He accomplished the feat at UFC on ESPN 33. Gutierrez is the only fighter in UFC history to earn knockouts by knee, spinning backfist and leg kicks. Gutierrez lands 59.2 percent of his significant strike attempts in UFC bantamweight competition, the second-best rate in divisional history behind Sean O'Malley (61.5 percent). Da'Mon Blackshear vs. Heili Alateng Da'Mon Blackshear (16-7-1 MMA, 4-3-1 UFC) is one of three fighters in UFC history to earn a submission victory by Twister. He accomplished the feat at UFC on ESPN 51. Bryce Mitchell and Chan Sung Jung have also won with the technique. Malcolm Wellmaker vs. Cameron Saaiman Cameron Saaiman (9-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) has suffered consecutive losses after starting his career 9-0. Jaqueline Amorim vs. Polyana Viana Polyana Viana (13-5 MMA, 4-4 UFC) has earned all 13 of her career victories by stoppage. She has finished all four of her UFC wins in the first round. Viana's average fight time of 7:58 in UFC strawweight competition is shortest in divisional history. Viana's four stoppage victories in UFC strawweight competition are tied for fifth-most in divisional history behind Jessica Andrade (six), Amanda Lemos (five), Rose Namajunas (five) and Mackenzie Dern (five). Top bantamweight contenders Deiveson Figueiredo and Cory Sandhagen will look to put their names back in the title mix in May. After losing arguable bantamweight title eliminators in their most recent octagon appearances, former flyweight champ Figueiredo (24-4-1 MMA, 13-4-1 UFC) will take on Sandhagen (17-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC) in a UFC Fight Night main event on May 3 in Des Moines, Iowa (ESPN+) pay-per-view, ESPNews, ESPN+). A person with knowledge of the situation confirmed the booking to MMA Junkie on Thursday following an initial report from MMA reporter Leonardo Guimarães. The person requested anonymity because the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. Figueiredo, the former two-time UFC flyweight champion, most recently competed in November when he lost a unanimous decision to Petr Yan in the UFC Fight Night 248 main event. It was his first defeat since moving up to 135 pounds. Sandhagen, meanwhile, will try to rebound from his UFC on ABC 7 main event loss to Umar Nurmagomedov in August.
