What's going on with JaNa and Kenny from 'Love Island?' Fans parse following lists for clues
The "Love Island USA" fandom is in a desperate search for answers about one of their favorite couples. Social media users are speculating about a possible rift in the beloved Season 6 cast after JaNa Craig appeared to remove almost all of her content with boyfriend Kenny Rodriguez from her Instagram grid on July 27. Not only that, but Instagram accounts for her fellow PPG (the self-appointed Power Puff Gang) members Leah Kateb and Serena Page, and their respective partners, Miguel Harichi and Kordell Beckham, have all appeared to unfollow Rodriguez. Most of the cast of their Peacock spinoff show "Love Island: Beyond the Villa," currently in its first season, are also not following Rodriguez. None of the cast members have publicly commented on the apparent rift. The comments sections for Craig's past posts have also been limited. USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Craig and Rodriguez for comment. Peacock did not respond to a request for comment. Finalists from "Love Island USA's" breakout season last year, Craig, 28, and Rodriguez, 25, have been in a relationship since leaving the villa in July 2024. They confirmed their relationship status in the Season 6 reunion, which dropped the following month. 'They're very toxic': Why Kaylor Martin won't watch 'Beyond the Villa' On Peacock's "Love Island" spinoff, Rodriguez and Craig are navigating their relationship while living in close quarters for the first time in Los Angeles. Fan accounts and close watchers of reality TV-related drama rang the alarm on a possible uncoupling on July 27, which prompted a close watch of other "Beyond the Villa" cast members' social media accounts. "Red alert ring the alarm," journalist Christina Cocca wrote alongside a post with screenshots of Craig's Instagram. Kenny and JaNa previously said communication was their strength While speaking with USA TODAY in separate interviews on July 8, Rodriguez and Craig opened up about navigating a relationship that is also intertwined with their careers as influencers. "We're very communicative when it comes to those things: what we feel comfortable putting out there (and) what we don't. And I think that's just the sign of a healthy relationship," Rodriguez said. Craig, seated with Page on one side and Kateb on the other, admitted that it has worked best to keep some things for themselves when fans demand more couples' content. "I feel like your relationship is very private. You know, just you and your partner communicating 24/7," Craig said. "Whereas publicly it's like putting yourself out there, understanding what your viewers and your supporters want and navigating through that and whatever you're comfortable with."

Did 'Love Island' Stars JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez Just Break Up? Fans Spot the Clues
Did 'Love Island' Stars JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez Just Break Up? Fans Spot the Clues originally appeared on Parade. Love Island USA season 7 may have just wrapped, but it's a couple from last summer who are making headlines. While fans are celebrating winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales, season 6 favorites JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez are fueling breakup rumors—and this time, the signs are hard to ignore. On Sunday, July 27, fans noticed something was off. Craig unfollowed Rodriguez on Instagram, turned off comments, and wiped every post of him from her feed. Serena Page and Leah Kateb—Craig's closest friends from the villa—also unfollowed Rodriguez, along with their partners Kordell Beckham and Miguel Harichi. Craig and Rodriguez even removed each other from their Instagram bios. Just the day before, they were still posting couple content. That's part of why the sudden split has fans so confused and convinced something major went down behind the scenes. Neither Craig nor Rodriguez has addressed the rumors publicly. But with the social‑media clues and their appearance on Beyond the Villa, fans have been connecting the dots. In the spinoff, Rodriguez confirmed that he and Craig opted to live in separate apartments next door rather than move in together, explaining it was a deliberate way to preserve privacy and avoid the pressure of constant filming. During a chat with Variety, he also mentioned that Craig's glam team occasionally made shared spaces feel cramped. Separately, Craig told People that living apart—her in Las Vegas, him in Dallas—helps "the heart grow fonder, but it also doesn't put a lot of pressure on us to need to be with each other all the time. I kind of like it that we don't live in the same city right now." 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 That arrangement was a far cry from the close-knit dynamic they shared right after the villa. The couple placed third in season 6, and over the past year, they regularly posted about each other online. Rodriguez once wrote on Instagram, 'I still want you and need you, now I need to keep you.' In one of her own posts, Craig said, 'You're not just my best friend, you're my safe place… I will always be here for you, even if things don't work out the way we wanted.' Though nothing's been confirmed, a TMZ insider claimed that Craig ended the relationship Sunday morning and has been leaning on her friends since. Still, without an official statement, fans are left reading between the social media lines. Did 'Love Island' Stars JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez Just Break Up? 'Love Island USA''s JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez call it quits after 1 year
The former couple ended season 6 of the hit Peacock series in third place last year. Just weeks after Love Island USA crowned season 7's Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales as its newest winners, news of a shocking breakup is shaking the reality series' fanbase. Season 6 fan favorites and third-place finishers, JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez, have called it quits, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed. Craig, 28, and Rodriguez, 25, had a whirlwind romance on Love Island, with the fitness content creator sweeping Craig off her feet as a bombshell after several failed romantic starts. Since leaving the Fiji villa, the pair had seemingly been going strong, even as they navigated their long-distance relationship with Craig being based in Las Vegas and Rodriguez in Dallas. The pair showed a deeper look into their relationship in Beyond the Villa alongside their friends and fellow Love Island USA finalists, Serena Page and Kordell Beckham — who took home the $100,000 prize as season 6's winning couple — and runners-up Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi. The split surprised many, especially since the couple was seen partying together at David Dobrik's birthday party on Saturday night. But by Sunday morning, Craig, 28, had reportedly broke things off with Rodriguez, 25. "There was no big, public blowout," a source told PEOPLE, referring to online rumors that the former couple got into a fight during Dobrik's celebration on Saturday. "That did not happen." But for anyone holding out hope for a reunion, the source added, "They will not be getting back together." Neither Craig nor Rodriguez has addressed the rumors publicly. TMZ was the first to report the news. Online speculation about a breakup began when fans noticed that Craig and Rodriguez no longer followed each other on Instagram despite the latter having shared photos of the duo from Dobrik's party on his Instagram Stories. They have also both removed references to one another in their Instagram bios, with Craig removing any posts that feature loved-up photos of them together that isn't part of a brand sponsorship. Rodriguez has several cuddled-up posts remaining as of Monday afternoon. Things turned into a frenzy when fans noticed that several other season 6 stars also unfollowed Rodriguez, including Page, Beckham, Kateb, and Harichi. Kaylor Martin, Liv Walker, and Connor Newsum — whose tense relationship with Craig was rehashed on Beyond the Villa — also unfollowed him. Craig and Rodriguez have raised many questions about their long distance relationship as it played out for fans on Beyond the Villa. Rodriguez perviously spoke to their situation earlier this month, explaining to Variety why they decided to live separately while filming in Los Angeles together. "Since leaving the villa, it's a big jump moving in together with someone, and I didn't want it to be televised, especially the first time," he told the outlet. "So we rented rooms next to each other." He added, "Another aspect for me is privacy. When JaNa gets ready for events, she has a huge glam team. Usually, there's somebody in there for wardrobe, and sometimes I don't have the space to change and things like that. Granted, we were always together on the show. It was great to experience L.A. and to be with her in the same city."Separately, Craig told PEOPLE that living apart helps "the heart grow fonder." "But it also doesn't put a lot of pressure on us to need to be with each other all the time," she added. "I kind of like it that we don't live in the same city right now."
