McKenna explains how Croatian legend sold him on Zagreb move
"I hope I play well and that Scotland will be proud of me.
Read more:
"A lot of Croatian players have played in Scotland in recent years, but obviously no one before me has gone the other way.
"I'm happy to be here. This is a huge club and I'm grateful for the opportunity they've given me. I'm looking forward to playing here for a few years.
"First, my agent called me about the interest from Dinamo and then I spoke to Zvonimir Boban.
"The great thing was that the conversation wasn't just about football, the whole family got involved. He even spoke to my girlfriend. We all felt welcome even before I officially arrived. It wasn't a difficult decision. I know they are a huge club because of everything they have done in European competitions. Growing up, I heard about them because they were always competitive in Europe. When I got the call, I didn't hesitate.
"Dinamo gives me the opportunity to play in Europe and win trophies and I really liked that. They have been very successful for many years and I want to be a part of it."

Manchester United open talks to sign Benjamin Sesko
The Old Trafford side also looked at Watkins but Villa insisted the England striker was not for sale and United were unwilling to pay out the sort of fee for a 29-year-old that might have tested Villa's resolve. Arsenal are thought to have had a bid of around £40m rejected for Watkins in January and it is thought it would have taken a far higher fee for Villa to even contemplate selling. Newcastle have endured a torrid summer in the transfer market and have already lost out to United for Mbeumo and the prospect of missing out on another key target should Sesko opt for Old Trafford would be a fresh blow to Eddie Howe. United have looked at a host of strikers this year as they bid to beef up their attack and feel Sesko would be a strong long-term option. Their interest in Sesko dates as far back as 2019 when they were considering a move before he joined Red Bull Salzburg. Sesko is contracted to Leipzig until 2029 but there is thought to be an understanding that he would be allowed to leave the German club this summer if the right offer came in. Any successful move for Sesko could raise fresh doubts over the future of Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund, who endured a tough second season at Old Trafford. It would also increase the pressure on United to offload the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Jadon Sancho to help balance the books. Move for Donnarumma United also remain interested in adding a goalkeeper before the close of the transfer window. They are understood to have made an enquiry about Paris St-Germain and Italy No 1 Gianluigi Donnarumma earlier in the summer. PSG are in the process of signing goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille and the European champions are thought to be braced for United renewing their interest in Donnarumma once that deal is complete. Donnarumma, 26, has 12 months left on his contract and, while PSG are happy to keep him, it is thought they are open to selling if the right bid comes in. United made an enquiry to Villa in the past fortnight about loaning Emi Martinez but were rebuffed by the Midlands club. The current United goalkeeper, Andre Onana, is sidelined with a hamstring injury and faces a race to be fit for their opening Premier League game against Arsenal on August 17.

