VisitPITTSBURGH, Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, and the Steelers recently unveiled the 2026 NFL Draft Countdown Clock — and it looks immaculate.
The two-sided digital clock was erected on the North Shore Great Lawn and was described by VisitPITTSBURGH CEO Jerad Bechar as "a symbol of the hard work ahead as [Pittsburgh] prepares to welcome the NFL, prospects, and fans from around the world."

Via the Steelers' official website, Art Rooney II described what's to come as more than just a draft — and what the clock represents to the Steel City:
"It's not just going to be for one weekend. It's going to be talking about how much fun it is to live here; how much fun it is to visit here. So, we have a whole year now to talk about this. And this clock that we're going to unveil is going to remind us about that every day."
The city of Pittsburgh will host the NFL Draft from Thursday, April 23 to Saturday, April 25 — where the Steelers could potentially select their QB of the future in a class loaded with talented signal-callers.

Aaron Rodgers's one-year deal is worth up to $19.5 million
The numbers are in. And, to no surprise, quarterback Aaron Rodgers won't be playing for only $10 million this year. Even though he said he would. Via Adam Schefter of it's a one-year deal with a maximum value of $19.5 million. The base amount is $13.65 million, with $10 million guaranteed. And, of course, only $10 million is guaranteed so Mr. Yeah I've Been Immunized can claim he said he'd play for $10 million, and he's playing for $10 million. He's not. He's playing for $13.65 million plus incentives. The full base amount is guaranteed as a practical matter. As of Week 1, any non-guaranteed salary becomes fully guaranteed under the labor deal. Which means that the only way he gets only $10 million is if he's cut before Week 1. Which will not happen. The deal has $5.85 million in playtime and team performance incentives. Without having the specifics (and we'll eventually get them), it's hard to know how easy or hard it is to get to $19.5 million. Still, the deal makes him the second lowest paid starting quarterback on a non-rookie deal. Only Giants quarterback Russell Wilson is making less. Technically, Wilson could make more. But he'd have to hit all of his incentives, which include the Giants going 17-0. We'd be willing to bet $19.5 million that the Steelers won't need to go 17-0 to get Rodgers to $19.5 million.

But at the Festival Grounds at RFK Campus, home to the WorldPride Music Fest just four miles from the White House, there was nothing but love, joy and dancing during Day 1 of the fest, with scant references from the stage to the feud or the administration that's been trouncing on LGBTQ+ rights with a slew of executive orders. Yes we are,' said liner Jennifer Lopez, who expressed her allyship and gratitude to the community. The Green Bay Packers and quarterback Jordan Love will face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers in Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday Night Football. That matchup is now officially going to happen. On Friday, Rodgers agreed to terms with the Steelers. He flew to Pittsburgh to sign his deal, and he will be the new starting quarterback for the storied franchise. He's clearly excited to face off against his old mentor. "I was excited for A-Rod. I don't think I was too surprised," Love said. "I feel like there were a lot of rumors going on throughout the whole offseason about him going to the Steelers. I was excited for him, that he was obviously coming back and going to be playing. There were also some rumors that he might be done, so just knowing he's going to keep playing, that's pretty awesome." Love continued on, speaking out more about how Rodgers treated him when he was drafted. He's thankful for Rodgers and the way he handled things. "I appreciate definitely the way A-Rod handled being in that situation, and I think a big part of it — which he told me — was he knew how it was for him being in that same position, and the things that he went through and the way the situation might've been handled [differently]," Love said. "I think his perspective was, 'I'm trying to go about this a little bit differently,' which I think was awesome." Finally, the Green Bay franchise quarterback spoke out specifically about his matchup with Rodgers during the 2025 season. "I can't wait to be on different sides, meeting up, and I know we'll talk pre-game, things like that. And hopefully we can exchange jerseys after." Just like Rodgers when he faced off against Brett Favre, there will be some emotions involved in the game. Even though Rodgers is no longer connected to the Packers, what he did with the franchise will never be forgotten. However, when the two teams step onto the field, all friendships will be forgotten for 60 minutes of game action. Love playing against Rodgers on Sunday Night Football will be must-watch football.
