Oklahoma Sooners earn commitment from 2026 blue chip offensive lineman
The Oklahoma Sooners added their ninth pledge in the 2026 recruiting class on Monday, picking up a commitment from four-star offensive lineman Noah Best. Best is the No. 15 interior offensive lineman in the class according to Rivals and is also a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry ranking.
Best marks the second offensive line commitment in the class, joining Will Conroy, another interior offensive line prospect in 2026. Best chose the Sooners over offers from Missouri and Kansas State and had a total of 24 Power Four offers across the SEC, Big Ten, ACC, and Big 12.
It's a big win for Bill Bedenbaugh and the Oklahoma Sooners, who add another physical interior offensive lineman of the future.
Best is a force at the point of attack and imposes his will on defenders. He moves really well in space, displaying the athleticism to pull across the formation and climb to the second level in the run game. As a pass protector, Best displays really good footwork. He doesn't allow defenders to beat him around the edge. He's a strong player. Once he gets his hands on the rusher, they don't go anywhere.
Although he projects as a guard at the collegiate level, his experience and the talent he has shown at offensive tackle will provide Best the position flexibility to make an impact at multiple spots along the offensive line.

Report: Steelers' Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf build chemistry at Cam Heyward's golf event

Report: Steelers' Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf build chemistry at Cam Heyward's golf event New Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers is making up for lost time — building chemistry with his star wide receiver DK Metcalf at veteran defensive tackle Cam Heyward's Iron for Impact charity golf event. According to The Standard on social media, the pair were spotted at Heyward's annual outing: "Aaron Rodgers & DK Metcalf already building chemistry. Spotted today at Cam Heyward's 'Irons for Impact' Golf Outing. That didn't take long." During his time in Seattle, Metcalf spent some offseasons golfing with then-Seahawks QB Russell Wilson — but he's never played with someone as decorated as Rodgers, who won the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with PGA pro Ben Silverman. Rodgers has ample time to connect with his other top wide receivers — Calvin Austin III, Roman Wilson, and Robert Woods — at mandatory minicamp, which kicks off on Tuesday, June 10.
