SendCutSend Doubles Down on Business Tools as More Teams Tap Into Enterprise Features

Company Joins Inc. 5000 List for Third Straight Year
RENO, Nev., Aug. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — As more companies turn to fast, flexible American manufacturing, SendCutSend is seeing growing demand for business tools built for engineering teams, purchasing departments, and production managers.
The company offers features like multi-user organization accounts, net-30 payment terms, dedicated account representatives, and built-in design for manufacturability (DFM) checks, streamlining the way businesses order and scale custom parts.
These business features, which have been part of SendCutSend's platform for several years, are seeing record adoption across industries. That growth has helped SendCutSend earn #511 on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. for the third year in a row.
'These aren't brand-new tools, they've just become a bigger part of how companies are working with us,' said Jim Belosic, CEO and co-founder of SendCutSend. 'We're building for speed and simplicity. And the more we can take off our customers' plates, the better.'
SendCutSend works with thousands of companies, including more than half of the Fortune 500. Its platform supports everything from prototyping to large production runs, with no order minimums and more than 170 materials and finishes available. Most parts ship in 2–3 business days, with rush production now available on select services.
Every file uploaded to SendCutSend is automatically checked by the DFM engine, which flags potential manufacturing issues, before a part moves to production. This helps reduce errors and cuts down on delays, especially for teams working through design iterations or repeat runs.
SendCutSend was founded in 2018 and operates production facilities in Nevada, Kentucky, and Texas. The company has shipped more than 50 million parts to over 300,000 customers.

These kinds of social media videos are most likely to convert shoppers

As for product recommendations, a higher proportion of respondents – 66% – say they trust those made by everyday social media users. — Pixabay Social media is becoming increasingly integrated into American shopping habits. And not just because many of the major platforms now have dedicated e-commerce features. According to a recently published survey by marketing platform Omnisend, consumers lean on social media in several ways as they make purchase decisions. More than half of the 2,000-plus social media users surveyed by Ominsend admit that content on platforms like TikTok and Instagram have directly inspired them to buy something. If a product or category is trending online, 45% say they're more likely to purchase, per the survey. Only about 13% link their choice to buy with 'specific TikTok content types,' however. Still, Pija Ona Indriunaite, Omnisend's director of brand, said in the London-based company's press release that 'repeatedly seeing certain products on the platform primes consumers to notice and trust these items elsewhere.' This makes 'TikTok an important starting point' for businesses, she added, 'even if it doesn't always get credit for the sale.' Shoppers also use social media to research products. When asked how they determine whether 'an item is worth buying,' 70% of respondents point to social media content. Users rank verified reviews as their most trusted source of information on these platforms, followed by other users' comments. As for product recommendations, a higher proportion of respondents – 66% – say they trust those made by everyday social media users. Fewer have confidence in the endorsements celebrities and influencers make – 38% and 49%, respectively. This is perhaps because public figures often get paid by brands to promote products. Wondering how your business can create social media content that consumers will trust? By analysing the 25 highest-selling products of 2024 across several Amazon categories along with the TikTok videos that featured them, Omnisend found that 10 to 15 second-long videos 'filmed as informal, first-person recommendations consistently outperform other formats.' – Inc./Tribune News Service

Democrats decry move by Pentagon to pause $800 million in nearly done software projects

FILE PHOTO: The Pentagon building is seen in Arlington, Virginia, U.S. October 9, 2020. REUTERS/Carlos Barria/File Photo WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Democrats took aim at the Trump administration after Reuters reported on Wednesday that the Navy and Air Force were poised to cancel nearly completed software projects worth over $800 million. The reason for the move was an effort by some officials at the services to steer new projects to companies like Salesforce and Palantir, in what could amount to a costly do-over. 'The Pentagon has yet to show that it had a good reason for halting these contracts in the last inning and scrapping work American tax dollars have already paid for," Democratic Senator Tim Kaine said in a statement. "If it can't show its homework, then this announcement - just days after Palantir's CEO spoke at Mike Johnson's Wyoming donor retreat - reeks of corruption.' Punchbowl reported this month that Palantir CEO Alex Karp planned to address Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson's annual big-donor retreat in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Pentagon and Air Force did not respond to requests for comment. The Navy declined to comment. Trump officials have said the administration is striving to make the contracting process more efficient. The comments show growing concern among Democratic lawmakers over waste at the Pentagon, even as Donald Trump took office vowing to rid the government of waste and abuse. The website of the Department of Government Efficiency, the agency he created to spearhead those efforts, lists over $14 billion in Defense Department contracts it claims to have canceled. But seven months into his presidency, some of his own actions have complicated DOGE's work, from firing the Pentagon's inspector general to issuing an executive order prioritizing speed and risk-taking in defense acquisitions. 'If you're serious about cracking down on waste, fraud, and abuse, the last thing you'd do is cancel $800 million in projects that are nearly ready to roll out just to turn around and steer the same work to corporations of your choosing," said Democratic Representative Maggie Goodlander, who sits on the House Armed Services Committee and served as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserve. "This maneuver is an insult to taxpayers and servicemembers across America," she added. Salud Carbajal, another House Democrat who sits on the Armed Services Committee, said the behavior was part of a pattern of waste at the Pentagon under Trump. 'I understand that our military's acquisition and procurement processes aren't flawless, but this administration has repeatedly shown a blatant disregard for the responsible use of taxpayer dollars,' said Carbajal, citing "lavish" military parades and "unnecessary" troop deployments in Los Angeles. Democratic U.S. Representative Jill Tokuda, who also sits on the committee, echoed Carbajal's remarks. "Stripping away critical oversight guardrails is unnecessary and downright reckless," she said, adding that after many delays, the Pentagon was finally poised to implement military pay systems that could pass an audit. "Taxpayers should not fund sweetheart deals for the well connected." (Reporting by Alexandra Alper; Editing by Andrea Ricci)
