Jordon Hudson takes sly shot at Bill Belichick's ex Linda Holliday after bitter Christmas Party spat

Daily Mail4 hours ago

Jordon Hudson has taken a sly jab at her boyfriend Bill Belichick 's ex partner, Linda Holliday, in a sentimental Instagram post, where she name-drops 'Nantucket Socialites'.
Hudson's post was primarily about Melissa Sapini, the 2024 Miss Massachusetts, a title she won while over Belichick's 49-years-younger girlfriend competed for Miss Maine. The duo met during their time on the pageant circuit.
Sapini relinquished her title this week to this year's winner, with Hudson paying tribute to her friend's time on top on Tuesday.
The long, sappy post included the jab at Holliday near the bottom, after Hudson gave Sapini tons of shout-outs.
'I know you will keep shining, metamorphosing and taking up space; even when others threaten you and insist that you don't belong, e.g. the "Nantucket Socialites"' Hudson said.
Hudon's jab is in reference to an incident where Holliday did not like Hudson and Sapini coming to a certain Nantucket Christmas party late last year.
Holliday angrily confronted Hudson and threatened Sapini, seemingly confirming the already public rundown of events.
According to an incident report filed by an employee at the party's venue, Dreamland, Holliday was enraged by Hudson's presence at the December 6 event. Holliday's twin daughters - Ashley and Kat Hess - were DJing at the party.
Belichick, 73, and Holliday, 61, broke up in September 2023 after 16 years together. He met Hudson on a flight from Boston to Florida in 2021.
The incident report says Holliday thought Hudson being there was 'inappropriate, since the event was widely advertised as a party headlined by her daughters.'
The report claims that at 9:30pm, Holliday approached the member of staff and asked her to remove Hudson, 24, from the party.
While on the phone with the venue's executive director to discuss removing Hudson, staff spotted Holliday and friend Elin Hilderbrand - believed to be the New York Times bestselling author - approach Hudson on the dance floor with 'threatening body language and escalating aggression'.
But as the employee approached the dance floor, Holliday and her friends - which also included Heather Thorpe - decided to back away.
'I asked Ms. Hudson if she thought it was a good idea to be there considering the clear animosity the above individuals felt towards her,' the employee wrote in the report.
'She defended herself by saying she'd done nothing wrong, and it was her first time attending Christmas Stroll and wanted to attend the "big party" going on that night, which happened to be the one featuring the Hess Twins.'
'She said she was not looking to cause any problems, but just wanted to go out and have fun with her friend.'
When realizing there were only a few minutes left of the party, Hudson is said to have agreed to leave if the employee accompanied them to the exit.
As they waited by the exit, Hudson supposedly then told the employee that Holliday threatened Sapini during the clash on the dance floor.
It was claimed Holliday told Hudson's friend that if she 'valued her current title, she should think twice about who her friends are' and that she 'had many powerful friends in the pageant organization.'
The report says Sapini didn't speak but broke down in tears in the room and was 'wiping her eyes frequently'.
After leaving Hudson and Sapini by the exit, the employee returned to find Holliday who said: 'If this didn't involve my girls, I don't think this would have bothered me as much, but because it did the "momma bear" in me came out.'
Dreamland told TMZ that, despite the tense altercation, police and security were never involved.

