Earlier, in an interview Naga Chaitanya has opened up about his married life with actress Sobhita Dhulipala. In a recent interview, Chay called his life after marriage 'great" and mentioned that they both have been able to balance their personal and professional lives well.
'Married life is great! I'm totally enjoying it. It's just been a couple of months. I think we both invest equally in work and away from work; so, we have that work-life balance very much intact. I think that's one of the qualities we both really connected on also," he told Hindustan Times.
Asked what he and Sobhita have in common other than being successful actors, Naga Chaitanya added, 'You know, we are both from Andhra. She is from Vizag and I love Vizag. Our roots are similar though we are not from the same cities and so, culturally, there was a lot of connect. And, obviously, the love for cinema, the love for this art form. I think both of us are just so curious about life, which got us going. Many conversations sort of started around that for us. And we love travelling as well."
Sobhita was last seen in Monkey Man, marking her Hollywood debut alongside Dev Patel. The film received critical acclaim, with her performance being particularly lauded. She also starred in Love, Sitara, a Hindi-language film that premiered directly on ZEE5. While many actresses explore opportunities across different industries, Sobhita has done so with remarkable ease, proving her versatility time and again.
In addition to her upcoming projects, Sobhita is set to return in new seasons of Made in Heaven and The Night Manager.

Saiyaara box office collection day 12: Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda's blockbuster passes Rs 400 cr worldwide; beats Simmba, Happy New Year
Mohit Suri's romantic film Saiyaara is going from strength to strength, not only at the domestic box office, but also worldwide. After registering its steepest decline in daily figures on Monday (day 11), the film showed a slight improvement on Tuesday (day 12), which suggests that it's in no mood to slow down anytime soon. On Tuesday, Saiyaara earned Rs 9.5 crore, a slight improvement on its Monday collection of Rs 9.25 crore. Prior to that, Saiyaara had been earning in double digits every day since its release, ranging from Rs 18 crore to Rs 35.75 crore. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the current box office collection of Saiyaara in India stands at Rs 266 crore. It's still the second-highest grossing Hindi film of 2025, tailing Vicky Kaushal-starrer historical drama Chhaava (Rs 600 crore+) by a huge margin. However, it has already surpassed the lifetime domestic box office collections of hits like Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files (Rs 252.90 crore) and Ayan Mukerji's action fantasy Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva (Rs 257.44 crore). Given its current trajectory, Saiyaara may soon edge past its next targets — Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn's 2024 cop drama Singham Again (Rs 268.35 crore), the Hindi version of SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR's period action drama RRR (Rs 274.31 crore), and Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Shahid Kapoor's romantic film Kabir Singh (Rs 278.24 crore). At the worldwide box office, Saiyaara has passed the Rs 400 crore mark. Thus, it's already surpassed Kabir Singh's global box office collection of Rs 368.32 crore, as well as that of Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan's 2013 superhero film Krrish 3 (Rs 374 crore), Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan's 2014 action film Kick (Rs 377 crore), Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's 2014 heist comedy Happy New Year (Rs 385 crore), and Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh's 2018 cop drama Simmba (Rs 393.01 crore). Saiyaara has also overtaken Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan's 2015 action comedy Dilwale (Rs 394 crore), Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan's 2009 comedy 3 Idiots (Rs 395 crore), and Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan's 2015 action romance Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 399 crore). Squid Game's Gong Yoo Cleared In Harassment Case, Woman Sentenced For False Allegations
Last Updated: South Korean actor Gong Yoo was exonerated after a woman falsely accused him of harassment. The Daejeon District Court sentenced her to six months in prison. South Korean actor Gong Yoo has been legally exonerated after a woman who falsely accused him of harassment was found guilty of defamation. The case, which garnered significant public interest, concluded on July 29 with the Daejeon District Court's Criminal Division 5 issuing a suspended sentence to the defendant. Identified only as 'A', the woman in her 40s was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for two years of probation. The court held her accountable for violating South Korea's Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilisation and Information Protection. Between January 2020 and March 2021, the woman posted 235 defamatory statements across various online platforms, falsely alleging that Gong Yoo was threatening and harassing her. One of the most notable incidents occurred during a live broadcast by Gong Yoo in January 2020, where the woman commented: 'I'm being threatened from behind, and there isn't a single day I haven't been threatened." She further claimed: 'He torments me to the point of neurosis." Following an investigation, authorities confirmed that there was no personal connection between the actor and the accused, and all her claims were found to be fabricated. The court remarked: 'The claims made by A are completely groundless and, beyond that, she repeatedly spread false information over a long period." Highlighting the impact of such misinformation on public figures, the court noted: 'Even though the victim is a public figure and naturally subject to public attention, the nature of the crime is very serious." The woman's prior criminal history also played a role in the proceedings. 'Although the defendant has two prior convictions for similar offenses, her acknowledgment of the crime and her intention to receive treatment at a hospital were taken into account in sentencing," the court explained. Gong Yoo, known for roles in Goblin, Train to Busan, and Squid Game, has not publicly commented on the verdict. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
