OFFLIMITS is coming to the capital soon and the list of artists to take the stage at the show keeps getting better and better. The latest name to be added to the lineup is world-renowned Ukrainian DJ duo ARTBAT , set to set the stage on fire with an electrifying set, guaranteed.
The internationally-acclaimed duo will be joining the likes of Ed Sheeran, One Republic, Kaiser Chiefs and more to entertain crowds with a night of musical greatness from across the board. These names have been announced as headliners for the main stage and the second stage, and ARTBAT will bring their signature blend of melodic-techno and high-octane sets.
The duo's innovative mix of atmospheric deep house beats and driving rhythms has earned them spots on the world's most prestigious stages, and their OFFLIMITS debut will be no exception. The capital is waiting to welcome them. What is OFFLIMITS?
OFFLIMITS is the new brand of fantastic festivals in the capital, announced in early December of last year as set to take place on April 26 at Etihad Park. One night only at Yas Island, with incredible artists taking the stage and expertly-curated musical experiences for all.

Ed Sheeran sings in Punjabi in new song Sapphire
Ed Sheeran has paid tribute to India in his new song, singing a line in Punjabi. In Sapphire, the English singer breaks into Punjabi for one line in the chorus, which translates to 'they sparkle just like stars'. Sheeran has collaborated with Indian playback singer Arijit Singh on the new single, a collaboration he described as the 'final jigsaw piece' in recording the track. Singh also plays the sitar on the track. The video for the song is filmed in various locations around India, and was shot earlier this year while Sheeran was on tour in the country. ' Sapphire was the first song I finished for Play that made me know where the album was heading,' Sheeran wrote about his new single in an Instagram caption. 'It's why I finished the recording process in Goa surrounded by some of the best musicians in India.' Speaking of filming the video in India, he wrote: 'We wanted to showcase the beauty and breadth of the country and its culture.' He added that the song is his favourite on the album and he has recorded a version entirely in Punjabi with Singh, which he promises 'will come out in the next few weeks'. Sheeran took his +−=÷× Tour (said The Mathematics Tour) to India in January and February this year, performing seven dates in six locations, last year he also performed a standalone night in Mumbai. Sheeran's upcoming album, Play, is set to be released in September. He has already released singles Old Phone and Azizam, as well as Sapphire. Azizam is heavily influenced by the region. The song was co-written by Swedish–Iranian songwriter Ilya Salmanzadeh. Discussing the single on Instagram, Sheeran said the track draws on Iranian musical influences, which he found echoes aspects of traditional Irish folk. 'I wrote Azizam after Ilya suggested trying out music inspired by his Persian heritage and culture,' he said. 'I love learning about music and different cultures the more I travel and connect with people. It was like opening a door to a completely new and exciting world. 'I loved how a lot of the rhythms, scales, melodies and instruments were different but similar to the Irish trad music I grew up with. It showed me that music connects us all – it really is a universal language. This whole album is about being playful, explorative and celebratory.' In March, a large heart-shaped balloon was put on display in at Bla Bla beach club and dining venue in Dubai's JBR district to promote the single.

Swiatek sweeps aside Svitolina to set up semis showdown with Sabalenka
Four-times champion Iga Swiatek of Poland swept aside Ukraine's Elina Svitolina 6-1 7-5 on a windy day at the French Open on Tuesday to earn a semi-final spot and stay in the hunt for a record-breaking victory in Paris. The 24-year-old, who accepted a one-month doping ban late last year, is looking to become the first woman in the professional era since 1968 to win four consecutive titles in Paris. Although she failed to win a title going into the French Open this season, she looks to have rediscovered her remarkable claycourt form in Paris. She will next play world number one Aryna Sabalenka in a mouth-watering semi-final after the Belarusian beat China's Zheng Qinwen 7-6 (7/3), 6-3. 'I should have had better intensity in the beginning of the second set,' Swiatek said in a post-match interview. 'When I saw my intensity go low I got it high again. I am happy I did it at the end of the set. 'Against Aryna it is always a challenge. She has a game for every surface. I have to do the work, be brave with my shots and go for it. She is having a great season.' 'I will not lie. It will be a tough match but am happy for the challenge,' she said. The Pole is now on a 26-match winning streak at the French Open, following her title three-peat between 2022-24 to add to her 2020 crown. Swiatek, playing in an initially sparsely filled Philipp Chatrier stadium, broke the Ukrainian, in her fifth quarter-final appearance in Paris, early and kept her on the back foot with her heavy top-spin forehand and rapid changes in pace and direction. Earlier, reigning US Open champion Sabalenka defied the windy conditions and Zheng to avenge her recent loss to the Chinese star in Rome. 'The last tournament I was pretty exhausted,' said Sabalenka. 'Today I was more fresh I was ready to battle.'
