The crimes, linked to a Tuesday incident along Carrington Road, involved the deaths of four individuals, identified as James Wilson, Adrianna Williams, Cortney Rose, and Braydon Williams, long with the abandonment of an infant at a stranger's home in Dyersburg, about 30 miles away.
This comes days after witnesses said they saw a man in an SUV leave a child in a car seat on a front lawn in Tigrett, according to the Dyer County Sheriff's Office. Authorities later said there was no relationship between the child and the individual whose lawn the child was left on.
Officials believe Drummond is driving a 2016 Audi A3 with Tennessee plate RI 01896, which has damage to the driver's side.
The TBI, alongside local, state, and federal agencies including the Lake County Sheriff's Department, Dyer County Sheriff's Department, and US Marshals Service, has launched a manhunt, urging the public to avoid approach.
Drummond is described as 5'10', 190 lbs, with brown hair, blue eyes, and a goatee, though his appearance may have changed.

In a massive update in the Tennessee killings case, the man wanted in the killings of the parents, grandmother, and uncle of an infant found abandoned in a front yard in western Tennessee last week has been arrested, police said. Following the intense search, the suspect, Austin Robert Drummond, 28, was taken into custody on Tuesday (July 5, 2025), police in Jackson said in a social media post. The Dyer County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that a caller reported a minivan or midsize SUV had dropped the infant at a 'random individual's front yard.' The sheriff's office later said they were working with investigators in neighboring Lake County, where four people had been found dead. Officials determined those people were the child's parents, grandmother, and uncle. Authorities later identified those people as James M. Wilson, 21; Adrianna Williams, 20; Cortney Rose, 38; and Braydon Williams, 15. Wilson and Adrianna Williams were the infant's parents, while Rose was Adrianna and Braydon Williams' mother. Investigators determined the four relatives had not been seen since the night before, according to Goodman. A relative had called 911 after finding two vehicles in a remote area, and the four bodies were found in nearby woods, Goodman said. Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch has said it's believed the killings were a targeted attack by Drummond. The baby, identified by Goodman as a girl, is safe and being cared for by other relatives. Goodman said authorities believe Drummond drove the baby from Tiptonville to Tigrett, where she was left in a yard. The TBI has already charged Tanaka Brown, 29, and Giovonte Thomas, 29, with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Investigators allege both men 'assisted' Drummond, 28, in the killings. Dearrah Sanders of Jackson was arrested on Monday and charged with being an accessory after the killings. Drummond's criminal history includes prison time for robbing a convenience store and threatening to go after jurors. He was also charged with attempted murder while behind bars.