The rapper shared the reveal in an Instagram video on Tuesday, where he played a soft tune on a ukulele while his little one, mostly out of frame, listened close by. Nearly an hour later, he updated the caption to include a heartfelt shoutout to the Transformers star, writing: 'Saga Blade Fox-Baker — thank you for the ultimate gift, @meganfox.' His loving message to Megan opened the door to a whirlwind of speculation that the pair of them might have rekindled their relationship. The couple quietly welcomed their daughter back in March. Alongside the tender moment, he dropped the name in the caption: 'Saga Blade Fox-Baker' Nearly two hours later, he updated the caption to include a heartfelt shoutout to the Transformers star, writing: 'Saga Blade Fox-Baker — thank you for the ultimate gift, @meganfox' It's MGK's first child with Megan, who is already mom to three sons from a previous relationship. The name news also comes shortly after MGK mentioned at the 2025 American Music Awards that his daughter hadn't been feeling well — making this intimate update all the more heartfelt. 'She has a little bit of a fever, so I'm gonna walk the carpet, tell all my fans I appreciate them, and I'm gonna head back and let my pheromones try and heal her,' he offered. The health update comes after 39-year-old Megan shared with her Instagram followers that her latest pregnancy was unplanned. The actress shared a video from Instagram fan account @ which showed her in a plaid mini skirt and cropped blue cardigan. The snippets were from her guest role in the Prime TV series Overcompensating. She spilled that she was pregnant in the scene, writing, '38 years old. six weeks pregnant (unplanned but a happy surprise).' 'Please stop listening to the patriarchy,' she urged her 21.5 million followers. 'Women are eternal light beings. We do not have an expiration date. Don't let them rob you of your power.' The former couple announced the birth of their first child together in a sweet post, captioned: 'She's finally here!! our little celestial seed.' The proud dad went on to reveal that he 'composed the score' of his little girl's birth with Travis Barker, Big Slim, Truck Norris, No Love for the Middle Child and Shaan Singh. Although he did not reveal the baby's name at the time, Kelly detailed that she was 'born into 432 HZ' and that her arrival was 'an epic journey.' The couple quietly welcomed their daughter back in March 'Praise God,' he declared on his Instagram Story. The actress already shares three sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green. Meanwhile, Kelly, welcomed his only other child, Casie, with Emma Cannon in July 2009. The birth announcement came just hours after Kelly blasted Green in a shock direct message on Instagram. Fox and Kelly, 34, split in November after she reportedly discovered he was speaking to other women behind her back. Machine's direct Instagram message to Brian said: 'Stop asking when our child is gonna be born. you the FEDS,' adding a rat emoji and a police officer emoji. 'Quit calling TMZ and focus on that apology you owe me for speaking on my name in public, Machine continued. 'You chose the wrong one to f*** with mr child actor. Go back to cereal commercials.' Brian publicly shared the message on his Instagram stories - along with his thoughts, writing: 'I didn't know "child actor" was something bad. Leo, careful. He may be coming for you next.' Brian was referring to Leo as in Leonardo DiCaprio, who is also a former child star. Megan and Brian were married from 2010 until 2021. He has since moved on with Sharna Burgess; they share a son together named Zane, born in June 2022. In December, Brian expressed regret that Megan is navigating her latest pregnancy while dealing with the fallout from her break-up. He was asked about his thoughts on her split from Machine, telling TMZ: 'I didn't even know.' The cameraperson then proceeded to tell him about the text messages Megan reportedly found in November that led to her calling it quits with Machine. Adding: 'How old is he? ... He's in his 30s, isn't he? ... But in your 30s, like, f**k. Grow up. Like, she's pregnant.' 'I just want the best for her. I want the best for the baby. I want the best for our kids. That's a shame,' he said to TMZ. 'I'm heartbroken about it because I know she's been so excited. And the kids are so excited for life and the change and all of that.' Brian called the situation 'tragic' and noted that he does not know 'the facts.' Megan pulled the plug on her relationship with Machine over Thanksgiving - after reportedly discovering he was speaking to other women behind her back. They split after Megan 'found material on MGK's phone that was upsetting, and it made her want him to leave the trip early,' the source said. Kelly, born Colson Baker, left the trip earlier and they have not seen each other since. An insider recently claimed that Megan wanted to just 'focus' on her pregnancy. The insider told People: 'They tried to make things work for many years. It was exhausting for Megan. 'She's done with him now. She just wants to focus on the baby and her boys now.' She posted a picture of her with her pregnant belly and a snap of her positive pregnancy test - to one of Machine Gun Kelly's songs in the pregnancy reveal, which she shared on November 11. Fox and Kelly previously suffered a miscarriage. Megan captioned the post: 'Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,' adding a heart emoji. Megan and MGK started dating in 2020 after she split from Brian following 10 years of marriage. They got engaged in January 2022 with the couple briefly splitting in February 2023 but working things through and getting back together - but not getting engaged again. Megan previously revealed she believes she manifested the rapper turned rocker into the person he is, adding that she manifested him when she was four years old. 'He's literally my exact type that I've been manifesting since I was four. I'm also four years older than him. So, I think I made him.' Adding: 'My thoughts and intentions grew him into the person that he is, who knows what he would've looked like or been like if it wasn't for me.' The couple met on the film project Midnight In The Switchgrass in March 2020.

