
Portugal qualifies for UEFA Nations League final with two goals against Germany

The Portuguese national team qualified for the UEFA Nations League final for the second time in its history, after defeating Germany 2-1 yesterday in the semi-final of the fourth edition of the tournament.
Francisco Conceicao scored Portugal's goals in the (63) minute and Cristiano Ronaldo (68) minute, while Wirtz scored Germany's goal in the (48) minute.
With his goal, Cristiano Ronaldo tops the tournament's top scorer list with seven goals.
The Portuguese national team will face the winner of the match between Spain and France, which will be held today, Thursday, in the final.
The Portuguese national team qualified for this round by defeating Denmark on penalties, 5-3.
The Portuguese national team won the first edition of the Nations League in 2019, while the French national team won the second edition in 2021, and the Spanish national team won the third edition in 2023.

Madrid - Saba: Real Madrid announced on Friday the departure of defender Jesús Vallejo following the expiration of his contract with the club at the end of the current 2024-2025 season. In a statement published on its official website, the Royal Club said: "Real Madrid CF announces the end of Jesús Vallejo's journey at Real Madrid." The statement added: "Real Madrid extends its gratitude to Jesús Vallejo for his professionalism, dedication, and hard work, and wishes him and his family all the best in this new chapter of his life." Vallejo, 28, joined Real Madrid from Zaragoza in 2015 but only played for Los Blancos in five seasons, making 35 appearances and scoring one goal. During his time at the club, Vallejo was loaned out five times—to Zaragoza, Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Granada (twice).
