Mumbai witnessed a spectacular celebration of music, emotion, and unity as AR Rahman's 'The Wonderment Tour' lit up the DY Patil Stadium, captivating a massive audience of over 40,000 attendees.
Held as a marquee event as part of Waves Summit 2025, the concert proved to be a genre-defying experience that fans are calling a 'once-in-a-lifetime moment.'
The evening began with dynamic performances by The Yellow Diary, Anubha Bajaj, and Ridáy, who set the tone with their fresh and much loved songs. The momentum only built from there as the stage was taken over by musical legends Sukhwinder Singh, Jonita Gandhi, AR Ameen, and Zanai Bhosle, along with the legend AR Rahman Himself. The evening was filled with songs ranging from Jai Ho, Aaye re Toofan, Jinguchaa and ending on a high note with Vande Mataram.

A surprise twist in the night had fans roaring with excitement as Mohit Chauhan and actor-singer Dhanush made unexpected appearances, performing live alongside AR Rahman.
The event was a collaborative vision brought to life by AR Rahman and Percept Live.
Ashwwin Mukundan , Project Director reflected on the night, saying: 'This was more than just a concert—it was a celebration of creativity, and the power of music. To see over 40,000 fans experiencing joy and wonder together, was exactly what we hoped to achieve when we began planning this with AR Rahman, Shiamak Davar and our partners.'
Audience members left the stadium beaming with joy, many calling it a true wonder. 'It felt like we were part of something historic. The energy, the visuals, the surprise performances, it was all magical,' said an audience member who attended the grand concert.
'When Dhanush and Rahman performed , it was amazing' said another.
From dazzling performances to stellar choreography by the dance Guru Shiamak Davar himself, the Wonderment Tour delivered an unforgettable sensory journey. For Mumbai, May 3rd, 2025 will be remembered as the night when music transcended boundaries, led by a maestro whose genius continues to inspire generations.

Chennai: The makers of director Sekhar Kammula's highly anticipated pan-Indian movie, Kuberaa, featuring actors Dhanush and Nagarjuna in the lead, have disclosed that actor Nagarjuna has now completed dubbing for his portions in the film. It may be recalled that the makers of the film have already disclosed that actor Dhanush plays a character called Deva in the film. It may be recalled that Dhanush, at the audio launch of Kuberaa, had praised the film's director Sekhar Kammula, calling him 'a pure soul, like a divine angel.' Dhanush also recalled his first scene for the film which he said he shot barefoot and under the scorching Tirupati sun. The actor shot the scene, dressed in rags. The experience, he said, had reminded him of life's essential truths, much like his time filming Raanjhaana in Banaras, amidst funeral pyres. 'Greed, money, worldly pleasures—they're nothing,' the actor had said. 'What matters is a pure soul. Kuberaa will make you realize that. I am 2000% confident about the impact this film will have.' Apart from Nagarjuna and Dhanush, the film will also feature actors Jim Sarbh and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles. The film, which is to hit screens on June 20 this year, is keenly awaited as this is the first time that National-award winning actor Dhanush has joined hands with ace filmmaker Sekhar Kammula. On the technical front, Kuberaa has cinematography by Niketh Bommi. Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre are the production designers of the film. The film has been co-written by Chaithanya Pingali. Costumes for the film have been designed by Kavya Sriram and Poorvaa Jain. Kuberaa is being bankrolled by Suniel Naran and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas.
