Dog owner arrested following series of attacks
A dog owner has been arrested on suspicion of having their animal dangerously out of control following a series of attacks.
Wiltshire Police seized a dog and arrested a 33-year-old woman on Thursday in connection with the incidents, which happened in the Moredon area of Swindon over the last month.
One person and two dogs were attacked in April, and a cat was also killed on 3 May.
Wiltshire Police, which has thanked the public for helping identify the woman, said she is in custody and being questioned.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of having a dog dangerously out of control under section three of the Dangerous Dogs Act.
PC Sam Young of the Swindon Local Policing Tasking Team confirmed the dog had been seized and said the force "appreciated the significant amount of public concern" surrounding the incidents.

Kewaunee PD seeking suspects allegedly involved in vehicle theft on 2nd Street
KEWAUNEE, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers with the Kewaunee Police Department say they are looking for information or camera footage of two car theft suspects near 2nd Street around 1 a.m. on Sunday. According to a Facebook post, the Kewaunee Police Department states that a vehicle was stolen off of 2nd Street around 12:50 a.m. on June 8. Officers described the two suspects as younger males, one with a white sweatshirt wearing a backpack and one with a blue/black sweatshirt, both with hoods pulled over their heads. Fond du Lac officers investigating shots fired incident near Parish School Apartments The suspects were also seen on 1st Street, Lincoln Street, and in the alley west of 1st Street. Officers are asking anyone with information or camera footage of the suspects to come forward. It was noted that the stolen car was found in a parking lot on Juneau Street and Miller Street. Fraudster on the run after absconding from prison
Police are searching for a convict who has absconded from an open prison in Derbyshire. Derbyshire Police said Paul Haughey left HMP Sudbury, near Ashbourne, between 11:00 BST and midday on Sunday. The force described the 40-year-old, who was serving a nine-month sentence for fraud and theft offences, as white, about 5ft 9in (1.75m) tall, of medium build, with grey hair. He was last seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a dark grey lightweight bomber jacket and black trainers, officers said. Anyone who sees the prisoner is urged to call the police. Jax was last seen leaving her apartment in Denver on Tuesday, April 15, her mom previously told PEOPLE. 'I am terrified for my daughter,' Gratton-Camis said at the time. 'My fear is that somebody killed her,' she continued, then alleging that her daughter had been in abusive relationships in the past.