Anne Burrell, TV chef who coached the 'Worst Cooks in America,' dies at 55

TV chef Anne Burrell, who coached culinary fumblers through hundreds of episodes of 'Worst Cooks in America,' died Tuesday at her New York home. She was 55. The Food Network, where Burrell began her two-decade television career on 'Iron Chef America' and went on to other shows, confirmed her death. The cause was not immediately clear, and medical examiners were set to conduct an autopsy. Police were called to her address before 8 a.m. Tuesday and found an unresponsive woman who was soon pronounced dead. The police department did not release the woman's name, but records show it was Burell's address. Burrell was on TV screens as recently as April, making chicken Milanese cutlets topped with escarole salad in one of her many appearances on NBC 's 'Today' show. She faced off against other top chefs on the Food Network's 'House of Knives' earlier in the spring. 'Anne was a remarkable person and culinary talent — teaching, competing and always sharing the importance of food in her life and the joy that a delicious meal can bring,' the network said in a statement. Known for her bold and flavorful but not overly fancy dishes, and for her spiky platinum-blonde hairdo, Burrell and various co-hosts on 'Worst Cooks in America' led teams of kitchen-challenged people through a crash course in savory self-improvement. On the first show in 2010, contestants presented such unlikely personal specialties as cayenne pepper and peanut butter on cod, and penne pasta with sauce, cheese, olives and pineapple. The accomplished chefs had to taste the dishes to evaluate them, and it was torturous, Burrell confessed in an interview with The Tampa Tribune at the time. Still, Burrell persisted through 27 seasons, making her last appearance in 2024. 'If people want to learn, I absolutely love to teach them,' she said on ABC 's 'Good Morning America' in 2020. 'It's just them breaking bad habits and getting out of their own way.' Burrell was born Sept. 21, 1969, in the central New York town of Cazenovia, where her parents ran a flower store. She earned an English and communications degree from Canisius University and went on to a job as a headhunter but hated it, she said in a 2008 interview with The Post-Standard of Syracuse. Having always loved cooking, she soon enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America, for which she later taught. She graduated in 1996, spent a year at an Italian culinary school and then worked in upscale New York City restaurants for a time. 'Anytime Anne Burrell gets near hot oil, I want to be around,' Frank Bruni, then-food critic at the New York Times, enthused in a 2007 review. By the next year, Burrell was hosting her own Food Network show, 'Secrets of a Restaurant Chef,' and her TV work became a focus. Over the years she also wrote two cookbooks, 'Cook Like a Rock Star' and 'Own Your Kitchen: Recipes to Inspire and Empower,' and was involved with food pantries, juvenile diabetes awareness campaigns and other charities. Burrell's own tastes, she said, ran simple. She told The Post-Standard her favorite food was bacon and her favorite meal was her mother's tuna fish sandwich. 'Cooking is fun,' she said. 'It doesn't have to be scary. It's creating something nurturing.' Survivors include her husband, Stuart Claxton, whom she married in 2021, and his son, her mother and her two siblings. 'Anne's light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world,' the family said in a statement released by the Food Network.

Nicole Scherzinger 'shelves her upcoming solo album' following Broadway success

has reportedly 'shelved her upcoming solo album' following her success on Broadway. The singer, 45, who cancelled The Pussycat Dolls reunion shows in 2022, hasn't released a solo album since her 2014 dance-pop record, Big Fat Lie, failed to chart. She was said to be working on an album in 2022 but made her debut as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard in London the following year. The show then transferred to Broadway, where it has earned her both a Tony and a Laurence Olivier Award. Nicole is said to have 'spent a fortune' on her album after being dropped from her record label in 2015. A source told The Sun: 'Things were really coming together and she was hunting for a team to release it when Sunset Boulevard came along.' They added: 'The plan was to revisit the album after the West End run finished last year, but the show ended up going to Broadway and now she has loads of exciting offers on the table. 'She is in a totally different place in her life from when she wrote the album, so it's been shelved.' MailOnline has contacted Nicole Scherzinger's representative for comment. Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has described Nicole as 'one of the most gifted singer-actresses I have seen perform my work… she is fearless, musically and dramatically.' After the Tony Awards last week, Nicole posted a video on Instagram during the ceremony where she performed a Sunset Boulevard number. In the gushing post, she wrote: 'This is a dream come true for me to perform As If We Never Said Goodbye. 'This is my love letter to the theatre. And to anyone with a deep passion for what you do, this was for you too.' She added: 'What an honour to share this song with a community that has held me and lifted me. I am forever grateful. As she accepted her Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical award, for her performance of fading Hollywood star Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, Nicole said: 'Growing up I always felt like I didn't belong, but you all have made me feel like I belong, and I have come home at last.' She then thanked her fiancé Thom Evans, adding he 'believes in me when I forget to believe in myself.' She also said: 'I'm so honoured to be recognised alongside these exceptional warrior women in this category. I want to thank you all so much for making this little Hawaiian/ Ukrainian/ Filipino girl's dream come true. So proud to represent.' After she thanked her family, she then thanked composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, sharing: 'It has been such an honour to be able to create with you the past 15 years.' Nicole has defied the odds to become the babe of Broadway, when just a few years ago, it would have seemed impossible for the former Pussycat Doll to win such a gong. Following a 'flop' attempt at a solo singing career after the pop group disbanded in 2010, her stage career had also looked doomed following a vicious spat with Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber - despite her shout out to him on Sunday. Nine years ago, the former Pussycat Doll had just pulled out of his Broadway production of Cats at the last minute to take a seven-figure salary to return as a judge on ITV's X Factor. Furious Lord Webber declared that she would never 'get her Tony Award'. Lord Webber had raged: 'I'm furious because I really believe she's the most fantastically talented girl and I went out on a limb... but never mind, there'll be another girl on Broadway and Nicole will not get her Tony Award.' But following raving reviews in his new Sunset Boulevard show, Nicole has become Lloyd Webber's shining diamond on Broadway - and not only has he eaten his words, but he's become her biggest cheerleader. She has also appeared in Men in Black 3, voiced a role in Disney's Moana, and starred in stage productions of Rent and Cats.
