Novak Djokovic Sends Clear Message on Wife Jelena Djokovic
Novak Djokovic's wife Jelena Djokovic has witnessed her husband win Wimbledon seven times with hopes of securing an eighth title in 2025. Despite the impressive resume, the tennis star has made it clear that the biggest priority is his family.
Novak's family life has helped the icon win a record 24 Grand Slam titles. The couple are the proud parents to two kids: son Stefan and a daughter Tara. Jelena is actively involved in the tennis star's foundation as the co-founder and global CEO.
"Jelena is an open-minded apprentice of life with never-satiating hunger for knowledge who would like to be remembered as a curious soul who loves life and lifelong learning," the bio reads for Novak's wife on the Novak Djokovic Foundation website.
"A mother of two with an incredible passion to help, she is someone who lives and breathes Early Childhood Education."
During an Oct. 2024 interview with Vogue's Nick Remsen, Novak opened up about life with his wife and kids.
"I primarily spend time with my kids and my wife—my family is everything to me," Novak remarked. "I try to be involved in the kids' everyday chores, taking them to school. Every once in a while, we have a family trip where the four of us spend some quality time and really reconnect."
As for life as a dad, Novak is enjoying the healthy distraction fatherhood provides from tennis.
"The most fun is the fact that they're still kids—they always want to play, so they're super-creative," Novak noted. "And then, of course, they're also challenging you the entire time, pushing the limit and seeing how far they can go to get what they want. There's always this interaction happening on a daily basis for the smallest things.
"Tolerance and patience are some of the things I have been really training myself on with my kids—and learning from them, because they're so present, and they're so forgiving."

Katie Taylor ordered to defend undisputed titles against Chantelle Cameron; Joshua Buatsi vs. Zach Parker confirmed
Katie Taylor could be headed for another trilogy. The WBC has now formally ordered the Irishwoman to defend her undisputed super lightweight crown against Britain's Chantelle Cameron. Taylor, Uncrowned's pound-for-pound No. 1 boxer, and Cameron, Uncrowned's No. 5, split back-to-back fights in 2023. Cameron retained her undisputed 140-pound championship with an upset over Taylor in May, while a terrific performance from Taylor saw her avenge her only career loss in November. Taylor (25-1, 6 KOs) is coming off a pair of wins over Amanda Serrano. The future Hall of Famer went 3-0 in her trilogy with Puerto Rico's Serrano and scored the only convincing win in the series in July in New York. Cameron (21-1, 8 KOs), now signed with Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, fought on the prelims and retained her WBC interim belt with a wide decision over Jessica Camara. There is uncertainty about whether the bout will materialize. Not only is Taylor not expected to return to the ring in 2025, but she may not fight again at all. Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn, who has promoted Taylor for her whole career, believes that a special night at Croke Park could be the only thing that brings Taylor back. Buatsi-Parker tops light heavyweight triple-header Last week, Uncrowned broke the news that Joshua Buatsi had left Ben Shalom's BOXXER to join Frank Warren's Queensberry. Now, his Queensberry debut is set. The top light heavyweight contender will face fellow Brit Zach Parker in the headliner of a DAZN telecast from the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, England, on Nov. 2, Queensberry confirmed on Friday. Buatsi (19-1, 13 KOs) was dethroned of his WBO interim title by Callum Smith in a Fight of the Year contender on February's Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol rematch undercard. Prior to that, the Brit had built up a strong resume domestically, with wins over Willy Hutchinson, Craig Richards and Dan Azeez. Parker (26-1, 18 KOs) has won four fights in a row since an injury cut short his WBO interim super middleweight title bout with John Ryder in November 2022. In the card's co-feature, Mancunian light heavyweights Brad Rea (21-1, 10 KOs) and Lyndon Arthur (24-3, 16 KOs) collide for Rea's European crown. Rea defeated Shakan Pitters to claim European honors in June, while Arthur hasn't fought since a split-decision loss to Anthony Yarde in their April trilogy bout on the Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn undercard. Rounding out the light heavyweight triple header, Ukraine's Daniel Lapin (12-0, 4 KOs) will return to the ring against Britain's Troy Jones (12-1, 6 KOs). Lapin successfully defended his WBO International and WBA Continental titles against Lewis Edmondson on the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois undercard at Wembley Stadium in July. Jones lost his unbeaten record to Ezra Taylor in May.

Chivu Cautiously Optimistic After Inter Milan Beat Monaco In Friendly: ‘Good Match, But Results Don't Matter In Preseason'
Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu is satisfied with his team's performance in a preseason friendly win over Monaco. The Nerazzurri coach spoke to InterTV after the friendly win, via FCInterNews. He also added that 'results don't matter' in preseason matches. The Nerazzurri had to do it the hard way, though. Firstly, Monaco went ahead within a couple minutes. Maghnes Akliouche took the lead within two minutes for the host. Then, Hakan Calhanoglu got a straight red card for a late tackle. However, Inter came back in the first half. Firstly, Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez equalized. Then, summer signing Age-Yoan Bonny got on the scoresheet to complete the comeback. Chivu: 'Good Match' For Inter Vs Monaco In 2-1 Friendly Win SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – JUNE 21: Cristian Chivu, Head Coach of FC Internazionale Milano, reacts during the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 group E match between FC Internazionale Milano and Urawa Red Diamonds at Lumen Field on June 21, 2025 in Seattle, Washington. (Photo by) Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu said after the fixture that 'it's a preseason match.' 'Legs aren't quiet working the way they should yet,' the coach admitted. 'But it was a good test of our abilities.' 'We need to get some minutes in,' Chivu continued. 'Because time is running out.' Chivu noted that 'there are just seventeen days to go before the start of the season.' 'I'll take the character from the team, and the desire to turn the match around despite the difficulties we had playing with ten men.' 'It's hard to analyze,' said Chivu. 'Because we're not at our best physically.' 'But we gained some intensity. Obviously, we're still lacking some technical brilliance and a clinical edge in front of goal.' 'We had some clear chances in front of goal,' Chivu added. The Inter coach also admitted that 'I don't much care about the result.' 'I don't want to win a trophy in August,' he declared. 'I'm interested in the team gaining confidence and fuel for the challenges to come.'

LFC x adidas Shop the goalkeeper range today LFC x adidas Shop the new adidas range today! It was very clear from the beginning that Liverpool wanted to sign Alexander Isak. What was less clear is that they didn't just want Isak but also Hugo Ekitike. When Newcastle tried to pounce on the Frenchman, Liverpool swooped in and completed that deal. Inadvertently that has had a delay on Newcastle's acceptance to part ways with Isak. After missing out on Ekitike, Newcastle have missed out on Benjamin Sesko as well. Right now Eddie Howe's side are making other moves, and it looks like at least one deal is close to being completed. It's a deal that will have admiration from Liverpool's scouting department. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas away range According to Sky Sports' Keith Downie, Newcastle are now closing in on a deal for Yoane Wissa. The Brentford forward has made it clear he wants to leave the club and a move now looks likely for him. This is a move that will pique Liverpool's interest. Not just because it has ramifications for Isak but also because Wissa is very much a player admired by the club's scouting department. Ian Graham highlighted this in his book: How to Win the Premier League. In an excerpt praising the statistical evolution at Brentford, Graham noted Wissa as one of the best signings the club has made using data: "Yoane Wissa had been brilliant in Ligue 2 then in Ligue 1 for years - in 2012 he would have been on Liverpool's shortlist but when he moved to Brentford, we had the luxury of shopping in more expensive markets," Graham said.
