OPEN//PM says complaints system is vital bridge between needs of society segments, gov't bodies
CAIRO, March 8 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Saturday underscored the necessity of maximizing efforts to receive and deal with citizens' complaints and meet requests received by the Cabinet's Unified Government Complaints System nationwide.
Efforts are focused on maintaining work to promote communication mechanisms between the government and citizens to receive complaints, questions and requests regarding different government services via the Unified Government Complaints System, he said.
The complaints system is considered a vital bridge linking between needs of different segments in the society and various government bodies.
The state is seeking to boost the societal participation and transparency and improve services offered to citizens in different sectors, according to him.
The premier stressed his complete support for the system and the need to review the performance of all relevant government bodies.
The premier made his remarks while reviewing a report prepared by the Unified Government Complaints System on the government's efforts to deal with citizens' complaints in February, 2025.
Director of the Unified Government Complaints System Tarek el Refaei confirmed that these efforts aimed to ensure a higher level of responsiveness to citizens' complaints.
The total number of complaints submitted through the system in the above-mentioned month amounted to 135,000, according to him. (MENA)
