 'So I'm on a night out, with a frickin' frying pan thinking, 'I'm gonna make his dreams come true, I'm gonna make him pancakes in the morning.' The singer went on: 'I remember saying to the girls, 'I think I love him... but I think he loves me too' and the girls were like, "Then just tell him". 'They geared me up within an inch of life and I was raring to go.' But when it came to the big moment, the singer admitted that she was 'speechless'. She continued: 'I couldn't find the words, I couldn't articulate myself, I was like panicking... my heartbeat was in my head. And I just went, "I think I'm falling in love with you", so aggressively.' After managing to get her words out, she revealed that Alex said he was in love with her too.

Mariah Carey snubs Meghan Markle after THAT 'diva' controversy in interview ahead of Sandringham show

pointedly snubbed Meghan Markle during a wild new interview - three years after the pair had a memorably tense exchange over being a 'diva. ' Pop icon Carey, 56, was quizzed on her interactions with the Royal family ahead of her performance at King Charles ' Sandringham House - but seemed to forget she had met Duchess of Sussex Markle, 44 on the latter's Archetypes podcast in 2022. Appearing on Hits Radio this week, a stoic Carey was asked if she had ever met the Royals, with the star responding curtly: 'Fergie [Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York ], I thought she was cool.' While Markle and husband Prince Harry stepped back as working Royals in 2020, the former Suits star is still a member of the Royal family. During her fractious appearance on Archetypes on episode 'The Duality of Diva', Carey branded Markle a 'diva' before the singer quickly reassured her that she was referring to her posture her clothing and her 'gorgeous ensembles' - and not her personality - the duchess claimed. The pair had talked about the 'complexities surrounding the word diva' and the negative connotations associated with it before Carey accused the duchess of being a 'diva'. 'I think that's really important for people to remember that there might be this persona, and yes, the diva thing, we can play into,' said Meghan during the podcast, before adding: 'It's not something I connect to.' However, Mariah was quick to disagree with the Duchess, insisting: 'You give us diva moments sometimes, Meghan, don't even act like. 'What kind of diva moments do I give you?' a shocked Meghan replied, to which the singer said: 'Don't act like...', before the Duchess questioned: 'Can you see me right now?' 'It's also the visual, it's the visual,' Mariah explained. 'A lot of it is the look, let's say you, let's pretend that you weren't so beautiful and didn't have the whole thing, and didn't often have gorgeous ensembles, you wouldn't maybe get as much diva. 'I don't care, I'm like when I can, I'm going to give you diva,' she added, while Markle said: 'That's the thing, I associate it differently.' Markle then later claimed in her podcast that Carey was complimenting her by calling her a diva, adding: 'My fangirling was tempered today. I kind of think she could tell. But that aside, it was all going swimmingly, really well, until that moment happened, which I don't know about you, but it stopped me in my tracks. When she called me a diva. 'You couldn't see me, obviously, but I started to sweat a little bit and started squirming in my chair in this quiet revolt, like "wait, no, what, how could you? That's not true, why would you say that?"' 'My mind was genuinely just spinning with what nonsense she must have read or clicked on to make her say that, and I just kept thinking in that moment was my girl crush coming to a quick demise? Does she actually not see me? While Markle and husband Prince Harry stepped back as working Royals in 2020, the former Suits star is still a member of the Royal family - pictured 2024 During her appearance on Archetypes on episode 'The Duality of Diva', Carey branded Markle a 'diva' before the singer quickly reassured her that she was referring to her posture her clothing and her 'gorgeous ensembles' - and not her personality - the duchess claimed 'So, she must have felt my nervous laughter, and you would've all heard it too, and she jumped straight in to make sure I was crystal clear when she said diva, she was talking about the way that I dress, the posture, the clothing, the quote, unquote fabulousness, as she sees it. 'She meant diva as a compliment, but I heard it as a dig, I heard it as the word diva as I think of it, but in that moment as she explained to me, she meant it as chic, as aspirational, and how one very charged word can mean something different for each of us, it's mind-blowing to me.' Meghan continued: 'It actually made me realize, and in these episodes as I've opened the door for conversations surrounding archetypes that try to hold us back, what I hadn't considered is that for some, reclaiming the words is what they feel will propel us forward.'
