Newsboy's racing tips for Tuesday's four meetings, including Leicester Nap
JACK THE TOOTH (Nap) can open his account on the track by taking a bite out of the bookies in the Glyn Hall Wealth Management Restricted Maiden Stakes (Div 2) (3.17) at Leicester today.
The already gelded George Scott-trained youngster finished down the field in a Windsor maiden but shaped with enough promise to suggest he could make his mark at this level.
He was beaten just over four lengths on debut over 6f and could have finished closer if not forced to check by a tiring horse in the closing stages.
The form has been given a big boost with the filly who finished a place in front of him scoring at Lingfield Park last weekend while the sixth horse has run well again since too.
Jack The Tooth can do the same with the step up to 7f bound to suit the son of Twilight Son.
At Lingfield, DROUTHY NEEBOR (6.45) has a prime opportunity to get off the mark at the 11th attempt.
After five placed efforts, the Hughie Morrison-trained gelding went off favourite for a 2m handicap at Wolverhampton last month, but the saddle slipped and he was pulled up.
In a modest event, restricted to horses rated 50 and below, he looks the form pick under David Egan.

The canny trainer has earned a well-deserved reputation for hugely improving newcomers to the yard and there's untapped potential in this June arrival from Sandy Thomson's yard. He's lightly raced for his age and went close a couple of times over hurdles for the Scottish handler. Owen looks to have found a good debut race and has booked champion jockey Sean Bowen which suggests it's all systems go. MOSSVALE DIVA (2.45 Catterick, nb) Has been knocking on the door and this looks an excellent winning chance. She has gone down by less than a length on her past two outings – both at Beverley – so should handle Catterick's ups and downs. UNDER THE TWILIGHT (7.00 Windsor, treble) Won well here two runs back before going down in a photo at Glorious Goodwood. She's up the weights but looks well up to the challenge. MY GENGHIS (Windsor 4.52, Lucky 15) He went close at Chepstow on his turf return latest and is best over this distance. Horse racing tips: ‘She's a supreme stayer' – Red-hot Templegate's 11-4 Sunday NAP
TEMPLEGATE'S Sunday tips are below after yet another winning NAP on Saturday. Back a horse by clicking their odds. (NO ALIBI Pontefract 3.42, nap). The sun should be shining at Ponte Carlo which is good news for this improving filly who has shown a liking for quick conditions. Paddy Twomey is one of Ireland's most consistent trainers and he started this two-year-old at The Curragh where she was a close-up second on debut in April. She more than matched that form when getting off the mark at Cork a month later before a smooth success at Limerick last time when staying this distance strongly. It's a bit of a leap from there into Listed company but she's clearly going the right way. DIVOT (4.52 Southwell, nb) Was a close-up second over this trip last time when probably held up for too long. Hopefully Saffie Osborne has learned from that run and can keep him a little closer to the pace. He's certainly good enough to take this. ULTRASOUL (3.22 Southwell, treble) Ran a cracking second on return from eight months off at Lingfield in a first-time hood. This step up in trip looks a wise move. SAXONIA (3.12 Pontefract, Lucky 15) Comes here in form with a Newmarket win this season and a Wolverhampton near-miss last time. This track should suit his positive style and Billy Loughnane's on again. She had an inexperienced jockey in the plate when she allowed a useful rival too much rope at Hamilton last time, but she still pulled miles clear of the rest. With Silvestre De Sousa back on board, she can return to winning ways. NOBLE HORIZON (7.10 Hamilton, nb) Bumped into a useful horse at Newmarket two starts ago. He made no mistake in a weaker race at Leicester 26 days ago and he can go on a roll now for his top stable. NOVAK (7.40 Hamilton, treble) Came back to form with a good second at Musselburgh last time. He is a C&D winner and is still on a winning mark.