Hibs vs Midtjylland: The key Euro battles at Easter Road
Everything seems to be set up for a confident Hibs side, who finished last season in third - a remarkable comeback after an early run that at one point saw them languishing at the foot of the table. A strong Midtjylland side who have already started their league campaign with two wins from two stand in their way, and the Hibs fans will hope to drown out both their small travelling support and any chances they have of progressing further in the competition. Here are three key battles which will decide whether Sunshine on Leith will be belted out come full time, or Midtjylland will rip up the script and spoil the party. Jordan Obita vs Kevin Mbabu With the possibility of extra time looming if the tie remains even, it could very well be decided by tired legs in the wide areas. As the time continues to tick on at Easter Road both Mbabu and Obita will have to contend with not only each other, but the pacey, tricky players of the respective teams. Former Rangers man Mbabu signed for Midtjylland from Fulham last summer, and will be looking to build on the fourteen league appearances he made. Obita has been a stalwart for Hibs over the past two years and recently agreed terms on a fresh deal to keep him at Easter Road until 2027. Though both men are defenders, there is a possibility that their attacking contributions could prove decisive as they bomb up and down that flank - Obita the man with slightly more individual responsibility, playing as a wing back just ahead of the back three. The man who can most effectively balance their defensive and attacking responsibilities in what could turn out to be a gruelling tie towards the end will go a long way to deciding the winner. Kieron Bowie vs Jonas Lössl Kieron Bowie is a major threat for Hibs (Image: SNS Group) Kieron Bowie is a man with a point to prove this season following his debut year in Edinburgh being largely halted by a serious hamstring injury. Gray recently praised Bowie on getting his first Scotland cap, and insisted that the 22-year-old showed the attitude required to succeed on the pitch during his rehab as he battled to get back to fitness and get into starting contention. While Midtjylland goalkeeper Jonas Lössl did not concede any other goals in the first leg, it was his error that allowed Hibs the lead that they held for the majority of the match. He will be laser focussed on producing perfection at Easter Road. Now back at full fitness, Bowie will be aiming to prove his sharpness on the European stage. He may have Lössl's mistake on his mind as he looks to be Hibs' hero. The massive Easter Road support will need no excuse to jump all over any nerves from Lössl, but at 36 years old, Midtjylland's veteran goalkeeper will look to prove he has the experience to keep his opponents at bay. Rocky Bushiri vs Franculino Djú Midtjylland striker Franculino Djú played the full ninety in the first leg and did not really get going, largely thanks to the work of Bushiri at the heart of the Hibs back line. Having already scored five in two league matches this season, including a hat-trick against Sønderjyske, he will want to transfer this form to boost his team in Europe and not just on the domestic front. Standing in his way once more will be the Congolese defender, a man who has completely reformed his image in the eyes of the Hibs support and earned a new contract that runs until 2028. Gray trusts him implicitly, and barring anything unexpected, he will start and be key to Hibs' hopes of a clean sheet. In a similar vein to Bowie, Djú will be hoping to make himself a hero on a European stage as one of the main focal points of Midtjylland alongside Adam Buksa. Having two strikers at the fore could be key for the Danish side as they face a Hibs team playing three centre backs who look to suffocate isolated opposition strikers.

Arsenal can offer Eberechi Eze dream shirt number after £34m deal that stung Mikel Arteta
Arsenal are targeting a move for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze and have an added incentive available to the England international if he does join the Gunners Arsenal will hope that the prospect of handing Eberechi Eze his ideal shirt number can help sweeten a possible move from Crystal Palace. The Gunners have made Eze their latest priority after finally signing striker Viktor Gyokeres for £63.7million to end the long-running transfer saga. Mikel Arteta has been eager to improve his squad after falling short in the title race once again last term. Arsenal have spent close to £200m so far on centre-midfield pair Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard, goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera and new striker Gyokeres. Eze has consistently dazzled throughout his time at Palace, ending last season with 25 goal contributions, including the winner in the club's first FA Cup triumph. The attacking midfielder has donned the No. 10 shirt for most of his career, a squad number that Arsenal have not used since Arteta allowed Emile Smith Rowe to join Fulham for £34million last summer. When previously asked if he was upset by Smith Rowe's departure, the Arsenal boss confessed: "A lot. When I had the talk with Emile, I really felt it. First of all because I have huge gratitude because he came into the team at a tough moment. 'I think he was the player that made our supporters and the team click, in a way. I don't know how to explain it but that was my feeling. Something changed when he came in the team. He created a different energy straight away. 'And I have a feeling like, 'argh', that I have not got the best out of him. Obviously a lot of things happened in that time. 'From my side it was really sad, because I know how those boys feel when they are in that building, how hard everyone works to get them close to the first team, so I feel a huge responsibility to give them the chance. And now, can they sustain this level and make us better? That is the idea." Mirror Football understands that the Gunners opened talks over a potential deal for Eze last month. The 27-year-old has a £68m release clause in his contract, but Arsenal are aiming for a move around the £60m mark. The club considered offering Reiss Nelson as part of a swap deal, but the midfielder is a target for Fulham. The vacant shirt number could appeal to Eze, who has been Palace's No. 10 since 2021 and also wore the same number in his last two seasons at QPR. Arsenal icons such as Paul Merson, Dennis Bergkamp and Mesut Ozil each donned the No. 10 shirt. However, Palace boss Oliver Glasner has insisted that his team cannot afford to sell their star players, amid interest in Eze and captain Marc Guehi. The club made a slow start to the summer window due to the dispute over which European competition they would be allowed to enter. "Even though all the players are still here, we haven't made the most of the transfer window so far," Glasner admitted to Austrian outlet Kronen Zeitung. "I was promised that we would be more active and bring in the new players earlier this year. "As of now, I have 17 outfield players. I hope we don't lose any more. If that happens and we get four new ones on deadline day like last year, another false start is possible."
