Despite being an airport hotel, it is certainly one of the most beautiful ones I've stayed in.
The main lobby is full of light, with floor to ceiling windows stretching five floors high.
Whether you are leaving at sunrise or arriving at sunset, it is a gorgeous spot to stay before or after a flight.

What are the rooms like?
The rooms are simple but have all that you need.
Ranging from twins to to double and king sizes, there are also suites that have connecting doors for families.
Comfy beds and large desks with a 50-inch HDTV make up the main room, with dressing gowns and towels provided.
Leave the toiletries at home too, with Crabtree & Evelyn ones provided along with hairdryers in the en-suite bathrooms.

I spent the next few days in utter bliss. Barely an hour after checking in, my first stop was the spa for the hotel's complimentary 15-minute massage. I was surprised at how such a short session was one of the best I've ever had. The relaxation continued at the hotel swimming pools, with two to choose from. The main, bigger pool is the most popular, lined with sun loungers covered in squishy striped covers you sink into as you sunbathe, or snooze. A day of drinking wine on the patio meant I needed to line my stomach, and stays at the Numo Ierapetra Beach Resort can include breakfast or half-board with dinner. The buffet restaurant Tamarisk has some of the best views of the house, with the pool to one side and the beach to the other. But what the buffet lacks in size, it makes up for in taste. Luca Pferdmenges, 23, completed the impressive feat on Thursday after landing on Palau, an island nation in the Western Pacific Ocean. Luca took his first ever flight in August 2017 - racking up a whopping 70 countries before he quit the circus in 2020. He said: 'At the end of 2017, I took my first solo trip with a friend to 'The first trips were mainly to Europe's Balkans, and I went to countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, and Poland - some of the easier countries to visit. 'Just after Covid, it was pretty difficult as I had to do Covid tests and some countries were closed. Advertisement "In recent times, North Korea has opened up to tourists.' Some of Luca's trips lasted just a few days allowing him to travel with one backpack and a small bag for food and drink. The current youngest person to travel to every country is Lexie Alford, an American, who achieved the record aged 21 in 2019.
