Live updates: Ben Shelton vs. Flavio Cobolli at National Bank Open

Ben Shelton is back in action Sunday night against Flavio Cobolli on Center Court at the National Bank Open in Toronto, Canada. Match time is set for not before 7 p.m., and it should start on time since the prior game didn't go long. Shelton is the favorite, being the higher-seeded player, but he's 1-2 against Cobolli in his young career. Shelton has taken a step forward this year, performing best in Grand Slams and going deeper in the Masters level tournaments. This should be one of the more anticipated matches in the Round of 16, and Shelton needs the win to hold on to his career-high No. 7 ranking. How to Watch Shelton vs. Cobolli Fans will need a Tennis Channel subscription or a cable package that includes the Tennis Channel to watch Shelton play Sunday night. Live updates will be provided here at Gators Wire, and the ATP Tour website will have live statistics as well. Set 1, Game 1 Shelton started off serving. He dropped the first point but rallied back to go up 40-15. Shelton got under the first point and sailed it, but he was strong after. Cobolli got a tip off the net for another point, but Shelton took the game with a crosscourt forehand. Shelton to 30. Shelton 1, Cobolli 0 Set 1, Game 2 Shelton tried his best to get a break early. Cobolli simply gave Shelton a thumbs up as he watched the third point go by. Shelton went up 30-40, but Cobolli forced things to deuce. Cobolli responded with an ace of his own and finished off the service hold with a long rally win. Shelton 1, Cobolli 1 Set 1, Game 3 Cobolli had a chance to go up 0-30, forcing Shelton to play up in the court, but he shanked the first point into the net and went long over Shelton's head on the second. Cobolli got a point back, but Shelton took a commanding lead with an athletic play that tested his vertical. He landed the spike, and went to the serve and volley after Cobolli delivered a nice return point. Shelton 2, Cobolli 1 Set 1, Game 4 Shelton recorded the first break of the day. Cobolli was struggling on his first serve, converting just four of the first 14 and winning only two of those points. Cobolli went long on a forehand to give Shelton a lead out of the gate, and the former Gator finished it off with an aggressive play near the net. Shelton 3, Cobolli 1 Set 1, Game 5 Cobolli nearly broke Shelton right back, but the game went to deuce. Shelton went to advantage four times before finishing off the game. Cobolli only had the one break point opportunity, but he did a good job reading Shelton and extending the game. He won two impressive points while sliding in an open stance, knowing a drop shot was coming from Shelton. Shelton 4, Cobolli 1 Set 1, Game 6 Shelton pushed things to 30-30, looking for a second break, but Cobolli delivered an ace to go ahead and forced a bad return to take the game. Shelton 4, Cobolli 2 Set 1, Game 7 Shelton delivered two aces, but Cobolli still worked the game to deuce. It only took two advantages for Shelton to secure this service hold, putting him a game away from winning the first set. Shelton's game plan almost always relies a strong first serve, but he only converted 56% of his first 36. Cobolli has had opportunities to get ahead, but he hasn't been able to capitalize. Shelton 5, Cobolli 2 Set 1, Game 8 Cobolly went up 40-15 quickly but struggled with his serve and lost a pair of second-serve points to go to deuce. Shelton never reached the break point, but he's clearly wearing Cobolli out. Shelton 5, Cobolli 3 Set 1, Game 9 A pair of unforced errors from Shelton put Cobolli at double break point, and he finished it off without much trouble. It's the first truly bad service game of the day for Shelton, who missed out on an early chance to take the first set. We're now back on serve. Colby Raha broke the world record, previously held by Seth Enslow, for longest motorcycle jump as thousands looked on at the Sturgis Rally. STURGIS, SOUTH DAKOTA — Sturgis Motocross daredevil Colby Raha made history on Aug. 2 when he broke the Harley-Davidson distance jump world record, landing a 205-foot jump as thousands of fans cheered on. Raha, 30, shattered the world record on the second day of the 85th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at the Thunderdome as he zoomed about 80 miles per hour toward a jump ramp. The motorcycle rally is held in the western South Dakota town, and takes place over 10 days. "You don't see anyone else lining up to do this," said Raha, before attempting to break the 15-year record previously held by motorcyclist and stunt performer Seth Enslow. Enslow had owned the record since 2010, when he rode a modified Harley-Davidson XR1200 Sportster and made a world record jump of 183.7 feet in Australia. The jump was first benchmarked by Evel Knievel, a stunt performer and entertainer, in 1975. X Games adds new twist: An artificial intelligence judge for snowboard event After four attempts, Raha successfully soared 205 feet on a 550 pound V-Twin Harley-Davidson Sportster. "This jump at the Thunderdome in Sturgis channeled the spirit of Evel Knievel, an absolute legend of the sport. And I'm beyond stoked to have landed it as part of my Record Breakers event,' Raha said. 'It was a dream to push the limits at the Thunderdome, and I felt really dialed in the whole time. I'm grateful for the support from Rockstar Energy and all the partners who helped make this world record attempt possible.' Raha is known for his debut in 2017, when he won gold at the X Games in Minneapolis for the QuarterPipe High Air. He's earned 11 more medals since competing in the X Games.
