EXCLUSIVE 70s actress known for playing Happy Days star's girlfriend is unrecognizable on rare outing... can you guess who?
Fans of classic television were delighted to spot one of Happy Days' most memorable stars out and about in Los Angeles this week, as the actress made a rare appearance at age 71.
The TV favorite looked effortlessly radiant behind the wheel of her SUV, flashing a sunny smile.
Dressed in a laid-back blue plaid shirt and well-worn jeans, she was nearly unrecognizable from her glammed-up days on-screen—especially when compared to the flashy showgirl attire she sported in her short-lived 1977 spinoff Blansky's Beauties.
The Florida-born actress didn't stop with sitcom fame, later popping up in fan-favorite films like Beaches and Pretty Woman.
She even took on a risqué role in the 1994 comedy Exit to Eden alongside Rosie O'Donnell.
Can you guess which iconic supporting star this is?

If you guessed Lynda Goodfriend, you nailed it!
Goodfriend joined Happy Days in its fifth season as Lori Beth Allen, Richie Cunningham's wholesome college sweetheart, eventually becoming his wife in a special long-distance wedding ceremony officiated via telephone from Army training.
Though originally introduced as a recurring character, Lynda's warm chemistry with Ron Howard and endearing screen presence quickly made her a fan favorite, earning her a more regular role in the later seasons.
Happy Days ended in 1984, after running for 11 seasons and a total of 255 episodes.
'Without a doubt, the eight years I spent on the hit TV show, Happy Days, playing Lori Beth, Ron Howard's girlfriend, were the most fun of all the work I've done,' she told the New York Film Academy in 2023.
She added, 'I also toured with a Broadway production called Good News with Alice Faye.
'We did nine months on the road before we opened on Broadway, performing and getting reviews in all the major cities in the US. Being on tour – That was a blast!'
Goodfriend graduated from Coral Gables High School in Florida and went on to earn a BFA in drama from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Before her breakout on Happy Days, she starred as Ethel 'Sunshine' Akalino on the short-lived series Blansky's Beauties and later joined Happy Days alongside co-star Scott Baio.
She first appeared on the show in a guest role as Kim during Season 4 before returning in Season 5 as the beloved Lori Beth, Richie Cunningham's sweet-natured girlfriend and eventual wife.
Goodfriend remained on the show for eight seasons, becoming a fan favorite and staple of the series.
Beyond her sitcom fame, she appeared in several Garry Marshall films, including Pretty Woman, Beaches, Nothing in Common, and Exit to Eden.
She also performed on Broadway in Good News (1974) and appeared in classic productions like Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, and She Loves Me.
Behind the scenes, she directed TV projects, including the pilot Four Stars, and in 2009, the short film The Perfect Crime.
Goodfriend also founded the Actors Workout Theater and School in NoHo, worked in talent management, and currently serves as acting chair at the New York Film Academy.

Maybe Happy Ending, a romantic-comedy about a pair of androids falling in love, has won six Tony Awards, including best new musical. Starring Darren Criss and Helen J Shen, Maybe Happy Ending enjoyed huge success at the 78th annual ceremony held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on Sunday. The acclaimed Broadway production's awards also included Criss winning best leading actor in a musical, alongside prizes for best direction of a musical, best original theatre score, best book of a musical, and best scenic design of a musical. In other awards, Purpose, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' drawing room drama about an accomplished black family exposing hypocrisy and pressures during a snowed-in gathering, won best new play. Jacobs-Jenkins becomes the first black playwright to win the award since August Wilson took home the accolade in 1987 for Fences. It underlines a triumphant year for Jacobs-Jenkins after scooping the Pulitzer Prize for Purpose - and winning back-to-back Tonys after his Appropriate won best play revival in 2024. Kara Young - the first black female actor to be nominated for a Tony in four consecutive years - became the first black person to win two awards consecutively, picking up the trophy for featured actress in a play for her work in Purpose. Sunset Blvd won best musical revival, handing composer Andrew Lloyd Webber his first competitive Tony since 1995, when the original show won. The current version is a stripped-down, minimalist production. Sarah Snook took home the trophy for leading actress in a play for her tireless work in The Picture Of Dorian Gray, where she plays all 26 roles. "I don't feel alone any night that I do this show," Snook said, dismissing the idea of her play as a one-woman show. George Clooney debuts huge makeover after revealing wife Amal's complaint
George Clooney is back to being a silver fox, and we have Amal Clooney to thank due to her reaction to his dyed brown hair. The Ocean's Eleven actor, 64, is well known for his grey hair, which he has had since his twenties, but he reached for the dye bottle during his recent stage role in Broadway's Good Night, and Good Luck. Hitting the red carpet at the Tony Awards, Clooney had ditched the brown locks and was back to his usual self, posing alongside Amal, 47, in a suave black tuxedo. Amal looked glamorous as ever in an off-shoulder white beaded dress, with her own brunette tresses curled and pulled to the side. Speaking to People on the red carpet, Clooney revealed how happy Amal was that he had cut his hair – and therefore the brown dye out – after finding his drastic look 'funny.' 'Oh man, my wife [Amal] was the happiest person when I came home after the play today and I'd cut all the hair off,' he revealed. 'Because, you know, I looked like a drug dealer with that bad black dye job.' Last week, during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, he covered his hair with a cap while revealing how his wife, whom he wed in 2014, felt about it. 'She thinks it's funny. She'll be glad when it's gone,' he told host Meyers. In an interview with CBS Mornings in April, he confided that he himself had found it a struggle to adapt to. 'I'm not used to it. You never get used to it,' he said. Listen, I started getting gray when I was 25, so I've been gray most of my life. So it's not my favorite look, and my wife, she thinks it's funny.' Amal isn't the only one who has been left giggling over George's transformation, as he told Gayle King about twins Alexander and Ella's reaction. 'They laugh at it because, honestly, nothing makes you look older than being 63 and dying your hair,' he said. More Trending It comes weeks after George made a shock marriage confession, insisting he and Amal have never had an argument. 'Amal and I are having a really great time in life,' he told the host. 'Our kids are seven, about to be eight, which is a pretty great age. They're really curious and funny,' he told Gayle during an interview. 'Every parent thinks their kids are great – our kids are funny, and make us laugh. 'We were here with you once before, and I remember we said we'd never had an argument. We still haven't. We're trying to find something to fight about!' Got a story?
